Writing this morning to get thoughts on paper, before final decisions have been made by the Democrat party to willingly self-destruct in a manner that will more than likely end their existence while making their political resurrection virtually impossible as they seek to “impeach” President Donald Trump.

The underlying reasons that the far-left, in partnership with the mainstream media, have decided on political suicide pursuing the Trump impeachment fiasco, don’t really matter very much because statistically their segment of the nation’s society is merely a blip. Roughly 40% of the nation typically votes Republican, another 40% typically votes Democrat, while the remaining 20% refers to itself as “independent.” Of the 40% comprised of Democrats, it’s believed that half, or less, comprise the so-called far left.

What this means is, that although the mainstream media would have its declining audience believe that presidential impeachment is favored by a national majority, actual unbiased poll results reveal that a very small tail is wagging a very large dog. Because, as the congressional impeachment viewership indicates, the proceedings generated little more than a yawn from the public in actuality.

But what’s far more indicative of the probable outcome of this situation as perceived by this writer, is to take a step back and look at the reality of what’s truly involved. On one hand we have leftists claiming they’re up in arms because of the president’s involvement with Ukraine, and then violations of the Foreign Emoluments Clause of the Constitution by accepting payments from foreign dignitaries, possession of assets that could raise a conflict of interest, including a statement that failure to divest such assets would constitute high crimes and misdemeanors. That’s followed by claims of conflicts of interest arising from Trump's ability to use his political position to promote the interests of "Trump"-branded businesses, and ongoing payments by foreign entities to businesses within the Trump business empire also a violation of the Foreign Emoluments Clause. And then there’s the recent refusal of the administration to turn over documents relating to potential conflicts of interest and to ties with Russia.

Most importantly, of course are the headline-making, ongoing accusations that an investigation of Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden was made specifically to harm the Biden campaign for President.

In the meanwhile, as the Democrats pursue their impeachment agenda while not yet sure of what, if any, impeachable offense has been committed, we have real world presidential performance results as related by Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs at the U.S. Treasury Department Monica Crowley yesterday to Breitbart News.

According to Crowley: “President Donald Trump’s ‘economic freedom agenda’ has sparked the highly successful economic growth that has now led to the lowest unemployment rate in half a century.

“Since the president’s election in November 2016, the economy has added more than 7 million jobs,” Crowley said. “This is more than the entire population of Massachusetts last year. It’s also 5.1 million more jobs than the Congressional Budget Office, CBO, projected in its final forecast before the 2016 election. What it shows is common sense economic policies based on freedom work. Tax cuts, deregulation, unleashing the energy sector, and trying to realign international trade—all of which this president promised during the campaign, all of which he has delivered. That, in turn, is delivering us this incredible economy.”

Perhaps more importantly than the job growth and historic lows in unemployment is that in November wages rose by 3.1 percent over the last 12 months as well. That means Americans not only have better prospects of finding employment when they want to, but they’re taking home more money when they do find that job. What’s more, among working class and blue collar workers, wages rose at 3.7 percent—higher than the average worker—which means Trump’s economy is helping the very people he set out to help when he launched his 2016 presidential campaign by pledging to stand up for American workers and families left behind by the nation’s elites.”

All of which leads to the actuality that, despite what’s being propagandized by the leftist media, voters have personal priorities far outweighing the political agenda of a relatively small cadre of irrational zealots. Bringing up the most important question of all for me today: Who’s out there to continue the legacy five years from now when Trump’s second term in office ultimately comes to a close?

That’s it for today folks.

Had a couple of random thoughts about the current Democrat predicament and the fact that Nancy Pelosi in particular is using it for personal gain (as usual.)

If one takes a step back and takes a calm, rational, politically-unbiased look at today’s Democrat party, it seems quite obvious that the party not only has no chance of winning the upcoming presidential election but is also likely irreparably split. On one side are the traditional social-minded moderates and on the other the renegade, barely-rational, hard-core left. And Nancy Pelosi, certainly better than most, is painfully aware of what’s happened during her watch creating the problem of how to put her constituency back together again. A task that’s likely impossible to accomplish.

