Today’s one where ludicrous obsessions of the leftist press are refuted by
actual events occurring simultaneously. The MSM's compulsive preoccupation to
disparage any and all actions of the POTUS is so great, however, that even the
vaunted Bob Woodward felt compelled to offer his guidance to them.
Pam Key writes@breitbart.com that: “Friday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward called out the media for “binge drinking the
anti-Trump Kool-Aid.”
Woodward said, “Stick to the reporting. Stick to the reporting. You have done
a great job. Of course, one of the realities here is that we’ve got an old
newspaper war going between The New York Times and The Washington Post. Some
very powerful stories. At the same time, I think it’s time to dial back a little
bit about because there are people around — certainly not you, certainly not the
reporters at the Post — who are kind of binge drinking the anti-Trump Kool-Aid.
And that is not going to work in journalism. Let the politicians have that binge
drinking.”
One of the media personalities in question seems to be Peggy Noonan
@wsj.com who certainly proves Woodward’s point about ‘'binge drinking
the anti-Trump Kool-Aid." On Thursday she wrote: “The president of the
United States has produced a building crisis that is unprecedented in our
history. The question, at bottom, is whether Donald Trump has demonstrated, in
his first four months, that he is unfit for the presidency—wholly unsuited in
terms of judgment, knowledge, mental capacity, personal stability. That epic
question is then broken down into discrete and specific questions: Did he
improperly attempt to interfere with an FBI criminal investigation, did his
presidential campaign collude with a foreign government, etc.
“But if Mr. Trump is truly unfit—if he has demonstrated already, so quickly,
that he cannot competently perform the role, and that his drama will only get
more dangerous and chaotic, how much time should pass to let him prove it? And
how dangerous will the proving get?”
From there, Noonan goes on to repeat and reiterate the same unfounded
innuendos and allegations the left’s been creating and recycling since Trump’s
inauguration day. Yet, not one shred of guilt of any kind’s been proven by her
or any other’s like herself.
In the real world, though, some very real happening are taking place that are
the complete reverse of the left’s reportage.
Yesterday, John Webber posted in News Politics
@dailydosepolitics.com that South Carolina Republican Trey Gowdy
is expected to become the next chairman of the House Oversight Committee,
replacing Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah.) late next month, “according to multiple
senior House Republicans.”
Gowdy would then “oversee the sensitive investigation into whether President
Donald Trump pressured the FBI to drop a federal investigation of his former
national security adviser, Michael Flynn.”
Most importantly, Gowdy”previously chaired the House Select Committee
on Benghazi and was an outspoken critic of the Obama administration. This time,
however, he’d be the top congressional watchdog for a Republican
presidency.”
While Gowdy’s appointment provides the opportunity to develop
properly handled investigations of several inquiry’s involving the POTUS, the
president himself was continuing his efforts toward the nation’s economic
improvement as he visits Saudi Arabia today.
David Martosko, US Political Editor for dailymail.com, along
with Scott Campbell and Dave Burke for Mailonline report that after a
6,700-mile flight the POTUS “was met with the pomp usually reserved for the
likes of a Papal welcome in South America.”
Trump received red carpet treatment on arrival, after which the Saudi King
presented him with the "kingdom's top civilian honor, the gold King Abdulaziz
medal, at the royal court.”
Details of his trip’s purpose were found in an article by Matthew
Martin, Vivian Nereim and Zainab Fattah @bloomberg.com:
“Saudi Arabia is set to enter into more than $50 billion of defense and
commercial deals with the U.S. on Saturday, the first day of President Donald
Trump’s visit to the kingdom.
Saudi Aramco will sign initial accords and joint-venture agreements valued at
about $50 billion with companies including General Electric Co., Schlumberger
Ltd. and Halliburton Co., Chief Executive Officer Amin Nasser told reporters in
Riyadh. These companies are “trying to expand their footprint in the kingdom by
expanding trade between the two sides,” he said.
“Many of us sitting on the table are overseeing substantial investments in
the United States,” Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih said. “Sabic has a big
platform with the acquisition of GE Plastics which they continue to build on.”
