While the POTUS and side-kick Kerry continue to push for support for their Iranian nuke deal, Amir Taheri @nypost.com wrote an article titled: “Iran publishes book on how to outwit US and destroy Israel” 

 

Mr. Taheri writes that, “While Secretary of State John Kerry and President Obama do their best to paper over the brutality of the Iranian regime and force through a nuclear agreement, Iran’s religious leader has another issue on his mind: The destruction of Israel. 

 

“Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has published a new book called “Palestine,” a 416-page screed against the Jewish state. A blurb on the back cover credits Khamenei as “The flagbearer of Jihad to liberate Jerusalem.” 

 

In the text, Khamenei labels Israel as “adou” and “doshman,” meaning “enemy” and “foe,” stating that the nation is a special case for three reasons. 

 

First, “is that it is a loyal “ally of the American Great Satan” and a key element in its “evil scheme” to dominate “the heartland of the Ummah.” 

 

Second, “is that Israel has waged war on Muslims on a number of occasions, thus becoming “a hostile infidel,” or “kaffir al-harbi.” 

 

Third, “Israel is a special case because it occupies Jerusalem, which Khamenei describes as “Islam’s third Holy City,” and that “one of his “most cherished wishes” is to one day pray in Jerusalem.

 

And finally, he delivers the real clincher: “Thanks to President Obama, the US has already distanced itself from Israel to a degree unimaginable a decade ago.” Which has been obvious to any American or Israeli that’s been paying the slightest attention since the POTUS’s first day in the Oval Office.  

 

On a similar subject, irrational policy making, FoxNews.com reports that, “President Obama will impose on Monday stricter limits than planned for greenhouse gas emissions from the nation’s power plants — requiring a 32 percent cut from the initial 30 percent — in what he says will no longer make climate change a problem for the next generation, as opponents plan to ask courts to put the rule on hold and states threaten not to comply.”

 

In this case, the POTUS is precisely correct for once. The next generation certainly won’t have a problem with “climate-change” because it doesn’t even exist at present. Therefore, if he really wants to insure that future citizens won’t be imperiled, he ought to spend a couple of trillion building defenses against vampires, ogre’s, the abdominal snowman and mermaids luring ships away.  

 

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife who on Friday was described by Mike Huckabee on FoxNews.com as suffering through what he called death by a thousand cuts as negative information keeps accumulating over the passage of time. 

 

Nonetheless, what may be even more problematical for her is that, according to Amy Chozick @nytimes.com today, “Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and his associates have begun to actively explore a possible presidential campaign, which would upend the Democratic field and deliver a direct threat to Hillary Rodham Clinton, several people who have spoken to Mr. Biden or his closest advisers say. 

 

“Mr. Biden’s advisers have started to reach out to Democratic leaders and donors who have not yet committed to Mrs. Clinton or who have grown concerned about what they see as her increasingly visible vulnerabilities as a candidate.”

 

Richard A. Harpootlian, a lawyer and Democratic donor in Columbia, S.C, summed the situation up succinctly, saying, “It’s not that we dislike Hillary, it’s that we want to win the White House. We have a better chance of doing that with somebody who is not going to have all the distractions of a Clinton campaign.”
