BloggeRhythms

A CNN clip found on Facebook this morning shows Congressman Adam Schiff saying: “If the US works with Putin on election hacking, we might as well just mail our ballot boxes to Moscow.”

A reader, Jasonn Glass, who actually uses the brains he was born with, commented: “This is cold war nonsense. How exactly did Russia alter votes? And how did Clinton win the popular vote by 3,000,000 if Russia altered vote counts?”

Reader Francis Rodd added: “NYC Mayor De Blasio goes to Germany to side with Communists rioting at the G20, but Trump is unstable????”

Paul Miller quoted Obama from August 2016 when he said: “the us was not hacked, it is impossible to change an outcome. Once again fake news cnn”

As far as De Blasio’s concerned, Fox News Channel’s “Justice” host Jeanine Pirro delivered a message on Facebook yesterday to law enforcement members regarding his skipping a police ceremony this week to protest the G20 Summit in Germany.

“My message to you is do unto others as they do unto you. Do exactly what you did after the deaths of [New York City Police officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos]. Turn your backs on this anti-Trump, leftist, socialist, cop hating mayor. Do it for me,” she said.

On the same subject, while Trump critics and members of the media claimed 17 intelligence agencies were in agreement about the Russian allegations, breitbart.com’s Jeff Poor writes that James Clapper “told CNN “Situation Room” fill-in host Jim Sciutto the real number was three or four and that he did not know how that “narrative” of 17 agencies got out there.”

Former director of national intelligence Clapper said: “When then president-elect Trump was briefed on this on the 6th of January, there were four of us — meaning the directors of NSA, FBI and CIA and myself. That’s all. And we explained who did the report.

“So how this narrative got out there about 17 components being involved, I don’t know. But the report itself makes it clear that it was the three agencies plus the Office of the Director of National Intelligence that put this intelligence community assessment together.

“As far as others doing this, boy, that’s news to me. We saw no evidence whatsoever there was other — there was anyone involved in this other than the Russians.

“And so, yes, it’s true; that was a big mistake. But we have learned from it and inserted — the intelligence community has, I should say — injected a lot of safeguards to prevent that from ever happening again.”

Thus, what’s happening is that slowly but surely falsities and rumor mongering are coming into question. Particularly because the public now has access to ever-increasing sources of information. Furthermore, that same public is now able to communicate amongst themselves, giving them the power to group and act together. And that capability can be seen in the following article by Warner Todd Huston @breitbart.com today.

Huston reports: “Supply and shipping industry journal SupplyChainDive.com reported that a group of sub-contractors, who bid for and won work as drivers and distributors, are filing a class action lawsuit over Kellogg’s new business plan, dubbed “Special K.” The lawsuit will charge the breakfast food giant with a breach of contract, wrongful termination of contracts, and lack of fair dealing, an attorney’s letter said.”

What's happening is Kellogg’s is cutting back and reorganizing its distribution operation, most likely due to continual sales shrinkage. The company has “already laid off thousands of workers over the last two months. To name a few, almost 500 were fired in North Carolina, nearly 300 were fired in facilities in New York, and another 219 lost their jobs in Minnesota. Still another 500 were laid off in Pennsylvania.”

The company's troubles began when it pulled advertising from the popular Breitbart news site last November. Because as  company spokesperson Kris Charles said “Breitbart News and its 45 million readers “aren’t aligned with” the cereal maker’s “values as a company.”

“The move prompted Breitbart News to launch its #DumpKelloggs petition, which has been signed by more than 431,000 people.

“Kellogg’s attack on readers of Breitbart News also came amid widespread allegations of racism toward its factory workers and profiting from the use of child labor.

“It was also reported that Kellogg’s politically-motivated nonprofit has close ties to radical anti-American billionaire George Soros, hate group Black Lives Matter, and deceased Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

The thoughts of most readers are echoed in the following example from Fleetwood Factor who commented: “Sorry about the people caught in the middle of this by losing their jobs, but I stopped buying Kellogg's products as soon as they insulted me. I am purchasing my breakfast foods from another American manufacturer. Still keeping Americans working - just not at Kellogg's.”

Which seems a clear indication of the risks taken in today’s world when public opinion is ignored or given short-thrift by business management's that think they know better.

On another favorite subject, according to James Delingpole @breitbart.com: “Greenland just broke the record for the coldest July day ever recorded in the Northern Hemisphere at -33C.

“Almost all Greenland’s surface is gaining ice.”

Reader Patrick Leary commented: “Climate change is the biggest criminal scheme ever conceived. There is more proof of the Easter Bunny and Barack Obama being born in Hawaii.”

Klem added: “Liberals are so stuck in their ideology they will never accept that a carbon tax can't change the weather.

“Thank God Trump pulled the US out of the Paris Climate scam.”

And then, another breitbart.com item on the subject today comes from Penny Starr who writes about a Yale University report titled “Climate Change in the American Mind.”

Included statistics show that: “Four in 10 Americans — or 39 percent — think the odds for human extinction because of climate change or global warming are 50 percent or more. But the majority of Americans, or 58 percent, think the odds of human extinction because of climate change is less than 50 percent, revealing that climate change is not a topic of universal agreement in the United States.”

The reason for posting the item however is because of a readers comments, WhiteBluecollarRedneck who commented:

"Six in ten Americans think global warming is affecting weather"

"Six in ten Americans think global warming is caused by Trump.

"Six in ten Americans think Trump colluded with the Russians to win.

"Six in ten Americans think CNN, MSNBC and the MSM are real news.

"Six in ten Americans think Barack Obama is the greatest President ever.

"Six in ten Americans are dumber than a box of rocks. No offense to rocks.”

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
