BloggeRhythms 10/3/2012

After reading the news, I’m still in considerable confusion. Because, no matter matter what the subject is regarding the state of the nation, conditions are either bad, trending down or the worst they’ve been since Jimmy Carter, yet stories all over the place focus on tonight’s debate as being critical to the upcoming presidential election.

And except for the rising securities markets, which I wrote about yesterday as being good for Romney whereas I think major investors believe he’ll win the upcoming election, I don’t see anything, anywhere, not indicating the last four years have been a total disaster in every aspect of presidential decision-making there is.

So, I keep coming back to the same question I’ve been mentioning for weeks now: Exactly how stupid, uninformed or out of touch with what goes on around them every day do people have to be to not grasp that the Incumbent is likely the worst and most ill-equipped holder of presidential office the nation has ever seen? Because, by every measure, performance records in every aspect of national governance and decision-making bear that conclusion out.

What’s more, as far as debates are concerned, no one needs to tune in to know what’s going to be said by either candidate. Because I don’t think there’s a soul who isn’t deaf, blind or living in a cave in the Sierra’s that hasn’t heard for the last four years that every problem on earth is “W.” Bush’s fault. However, the Incumbent promised to fix them all from the outset, yet has done nothing but make them far worse.

On the other hand, the rivaling contender has demonstrably succeeded in every endeavor he’s taken on, which nothing said in debate can refute. So what’s the purpose of all the yapping and squawk?

Consequently, I always come back to my original thought. Since no words in the world can change the performance of both contenders to date, what possible value can any contrary words have? And whereas I truly think the answer is “none,” except for those in the nation too dumb to vote, I believe by now everyone else’s mind is long ago made up, so what is there to debate about?

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
