BloggeRhythms 1/2/2013

Gee, what a surprise! The dreaded fiscal cliff was avoided, everyone can breathe a sigh of relief.

As for me, I’ve believed all along that this hoax would play out with a last minute “deal.” D.C. has always worked that way and always will. But, the question now is, how can the Republicans maximize their win? Because although the mass media and all the Dem pundits will try to hype the cliff deal as a huge coup for the incumbent, if there’s any victory at all, which I doubt, it’s going to be very short-lived because the economics simply don’t work and cannot.

At the bottom line what’s happened is taxes have gone up on everyone who receives a paycheck. And the more they earn, the more folks get clipped. What that means is not only less spending money in the pockets of those who drive the economy, but businesses have less too, shrinking amounts for investment in payroll and growth.

So, just like everything else the Dem’s do, this deal was formulated and pushed for by financial dolts whose political base consists of the unemployed, unionized slackers, anti-business hangers-on and leeches, aimless students and teachers whose base knowledge and capabilities have been declining for the past forty years or more.

Consequently, the situation for Dems is like the old ad for auto transmissions where a mechanic exclaimed something like “you can pay me now or pay me later,” referring to folks who delayed getting their vehicles repaired. Because as far as the economy's concerned, after all the smoke clears it will be obvious that not only won’t there be growth, there might even be another recession. And this time around, the place for blame is more than obvious. It’s clearly the Dem’s that continue the muck-up, starting from the top in the White House in particular.

So, what’s needed now on the Republican side is nothing more than some patience, with a few reminders here and there as to why the economy’s still a wreck. And although Mitt Romney refused to get tough and push a hard line that would have gotten him elected, it almost doesn’t matter who takes his place next time. Because the Dem’s are going to destroy themselves without very much help at all, due to incredible financial ignorance and no fiscal acumen or caring whatsoever.

That's it for today folks.

Adios