Other deals will be announced today, he said.
Thus, while the MSM pursues its irrational Trump-bashing, the
positive results of his efforts not only speak for themselves, but other
actualities have begun surfacing as well.
One occurred Thursday when “former Vice President Joe Biden smacked failed
2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton here at the Salt
Conference in Las Vegas on Thursday evening,” according to
FoxNews.com.
“Speaking to a packed ballroom at the Bellagio conference center on the Las
Vegas Strip, the former vice president, who himself declined to run for
president, said he believes Clinton was not the “correct” candidate, but he was.
“I never thought she was the correct candidate,” Biden said. “I thought I was
the correct candidate.”
“The audience erupted into applause.”
While Biden's being the "correct candidate" or not will remain
unknown into the future, if the left keeps hammering for investigations,
Clinton’s own suspected illegalities may reach front and center again.
As reported by Newsweek yesterday: “The killing of [Seth]
Rich has given rise to conspiracy theories in rightwing circles that Hillary
Clinton and the Democratic Party had Seth Rich killed allegedly because he was
the source of the DNC leaks. In August, WikiLeaks offered a $20,000 reward for
information leading to a conviction.”
Details come from Wikipedia: “Rich, 27, was shot
and killed on July 10, 2016, as he was walking home from a bar in Washington,
D.C. Police found him still in possession of his credit cards, wallet and phone,
and believe the murder was a botched robbery. On July 22, WikiLeaks released
44,053 emails and 17,761 attachments belonging to the DNC. Because Rich had
worked for the committee, people on the political right speculated that Rich had
been behind the leak, and that the DNC or Clinton may have arranged his murder.
The offer of a reward by WikiLeaks for information that helps solve the case,
and comments by WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, increased the speculation.
“At the time of his death, Rich was the Voter Expansion Data Director at the
DNC, where he had been employed for two years and had worked on a computer
application to help voters locate polling stations.”
Aside from where a Seth Rich investigation might lead regarding
Clinton culpability, another matter will more than likely gain future interest
if the left continues pressing for guilt in Trump/Russian election conspiring.
As reported on March 4th this year by Jerome Hudson @breitbart.com:
“Given the establishment media’s focus on the “scandal” surrounding President
Donald Trump and his administration’s contact with Russian officials, it is
worth reminding Americans of the revelations involving Hillary Clinton and the
Kremlin.”
According to the article: “Hillary Clinton approved the transfer of 20
percent of U.S. uranium to Russia and nine investors in the deal funneled $145
million to the Clinton Foundation.
“While Hillary Clinton’s State Department was one of eight agencies to review
and sign off on the transfer of 20 percent of U.S. uranium to Russia —
then-Secretary of State Clinton herself was the only agency head whose family
foundation received $145 million in donations from multiple people connected to
the uranium deal, as reported by the New York Times.”
At the very same time: “Former President Bill Clinton delivered a
speech in Moscow and received a $500,000 speaking fee from a Russian
government-connected bank, while his wife’s State Department was getting ready
to sign off on the transfer of 20 percent of U.S. uranium to Russia.”
However, the Clinton/Russian connection doesn’t stop there because “Hillary
Clinton’s campaign chairman’s Joule energy company bagged $35 million from
Putin’s Rusnano.”
“Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta
sat on the executive board of an energy company, Joule Unlimited, which received
millions from a Putin-connected Russian government fund. Podesta also owned
“75,000 common shares” in Joule Unlimited, which he had transferred to a holding
company called Leonidio LLC.
“Podesta also failed to fully disclose his position on Joule Unlimited’s
board of directors and include it in his federal financial disclosures, as
required by law, before he became President Obama’s senior adviser in January
2014.”
So, one has to wonder if those in the MSM do any research whatsoever before
publishing unfounded, innuendo-laden, drivel on subjects such as
Trump's involvement with Russia.
Because, long before Trump ever attempted a
presidential run, the Clinton machine was not only doing the very same thing
he’s being accused of, they and their associates were personally making millions
from it.
That’s it for today folks.
Adios
