BloggeRhythms

Today’s another amid the quandary of what could be referred to as average American citizens. The probable huge majority of voters are still presently contained by rules they readily accept while a small minority of politicians who captured the White House for all the wrong reasons ruins their lives.

The southern border remains uncontrollably porous, crime has reached enormous proportions as inflation approaches 10% while the pandemic still rages on. All of which has taken place intentionally since the start of the far-left influenced Biden administration.

At the same time, newsmax.com reports that: “Former President Donald Trump on Thursday repeated his claim that former CNN President Jeff Zucker's resignation had little to do with "concealing a relationship."

"Jeff Zucker is not out at CNN for 'concealing a relationship' as the Fake New York Times writes on its front page headline," Trump said in a statement released by his Save America joint fundraising committee.

"Zucker is happy and proud (and lucky!) that he can have a relationship. He is out because of horrible ratings down 90%, an all-time low!"

Zucker announced his resignation Wednesday after revealing he had a relationship with a senior network executive.

Trump on Wednesday said Zucker's resignation from CNN offered an opportunity "to put Fake News in the backseat."

"Now is a chance to put Fake News in the backseat because there may not be anything more important than straightening out the horrendous LameStream Media in our Country, and in the case of CNN, throughout the World. Jeff Zucker is gone—congratulations to all!"

The above is mentioned not because of any importance granted to CNN as an outlet for news, but as another reflection of most in the nation turning away from what the far-left says or does.

Similarly, Barbara Kollmeyer @marketwatch.com writes that “Carsten Fritsch, commodity analyst at Commerzbank, in a note to clients said Commerzbank is lifting its Brent forecast for this year to $90 per barrel in the current quarter from $80. “This is due to the steep rise in the risk premium on account of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which is only likely to diminish gradually. For this reason, we expect the oil price to be still elevated in the second quarter at $85 (previous forecast: $75),” he said, in a note to clients.

“Stronger-than-expected demand, expected to regain its pre-pandemic level by midyear at the latest, is also a key reason. “What is more, OPEC+ has been unable for months to fully implement the agreed production hikes,” he said. “

So, compiling the self-inflicted misery of the nation’s current performance along with evident major dissatisfaction with leftist media reportage, brings us back to the continuing question of what can be done to return the U.S. to normalcy. There are no current answers here, however it brings this writer back once more to Rush’s theoretical premise of December 10, 2020, when he said:  “I actually think that we’re trending toward secession. I see more and more people asking what in the world do we have in common with the people who live in, say, New York? What is there that makes us believe that there is enough of us there to even have a chance at winning New York, especially if you’re talking about votes.

“A lot of bloggers have written extensively about how distant and separated and how much more separated our culture is becoming politically and that it can’t go on this way. There cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life, theories of government, theories of how we manage our affairs. We can’t be in this dire a conflict without something giving somewhere along the way.

“I know that there’s a sizable and growing sentiment for people who believe that that is where we’re headed whether we want to or not. Whether we want to go there or not. I, myself, haven’t made up my mind. I still haven’t given up the idea that we are the majority and that all we have to do is find a way to unite and win.”

While this may be the third or fourth time recently that Rush’s premise has been mentioned, it grows in significance on a virtually daily basis, simply because as Rush projected, “There cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life, theories of government, theories of how we manage our affairs. We can’t be in this dire a conflict without something giving somewhere along the way.”

Once again, something to think about.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
