Whatever one’s feeling toward Donald Trump, his address to the Conservative Political Action Conferences was much like one having crawled across a desert for a prolonged period and suddenly coming across an oasis and fresh water.

Oddly enough, his delivery to CPAC wasn’t particularly political but instead, practicality and the simplest common sense. For example, he lamented “While Russia is facing NATO opposition to its invasion of Ukraine, Biden administration climate czar John Kerry is talking about "global warming," according to Eric Mack @newsmax.com.

His telling the crowd, "We have a world that's ready to blow up and disintegrate over energy, and he's talking about global warming. The oceans may rise over the next 300 years about one-hundredth of an inch,” was like reading one’s own words, posted here on countless occasions over the years.

"He's not thinking about the nuclear warming," Trump added, regarding Kerry. "He's thinking about other types of warming. These people are not living in a world of reality."

And then, in a relatively brief paragraph, the former president summed up the cause, effect and entire rationale for the nation’s current condition. Placing the blame precisely where it belongs regarding strangling inflation and spiraling, uncontrollable financial burdens now borne across the economy.

Denouncing Biden’s destroying energy independence and emboldening Vladimir Putin to invade Ukraine, Trump said: “Unbelievably, Biden is now claiming that you must sacrifice through higher energy prices to foot the cost of his failed foreign policy in Europe. But in reality, the reason we have soaring gas prices is that Biden shut down American Energy, canceled our oil and gas leases, and canceled the Keystone XL Pipeline, while he enriched Putin by approving the Russian pipeline, which I had shut down and blocked."

That too, is factual reality mentioned here frequently while leftist leaders dodge, weave and mislead the public consistently as they avoid addressing the true costs and harm to the economy stemming from socialist philosophy.

Then, still employing the simplest of presentation, Trump summarized world conditions resultant of political policy and its ramifications, saying: “With Biden, you get a war in Europe, and a war on American Energy. With Republicans, you get energy independence, and energy dominance." It’s as fundamental as that.

In closing, he most importantly delivered hope for the future, saying "We will reclaim our status as the No. 1 energy superpower on the face of the earth, something that I had achieved for the first time in 72 years."

Calling for the end of Biden's buying of Russian oil, Trump went on "We should not be buying Russian energy but rather allow the people of our country to start producing like they did just one year ago. This will drive prices down, make war more difficult, and greatly lower the inflation that is ravaging our country."

What struck most vividly here is that when campaigning, Biden pledged to quickly cure Covid, immediately reinvigorate the economy, and reopen schools among myriad other promises. What he actually did upon inauguration was to immediately cancel the Keystone pipeline along with drilling on vast Federal properties while taking opposite positions to any and all things even remotely endorsed by Trump. Regarding Covid, finally admitting failure, he ultimately turned responsibility back to respective state governors.

By comparison, the nation now sees the effects of the weakest administration in its history, taken advantage of by Putin as a result, compared to the proven record of Trump who successfully fulfilled every promise, including energy independence and the world’s strongest economy, along with global peace and security.

Thus, disregarding one’s personal feelings about individuals, but simply considering results of comparative administrative approaches to date, how can Trump’s far superior performance in office be disputed by anyone?

That’s it for today folks.

Adios

PS: Putin walks into a  bar with a duck under his arm.

The bartender, a Bronx Congresswoman who slings beers on weekends for tips, asks Putin: "Where'd you get the filthy, self-serving Communist pig?"

Putin says: "This is a duck."

The bartender says: "I was talking to the duck."
