It’s been a while since Fox News’ Chris Stirewalt has been mentioned
here, whereas he’s been repetitive for quite some time now. Today, however he
headlined his column @FoxNews.com: "Independents, not Republicans, decide elections," and he's absolutely correct.
Stirewalt writes: “The conservative press and the mainstream press are going
to spend much of the next 20 days kindling every spark they can find of the
fires of enmity in the Republican Party.
“This is satisfying for both Democrats and Trump supporters. The narrative
that the betrayal by the Speaker of the House or other establishment Republicans
is to blame for Trump’s failures makes Trump feel better, and cheers Democrats
because it is a foretaste of a permanently, hopelessly, divided opposition party
in the years to come.”
And then, Stirewalt addresses the major issue underlying the entire
presidential race at present, and by doing so inadvertently identifies the
reason that nobody on the planet can accurately predict the final outcome,
regardless of any or all poll results.
Stirewalt advises: “But do not let them fool you.
“Trump supporters are threatening to abandon down-ballot Republicans who do
not back Trump to the hilt. Establishmentarians and conservatives are
withdrawing their support for Trump to deny him victory.
“While these acts of protest no doubt satisfy the hatreds that now animate
the GOP from an electoral standpoint, this is chicken feed compared to those
other 40 million voters Republicans need to be a viable party.”
And that’s where the guesses regarding the race’s outcome fall far short
because, as mentioned often here, the polling “experts,” media pundits and
broadcast talking heads have no idea who Trump’s supporters really are, how many
exist or where and how to find them. Which is most important because there very well may be 40 million of them.
On another subject mentioned often here, it’s now becoming apparent as to why
the POTUS strived so hard to give control of the Internet to an international
body. And that’s because it will lead to eventual censorship of conservative
ideology that will help liberal causes in the U.S. and worldwide.
In today’s case, Paul Bedard @washingtonexaminer.com, writes that:
“A top Democrat on the Federal Election Commission, frustrated that her efforts
to regulate online political campaigns have been blocked by Republicans, is
pushing for it on Twitter.
“Ann Ravel, who frequently tweets about policy and her travels, on Tuesday
retweeted a sharp criticism of fellow Commissioner Lee Goodman, the Republican
who has helped to lead the fight against internet regulations.
“Goodman on Monday ripped efforts by Democrats to regulate political speech
on the media, comparing it to McCarthyism. He also hit Ravel. "There has been an
active effort within the commission, principally by one commissioner,
Commissioner Ann Ravel, to begin regulating speech and YouTube posts on the
Internet," said Goodman. "And I've just drawn a line and I've fought very hard
to protect that freedom."
So, here’s a case that clearly illustrates the importance of the upcoming
elections across the board. Because, if Trump should lose, there's no doubt at
all that the Supreme Court will become a liberal body. However, that’s a factor
often covered in the major media from both sides. But, what isn’t so obvious are
other areas of control, such as the Internet, which can have tremendous impact
in the future if freedoms of speech and opinion are curtailed by liberal’s
influencing informational content.
As far as liberals and the major media striving for information control is concerned,
the rest of the world seems to be uninhibited about demonstrating its opinion
regarding American politics.
A friend sent photo’s yesterday of “floats that were part of the annual
Carnival Parade in Germany watched by an estimated three million people in three
German cities including Düsseldorf.”
No commentary’s needed as the picture speaks loudly for itself.
And then, Kyle Olson reports @theamericanmirror.com, that: “Bill
Clinton “rape” protesters were pushed and shoved during two Florida rallies on
Tuesday.
“Clinton was speaking in Fort Myers, Florida Tuesday afternoon when a man
wearing a “Hillary for Prison” t-shirt began shouting “rapist” as Clinton was
talking.”
Recovering well: “Clinton urged the crowd to cheer for him.
“Give this guy a hand. They have had a terrible week and he’s just gotta do
this,” he said.
“The protester was grabbed on the arm by a security agent and another person
around the shoulder, and forcefully led out.”
In addition: “On Monday, a man wearing a Bill Clinton “RAPE” t-shirt was
positioned behind Hillary during a rally in Detroit, Michigan. Video showed him
tumbling down the stairs as campaign personnel attempted to force him out of the
venue.”
In his summation, Mr. Olsen writes: “These incidents are happening virtually
on a daily basis now and they have to be affecting the campaign’s psyche.” All
of which means that regardless of the mainstream media’s constant attempts to
make the case that Trump is finished, everyday reality presents a totally
different picture.
And that reality was further confirmed by David Martosko, US Political Editor
for dailymail.com in Panama City Beach, Florida, whose article serves
as today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife, as follows:
“Donald Trump took full advantage Tuesday night of the day's document
cascade released by Wikileaks, telling a Florida crowd that Hillary Clinton's
campaign is full of 'so much corruption' that his administration would be
obligated to launch a new criminal probe of her actions during and after her
tenure at the State Department.
'We have to investigate Hillary Clinton, and we have to investigate the
investigation! She was a disaster,' Trump claimed, recalling her time as a
carpetbagging U.S. senator from New York.
'And she's a bad person. Remember that. She's a bad, bad person.'
Trump was referring to new WikiLeaks material, revealing information that
came from a hack attack on her campaign chairman John Podesta's private email
account.
“By the time a crowd estimated at 8,000 filed back to their cars, [Trump] had
accused her of secretly plotting to eliminate America's national borders in
favor of a single global government with control over trade and immigration.
'Speaking in secret to a foreign bank, again just revealed, Hillary said "My
dream is a hemispheric common market with open trade and open borders",' Trump
said, quoting a digest of previously undisclosed transcripts of speeches she
delivered on Wall Street for an average of $225,000 each.
'Well, there goes the rest of your businesses. And there goes your country,
folks,' he fumed as a helicopter buzzed overhead flashing a 'Make America Great
Again' message on its underbelly.
'Behind closed doors when she thought no one was listening, she pledged to
dissolve the borders of the United States of America. No borders!'
'If you don't have borders, we don't have a country,' said a suddenly sullen
Trump.
Interestingly, reader C. Monty Burns, commented: “American press
(other than Fox) is not reporting this.”
Yet, the way the voting public gets its information today has changed significantly. According to Sam Reisman @mediaite.com, on July 12th, 2016: "DrudgeReport.com topped the list of U.S. media publishers for June 2016, coming in at #3 in terms of total page views, according to Similar Web.
The conservative news aggregator led by Matt Drudge netted
a combined page view count of 1,189,670,000 for the month and held its
position as the #3 media publisher in the country. Drudge was bested
only by MSN and Disney, and joins Time Warner and Google as the Top 5
for a second consecutive month."
Mr. Olson's article contains considerable significant information. Here's a link:
And in closing, considering that Trump may very well be doing far better than what's being reported in the MSM, the ongoing question needs asking again: Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden,
Jerry Brown, and Starbucks chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you guys
are reading this?
That's it for today folks.
Adios
