With 10 days remaining until his inauguration, yesterday PEOTUS Trump achieved several extraordinarily helpful accomplishments for his coming presidency.

The first is a double-barreled win whereas, as reported by Tonya Garcia @marketwatch.com, Amazon said it will create more than 100,000 full-time, full-benefit jobs across the U.S. over the next 18 months.

Growing the company’s full-time workforce from 180,000 in 2016 to more than 280,000 by mid-2018, the new jobs will be nationwide and include positions from software developers and engineers to entry-level positions. Most will be in fulfillment centers currently under construction in Texas, California and New Jersey.

Magnifying the impact of the positive indications for Trump is that Amazon’s owner is Jeff Bezos who also happens to own the left-leaning, hyper-critical Washington Post newspaper, purchased in 2013.

Then, another event occurred which may provide immeasurable benefits to Trump well-on into the future. That’s because another over-eager left-leaning, anti-Trump media outlet, Buzzfeed, published a salacious, unsubstantiated, and likely false dossier of lurid accusations against him. As a result, along with a complicit CNN, the two have hurt the media’s ability to hold the new administration accountable in future.

Although the liberal website published 35 pages of memos Tuesday evening that accuse Trump of numerous misdeeds, even its own editor said, “there is serious reason to doubt the allegations.”

At the same time, numerous reports say the anonymous charges were the product of opposition research paid for by Trump’s Republican opponents, with the payments then continued by Hillary Clinton supporters.

Politico too, piled on despite declaring the allegations unsubstantiated, while seeming to believe, or hope, that they would unravel the Trump presidency. Politico’s “Playbook” actually reported Wednesday that Trump was unlikely to quit , however, the negatively aimed paragraph was carefully worded to appear as if Trump was considering resignation as a possibility:
DONALD TRUMP IS GOING TO BECOME THE PRESIDENT IN NINE DAYS. Unless he steps down — extraordinarily unlikely — short of impeachment, there is no mechanism we’ve heard of to strip him of the job. There’s also no movement among Republicans to prevent him from taking the White House.
Additional depth on the matter came from Michael Goodwin @nypost.com, who wrote: “Once upon a time, it was a good thing to be scooped on a bad story. And ask yourself this: Would the Times and Washington Post make the same decision if the unverified allegations were about PresidentBarack Obama or Hillary Clinton? Of course not, so their rabid anti-Trump agenda still distorts their decision-making.

“Which brings us to the most troubling aspect of all — the role of the CIA, FBI and other intelligence agencies in the sordid affair. Trump has been feuding with them for months and plans a shakeup of the sprawling intelligence apparatus.

“In that context, Sen. Chuck Schumer recently warned him, “You take on the intelligence agencies — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”

"Is that what just happened here? Was the next president the target of our own spooks?”

Thus, by adding another layer of speculation to an already highly questionable attempt to defame and degrade the incoming POTUS, Mr. Goodwin illustrates how leftists in the MSM are seriously undermining their own credibility, which is all they have to offer an already suspicious public.

Then, Joel B. Pollak, Senior Editor-at-Large @breitbart.com, took the issue even further, writing: “The net result is that CNN and Buzzfeed have destroyed whatever residual confidence the public might have had in the media. And they have done so with just days to go before the start of a presidency that looks set to continue in the “strong executive” tradition of its two predecessors.

“If there were ever a time for the media to repair their damaged credibility, this was it. Now, in the hypothetical case the media ever find something truly worrying about Donald Trump, few people will believe them.”

Which brings us back to today’s major point that by fabricating and manipulating “news,” narrow-minded, none-too-bright journalists have not only critically damaged their own credibility, they’ve inadvertently elevated Trump immeasurably in the process.

That point was bolstered at yesterday’s news conference where the PEOTUS completely denied the charges, repeating those denials in response to numerous questions. To the extent that by the end he’d managed to turn the spotlight away from himself and on to the lack of integrity in both the media and government intelligence agencies — where it also belongs.

Leading Mr. Pollak to conclude: “That was no mean feat, and his performance was a reminder that Trump is not and never will be a pushover. He fights fire with fire and is getting increasingly more disciplined in making his case.”

And what was most interesting, considering the number of high-powered left-leaning journalists in the room, not a word about Obama’s farewell speech was mentioned at all.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
