FoxNews.com’s Chris Stirewalt notes that “National Security Adviser Susan Rice’s reputation has taken another pasting for her claim that an American soldier accused of deserting his comrades on the battlefield “served with honor and distinction.”

Additionally, “an administration official told Time Magazine that Rice’s praise for the alleged collaborator was simply ‘taken a half-notch out of context’ and that Rice is a victim: “‘She sort of brings out this craziness in a certain crowd,” says one [a]dministration official… ‘I’m not here to suggest it’s because she’s a woman or a minority or what it is,’ the official continues. ‘But other principals in the national-security team don’t come under this kind of attack.’”

Now, I have no idea as to why other’s on the security team don’t come under attack, however, I also know why Rice does. And it isn't because she’s a woman or minority either. It’s simply because she’s a moron in a job that’s miles over her head and totally and unequivocally unqualified for the position she holds.

On another subject, John Kartch of Americans for Tax Reform writes today that, “It is worth reminding Americans of Obama’s broken pledge."

The pledge Mr. Kartch was referring to was made while the incumbent was campaigning for the office he holds, as follows: “I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.”

Further promises came on Oct. 3, 2008, when during a nationally televised Vice-Presidential debate in St. Louis candidate Joe Biden said: No one making less than $250,000 under Barack Obama’s plan will see one single penny of their tax raised whether it’s their capital gains tax, their income tax, investment tax, any tax.”

Then on ”Feb. 24, 2009, in an address to a joint session of Congress President Obama restated the promise in these forceful terms: If your family earns less than $250,000 a year, you will not see your taxes increased a single dime. I repeat: not one single dime.

Lastly, on “April 15, 2009, during a White House press briefing, spokesman Robert Gibbs was asked if Obama’s tax pledge applied “to the health care bill.”  Gibbs replied: The statement didn’t come with caveats.”

And then today, according to Mr. Kartch, “Four million American taxpayers will be forced to pay the Obamacare individual mandate non-compliance tax in 2016, according to a newly released analysis by the Congressional Budget Office.

The report, titled Payments of Penalties for Being Uninsured Under the Affordable Care Act: 2014 Update, includes a gingerly-worded reminder that Americans will be liable for the tax as part of their annual tax-filing process:

“Among the uninsured people subject to the penalty, many are expected to voluntarily report on their tax returns that they are uninsured and to pay the amount owed.”

As far as those facing the tax are concerned, “The CBO data also show that the overwhelming majority of those liable for the are part of low-to-middle income households, a clear violation of President Obama’s promise against “any form of tax increase” on Americans making less than $250,000 per year.”

So, as far as today’s concerned, one member of the administration told another untruth, likely because she’s simply stupid and irresponsible. On the other hand, the POTUS himself, along with his Veep, both of whom know better, told whoppers as well while campaigning.

All of which, I guess, goes to further prove that for this group, in order to get what they want the truth never matters at all and rarely, if ever, enters the equation.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
