According to Dave Boyer @washingtontimes.com: “President Obama hopes to make gun control the top issue of his final year in office, saying Americans aren’t more violent than other people but they “have more deadly weapons to act out their rage.

“In an interview published Tuesday in GQ magazine, Mr. Obama said easy access to guns is “the only variable” between the U.S. and other developed countries.”

After reading about the POTUS’s  final objective in office, stripping citizens of their constitutionally granted right to bear arms, take a step back and consider the bigger picture.

While leaving the borders open, permitting virtually anyone, friend or foe to easily enter the nation from Mexico unbridled, the POTUS is pushing to permit 10,000 or more Syrians to come here ASAP. Government officials claiming they’ll be carefully vetted. This from an administration that can’t even keep drunken lunatics out of the Secret Service that guards the president.

And then when these aliens do arrive, illegally or not, he wants the American population unarmed and unable to defend themselves in the event that the immigrant's goal is truly hostile.

As far as national security is concerned, At least one Syrian refugee that was in the process of resettling in the Baton Rouge area has already gone missing, according to a report by WBRZ.

In that case, yesterday according to Major Doug Cain of the Louisiana State Police, Louisiana state officials heard about the missing Syrian from the media, and not the Obama administration.

The major said:

“Louisiana State Police contacted the charity organized that originally resettled the Syrian refugee in Baton Rouge and were told that the individual has been settled with a family out of state. According to the charity, the individual is not missing, but has been resettled outside of Louisiana. It is unfortunate and potentially dangerous that the federal government will not work with state authorities and we have to hear reports of refugee resettlement from the media. Governor Jindal has demanded that President Obama give state authorities more information on this program and has directed the State Police and state agencies to use all available measures to prevent the resettlement of refugees in Louisiana.”

At the same time, there still is no credible plan to curtail ISIS, or prevent Iran from developing nuclear weaponry. Add to that the continued push to release suspected terrorists from Gitmo. One of whom, after release from detention in 2009, is currently heading ISIS.

Therefore, putting this broader spectrum together truly makes one wonder what the POUTS, and his party’s ultimate goal is. And unfortunately for the rest of us, there isn’t any rational scenario that’s good for the United States of America, its traditional dedicated citizens, and their nation's ultimate security.

Similarly, a friend, using the handle “justassking” sent the following yesterday afternoon.

“Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

“That pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century. Makes you wonder who is doing the math.”

And then: “These four , short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.

Funny how that works.

And here's another one worth considering.

2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money.  But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money! What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.

Think about it....

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.

4. Conservative Judges must follow the rule of law when reaching a decision, However, Liberal leaning Judges are never held to the same standard.

Am I the only one missing something?”

Another  friend posted this on FB this morning.

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

According to FoxNews.com, Bernie Sanders told Yahoo News’ Katie Couric in an interview when asked his opinion about Bill’s wife’s remarks about her Wall Street stance during Saturday’s debate that: “I wouldn’t use the word offensive, I found them a little bit silly, a bit absurd.”

The issue was what impact did the fact that she has received huge amounts of funding from Wall Street have on her attitude towards Wall Street.

When asked about her hefty Wall Street-backed speaking fees and donations, Clinton defended her independence in being able to pursue financial industry reform. Sanders shot back, “Not good enough. Let's not be naive about it. Why …has Wall Street been the major campaign contributor to Hillary Clinton? You know, maybe they're dumb and they don't know what they're going to get, but I don't think so.”

“Clinton responded to Sanders’ criticism of her Wall Street donations by saying that as a New York senator, she helped “rebuild” Wall Street after 9/11.

However, “Sanders later told Couric that Clinton’s position on Wall Street had nothing to do with 9/11.

“The truth is Hillary Clinton and all of us in Congress did everything that we could to rebuild New York City after the devastating attack but that has nothing to do with the question of the impact of Wall Street campaign contributions and her views on Wall Street.”

So, here we have for the first time, some aggressive pushback from the sadly misguided socialist. Unfortunately, though, almost nobody watched the debate outside of dedicated Democrat Kool Aid drinkers.

But, in any case, Sanders really doesn’t have to exert himself in trying to prevent Bill’s wife from gaining the presidency. Because the FBI is going to do it for him, when they have her doing the perp walk in handcuffs for breaching national security with her private email server when Secretary of State.

Which brings us to the ongoing question: Joe Biden, Mayor Bloomberg, Jerry Brown, and Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you reading this?

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