Facing that dilemma, her extraordinary political senses likely alerted to the fact that she had the perfect patsy sitting right in front of her in the form of Adam Schiff. Here’s a guy who fits Albert Einstein’s definition of insanity to perfection as Schiff keeps doing the same things over and over expecting different results.

Here’s a recap, compiled by Rush on November 1st of attempts taken to unseat Trump to date:

“Russian election collusion –” big zero. “– porn star payoffs, income tax evasion, obstruction of justice, the Emoluments Clause, the 25th Amendment, the Charlottesville rally, the two Michaels (Avenatti and Cohen), Deutsche Bank, Alfa-Bank, and Orange Man Bad — Representative Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) finally has Trump dead-to-rights: A quid pro quo without the quid, the pro, or the quo.”

“Now, that paragraph recounts everything they’ve tried that has blown up on them. There was no Russian collusion. Stormy Daniels effort to get rid of Trump bombed. Then they said he evaded income tax payments and they got the Southern District of New York and the Manhattan DA on it. Big, fat zero. Obstruction of justice, big, fat zero. The Emoluments Clause, big, fat zero, 25th Amendment, gonna wear a wire, get Trump proving he’s insane, cabinet has to get rid of him, bombed. The Charlottesville rally where they said Trump was sympathetic to neo-Nazis, bombed!

“Michael Avenatti with Stormy Daniels. Avenatti was gonna be the Democrat nominee, he was so hot! Then Michael Cohen. Remember all of these things? All of these things were treated exactly like the phone call with the president of Ukraine’s been treated. It’s my point. Every one of these things — the Russia collusion, Plan A. Porn star payoff, Plan B. Income tax evasion, Plan C. Obstruction of justice, Plan D. Emoluments clause, Plan E. The 25th Amendment, Plan F. Charlottesville, Plan G…and so on.

“Every one of them has failed, and every one of them was treated like a breathless bit of breaking news when they happen — and every one of them, we were told, “This it! The walls are closing in! Donald Trump’s done! Donald Trump has committed perjury! Donald Trump colluded with Russia! Donald Trump didn’t pay his taxes! Donald Trump’s insane!” It’s wearing everybody out. Now we’ve got, “Donald Trump quid pro quo phone call with the president of Ukraine,” and it’s all treated exactly the same. As one bombs out, they implement the next one!”

Presently, there’s little doubt that the constituency that elected Trump in the first place is not only unfettered by the Democrat panicked lunacy, but has more than likely grown due to his remarkably successful track-record in office. And as the upcoming election nears, while Schiff’s delusions of implication repeatedly evaporate, Speaker Pelosi will need someone to blame for her party’s disintegration. And who better than Schiff himself.

Meaning that in one fell swoop, as she proclaims that Schiff disappointed her with his failures along with everyone else because he’d bamboozled her too, she’ll watch him fade into the woodwork as he takes the lunatic fringe (Cortez et al, included) with him. While Nancy herself remains unfettered by the disastrous results.

That’s it for today folks.

Constant pounding from leftist controlled media regarding demands for presidential impeachment, forced me to my keyboard this morning. The objective was, performing some simple arithmetic.

To begin, according to University of Virginia's Center for Politics on July 13, 2018: “Overall, 40 percent of voters in 31 party registration states are Democrats, 29 percent are Republicans, and 28 percent are independents.”

Thus, simple arithmetic shows that 60% of all voters aren’t even Democrats. Additionally, “a 2015 Gallup annual average based on January through December 2015 as part of Gallup's monthly Gallup Poll Social Series surveys found a record 45% of Democrats identify as liberals.”

Therefore, if what Gallup found was true and only half of the Democrat party lean extremely left, then a logical assumption is there are only 20% of potential voters comprising the overall leftist base.

However, beyond what the mainstream media is trying to sell to the actually quite small group comprising what’s now referred to as “Never-Trumper’s” in their constant focus on nothing but Trump impeachment, here are some real-world numbers illustrating the challenge they’re truly facing.

