William Kristol @weeklystandard.com summed up the nuclear program arrangement with Iran yesterday, which Mr. Kristol referred to as a “deal.” It’s possible, however, that he might not have used the appropriate word. “Deals” are supposed to benefit both parties, and in this case the only one receiving any reward is Iran.

Mr. Kristol wrote: “We have a deal. It's a deal worse than even we imagined possible. It's a deal that gives the Iranian regime $140b in return for ... effectively nothing: no dismantlement of Iran's nuclear program, no anytime/anywhere inspections, no curbs on Iran's ballistic missile program, no maintenance of the arms embargo, no halt to Iran's sponsorship of terror.”

Further detail, illustrating specific weaknesses in the giveaway, were found in an article on FoxNews.com, as follows:

“The deal includes a compromise between Washington and Tehran that would allow U.N. inspectors to press for visits to Iranian military sites as part of their monitoring duties. However, access at will to any site would not necessarily be granted and even if so, could be delayed, a condition that critics of the deal are sure to seize on as possibly giving Tehran time to cover any sign of non-compliance with its commitments.

"This is a significant step forward towards clarifying outstanding issues regarding Iran’s nuclear program," Yukiya Amano chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA  said in a statement released Tuesday. "It sets out a clear sequence of activities over the coming months, including the provision by Iran of explanations regarding outstanding issues."

Therefore, not only doesn’t Iran have to agree to inspections immediately, if ever, they now have months to provide “explanations regarding outstanding issues." Which means that it’s highly unlikely there will be any ramifications at all, because Iran will simply continue to stall as they have historically.

During the negotiation, mentions been made of Nobel prizes for the POTUS, and of course his sidekick Kerry. And, perhaps, Nobel’s should be awarded. But only if the category is vacuity. Because, they’ve not only thrown Saudi Arabia, Israel, Turkey and the rest of the Middle-East under the bus, they’ve given the vehicle’s keys to an Iranian driver.

Another article this one @washingtonpost.com included a comment from a reader about Bibi Netanyahu's obvious dismay at the agreement. Joe E wrote: “Relax, Bibi. If anything happens, Nancy Pelosi has standing orders to proceed to the nearest TV news crew where she will issue a prepared statement blaming everything on The Failed Foreign Policies of Both Bush Administrations.”

On another issue, in Chris Stirewalt’s column yesterday he wrote that, “While campaigning in New Hampshire this weekend Carly Fiorina touted her credentials as a former CEO of a technology company, and how her skills transfer to policy issues like immigration. Fiorina said, “For heaven’s sake, this is 2015. I’ve run the largest technology company in the world. Let me assure you we know how to build an employer verification system that would work. We can solve this. We just need to do it.”

The chord struck by Ms Fiorina’s mention of her credentials is that she’d make an excellent Vice President or head of the Department of Homeland Security. Her gaining either position would benefit the nation significantly.

On the other extreme, taking the nation backwards, an article @WaPo quoted Bernie Sanders, as follows: “He’s saying that America’s leaders shouldn’t worry so much about economic growth if that growth serves to enrich only the wealthiest Americans. Our economic goals have to be redistributing a significant amount of [wealth] back from the top 1 percent, Sanders said in a recent interview, even if that redistribution slows the economy overall.”

Sanders comment spurred the realization of just how far the left has taken the Founding Fathers original dream for the nation, attempting to create a communistic entity modeled on the failed former Soviet Union, or today’s Cuba.

Sander’s quote caused a search to recall what the Founding Fathers wished to create, and then accomplished, which is the American Dream, “a national ethos of the United States, a set of ideals in which freedom includes the opportunity for prosperity and success, and an upward social mobility for the family and children, achieved through hard work in a society with few barriers.”

And, had the American Dream not come true, Sanders and his band of similar losers and takers would have nothing to steal back and no one to steal it from. Again, just like Cuba.

At the same time, Bill Clinton’s wife is upset at those Republicans, like Carly Fiorina that believe immigration’s a problem.  Yesterday, Bill’s wife said, “It was appalling to hear Donald Trump describe immigrants as drug dealers, racists and criminals. He’s talking about people you and I know. He’s talking about people who love this country, work hard and want nothing more than a chance to build a better life for themselves and this country. I have just one word for Donald Trump: Basta! Enough!”

While Bill’s wife was excoriating Republican realists, a writer at @Wash Ex.com reported, “Some 276 ‘sanctuary cities,’ nearly 50 percent more than previously revealed, released over 8,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records or facing charges free despite federal requests that they be turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation, according to an explosive new report…those releases from cities that ignored federal demands came over just eight months and are just part of an even larger release of 17,000 illegals with criminal records.”

Then on Fox's  ‘The Kelly File’ last night, Kate Steinle’s brother [Brad] opened up about the tragic incident that took his sister’s life and also slammed the controversial sanctuary city policy…He also told Kelly that the policy of sanctuary cities is overreaching. He said it ‘essentially rolled out the red carpet for a convicted felon’ to come into the city.

“And unfortunately, because of the lack of structure and just the lack of people taking a stand for what’s right and getting things right, I think the system has failed my sister miserably.”

So much for sanctuary city's and open borders.

Mayor Bloomberg, and Joe Biden, are you reading  this?

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
