It’s reported that: “President Obama will sit down for his first interview
with “Fox News Sunday” since being elected president.
An “exclusive” interview, by host Chris Wallace, will be the POTUS’s first on
Fox News Channel since 2014. Held at the University of Chicago, it will cover
a “range of topics including the 2016 election and the president’s legacy.”
Following the article, reader, 3rivershunter, wrote: “I hope Chris
Wallace understands that the American Citizenry wants solid, thought-provoking
questions.  We DO NOT want softball, per-agreed to, or long winded questions
with even longer winded answers.  We want answers to: The $ 20 trillion dollar
debt; the crushing EPA regulations killing our energy sector; why so much of
obama's resources are spent propping up illegal aliens instead of wounded
veterans.  Why is obama so disdainful of Christianity and why won't he say
Islamic Terrorism?
“MR. WALLACE, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE...DON'T LET US DOWN.”
While the reader certainly poses queries everyone would surely want to be
answered by the POTUS, here’s another subject, found this morning
@timesofisrael.com, in an article by editor, Stuart Winer that needs
some explanation.
According to to Mr. Winer, “Iran intends to produce the powerful explosive
Octogen for use in the warheads of its missiles to improve their “destructive
and penetration power,” Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein
Dehqan said yesterday.
“Octogen is used as an explosive in penetrating missile warheads and as a
solid rocket fuel — but is also employed as part of the detonator in an atomic
bomb.”
A report from the semi-official FARS news agency says: “Concurrently with its
efforts to increase the precision-striking power of its weapons systems, the
Defense Ministry has also paid attention to boosting the destructive and
penetration power of different weapons’ warheads and has put on its agenda the
acquisition of the technical know-how to produce Octogen explosive materials and
Octogen-based weapons”
This development is similar to threats made a few days ago, when Iranian
Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, “accused the United States and Western nations of
being untrustworthy, in comments to members of the cabinet and senior
parliamentary and judiciary figures in Tehran on Wednesday, FARS reported.”
At that time Khamenei said: “The Americans cannot be trusted and, in addition
to the Americans, certain other Western states are also the same; hence, we
should put trust in our own abilities and the US officials’ positions and
performance is also a confirmation of the same fact.”
Naturally: “Iran maintains that because it cannot develop nuclear weapons
under the deal, no missile is capable of carrying a nuclear weapon.”
As far as Wallace is concerned, he needn’t worry about asking hard questions
that might be upsetting. Because if it takes two years for the POTUS to return
again, the only subjects he’ll be interested in discussing will be his golf
swing and travel arrangements.
On this otherwise boringly slow news day, a story appeared on
FoxNews.com, co-written by Fox’s Garrett Tenney and The
Associated Press, regarding the upcoming New York state primary on April
19th.
The authors write: “The friendly reception Ted Cruz got in Wisconsin – where
he was boosted by the state’s governor and its influential conservative talk
show hosts – must seem like ages ago as the Texas senator faces a very different
scene in New York.”
A decidedly more hostile reception was received from shouting protesters
Wednesday in the Bronx,  telling him to “get out.” And reportedly, an event at a
high school was canceled after students wrote a letter to their principal
threatening to walk out if Cruz showed up.
"Ted Cruz has no business being in the Bronx, this is an immigrant
community,” one protester shouted.
Then: “Fewer than a hundred people showed up for a Cruz meet-and-greet at a
local restaurant in the Bronx – and front-runner Donald Trump, who got thumped
by Cruz in Wisconsin, was more than happy to play up Cruz’s political problems
with New Yorkers.”
However, that was what happened in the city: “Still, Cruz may have an
easier time in more Republican-leaning areas like Long Island or Upstate. The
Bronx is tough turf for any Republican, and Cruz was taking his campaign to
potentially more friendly territory on Thursday, north of Albany in Scotia,
N.Y.”
At the same time, “even if Trump holds his big lead in New York and snags
most of its delegates, well over a dozen states have yet to vote, including
delegate-rich California on June 7.”
“Cruz’s chances of at least holding Trump under the necessary 1,237 delegates
to clinch the nomination – in turn, triggering an open convention – only grew
after his Wisconsin win.
“But Cruz nevertheless claimed the Wisconsin results showed a “turning point”
in the race. His victory came after Trump suffered one of the most difficult
stretches of the campaign, including having to walk back a string of varying
statements on his abortion position.
“We've beaten Trump over and over again,” Cruz said Wednesday.
Thus, while New York is often flaunted as being a major electoral factor,
because of its national image, in this years race it looks like its voting
results really won’t matter very much.
Bringing us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.
As reported on FoxNews.com: “The Democratic presidential race is
getting uglier — pulling other party leaders into the fray — as Sen. Bernie
Sanders lashed out at front-running rival Hillary Clinton as "not qualified" to
be president because of "special-interest" contributions to her super PAC.
"She has been saying lately that she thinks that I am quote-unquote not
qualified to be president," Sanders told a crowd of more than 10,000 people
Wednesday at Temple University's Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. "I don't
believe that she is qualified if she is, through her super PAC, taking tens of
millions of dollars in special-interest funds."
"I don't think you are qualified if you get $15 million from Wall Street
through your super PAC," Sanders continued to cheers from his audience. "I don't
think you are qualified if you have voted for the disastrous war in Iraq. I
don't think you are qualified if you have supported virtually every disastrous
trade agreement which has cost us millions of decent-paying jobs."
What’s most intriguing about Sanders finally beginning to peck away at Bill’s
wife’s lack of presidential qualifications, is that he’s only scratching the
surface of her shortcomings. Which means that this, perhaps, is only a test of
the reaction he will get for his switch to a harder stance on her lack of
capabilities.
And if that’s so, he’s still got an arsenal of her major qualification lacks
along with her criminality to employ against her. Which means that, with almost eight months still
to go he’s got time to bury her altogether, regarding flaws of character and
capability. And this is coming from one who should know, because that kind of
information’s been posted here every single day for the past two years or more,
with almost no repetition of what’s presented.
It also leads again to the continuing question: Joe Biden, Mayor Bloomberg,
Jerry Brown, and Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you guys
reading this?
That’s it for today folks.
Adios