Heritage Foundation reports this morning: “These numbers are blockbusters. Just since Donald Trump took office, Median Family Incomes are up over $4,100. In 8 years under President Obama, they only went up $1000. In one third the time, President Trump has increased incomes 4 times as much, and that doesn’t even include the almost $2000 that the families got from the Trump Tax Cut.” Stephen Moore, Freedomworks That means $5000 to $6000 more in disposable yearly income that Americans have right now because of President Trump!"

And then, back on Friday September 6, Chris Isidore reported on CNN Business: “Black unemployment fell to a record low in August, helped by a jump in the number of black women on the job.

“The unemployment rate for black workers fell to 5.5% from 6%, according to the Labor Department data. The previous record low of 5.9% was set in May 2018.

“The unemployment rate for black women fell to a record 4.4% from 5.2% in July. The unemployment rate for black men crept up to 5.9% from 5.8%. But the previous month's rate was a record, so the rate is still near its historic low.”

At the same time: “Unemployment among workers who identify themselves as Hispanic or Latino also fell in August to 4.2%, which matched a record low set earlier this year.

“Minority unemployment has been tracked by the Labor Department since the early 1970's. Both black and Hispanic or Latino unemployment numbers have traditionally been higher than white unemployment, and it remains so today. White unemployment was 3.4% in August, up from 3.3% previously. But this is the smallest gap on record between the respective unemployment rates for blacks and whites.”

Thus it seems the simplest question is that if the nation’s economy and its workers across the board in particular are doing better personally better that ever in history, does any rational human being among those involved really care about what the one responsible for the huge improvement may or may not have said in a recorded phone call with a foreign leader who brought up the subject himself?

That’s it for today folks,

Yesterday’s entry sought to memorialize a significant, if not terminal, step by the Democrat party toward it’s self-destruction. Although the entry described the circumstances involved in the party’s demise, it stopped short of presenting the reasons for its current case of dissociative panic. Thus, it seems that some explanations ought be helpful.

Mr. Goodwin touched on the subject yesterday, writing: “In short, Pelosi just changed everything. The next election is now about impeachment.” The purpose was to present only the circumstance, not necessarily the discussion of the underlying cause. However, while the cause is actually quite simple it goes beyond today’s Democrat panic and applies to many, if not the majority, of Republicans as well.

Because, what the POTUS has made crystal clear from the start is the tremendous chasm between politicking and real-world performance.

For today’s politicians, particularly those on the left, it matters not whether campaign promises can ever be fulfilled. The sound of the magnitude of the benefits overrides any and all practical realities. For those on the left, rarely if ever has a promise been kept. Nonetheless, an occasional fiasco such as Obamacare does take shape, providing evidence that politics and reality are generally diametrically opposed.

Trump, on the other hand comes from a world where if one’s promises go unfulfilled the loss is immediate, perhaps professionally terminal and most often quickly satisfied by an alternative provider. Therefore, Trump and most other typical business types don’t waste their time, or that of others, rambling on about pie in the sky. Presenting instead solutions that they can readily deliver.

And that’s where the left is stymied whereas for them, campaigning is comprised of out-promising one another without an iota of consideration or care of eventual fulfillment.

While establishing a different point yesterday, Rush once again provided the wherewithal for the premise as he said: “[The left] can take out any Republican they want any day they choose to. But they haven’t been able to even dent Trump. Now, they’ve been able to put roadblocks in the way of his agenda, but he still gets up every day and he’s still tweeting and he’s still taking on the media and he’s not affected by what they’re doing. Most Republicans cower in fear and resign and beg to be ignored, promise to never do it again. Trump just keeps hitting back. They are literally stymied by their failure to get rid of the guy.

“They can’t believe that he won. They can’t believe that Hillary lost. They can’t believe that Mueller didn’t find something. They can’t believe they couldn’t prove collusion. They can’t believe Kavanaugh got confirmed. They can’t believe the unemployment numbers are as good as they are. They can’t believe the economy is roaring the way it is. They can’t believe that everything they are proposing is bombing. They cannot believe they haven’t been able to take out Trump.”

Bringing us back to today’s observation. While the left, and most other politicians, deploy all their efforts in seeking the verbiage that will insure their opponents demise a business-oriented producer like Trump simply dwells on continued deliverance of customer satisfaction.

That’s it for today folks.
