While Mother Nature herself continues to refute overtly spurious claims of global-warming activists by burying much of the nation in snow and sub-freezing temps, the veracity of the EPA as an agency may now be coming into question.

According to Chris Stirewalt’s column in Fox News on-line: “The massive fraud of former Environmental Protection Agency climate expert John Beale is raising questions from Congressional investigators over the agency’s handling of the case. Beale will face sentencing this week for bilking the agency out of a million dollars and other benefits for the better part of a decade while claiming he was working with the CIA. Sentencing memos obtained by NBC News are providing new insights into the extent of the fraud and the failings of the EPA. The memos reveal the agency “enabled” Beale by failing to corroborate any of his false claims.”

So, here we have a case vividly representative of the entire administration and its appointees tendencies to fabricate data specifically to serve themselves. Which means that folks better watch out. Because, who knows, the next thing we know we might be told that if we like our doc’s or current healthcare plan, we can keep both.

However, despite all the speeches, rhetoric and time the administration devotes to trying to talk its way out of the false information, untruths and outright deceptions continually spewed, the general public public seems to be finally waking up. At least as far as TV news-seekers are concerned.

Variety on-line via Drudge reports that: “Fox News Channel maintained its grip on the cable-news network ratings prize in 2013, drawing more viewers than the combined averages of CNN, MSNBC and HLN.

It was a down year in terms of overall audience, as every newsie but HLN showed primetime declines from their Presidential Election-driven tallies of 2012.’'

The actual numbers are as follows: “According to Nielsen data through Dec. 8, Fox News Channel averaged 1.774 million viewers in primetime (down 13% from 2012) and 297,000 adults 25-54 (down 30%). It was followed by MSNBC with 645,000 viewers and 203,000 adults 25-54 (down 29% in both); CNN with 578,000 (down 15%) and 187,000 adults 25-54 (down 16%); and HLN with 403,000 total viewer (up 21%) and 142,000 in the demo (up 27%.)

Thus, what the statistics indicate is that slowly but surely more viewers are realizing that although Fox might have a slant to the right, the networks still preferable to all others. And, at the same time, agencies such as the EPA, IRS and Justice Department are being frequently exposed as frauds and prevaricators.

However, the biggest hurdles the administration now faces aren’t just the lies and distortions it expounds, but the ugly truths that indicate its total incompetence and inability from the bottom all the way to the very top.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
