Ollie Gillman @dailymail.co.uk titled his article today: “Peace out,
fools! Obama plays the clown by flashing the peace sign for nuclear security
summit 'team photo'... and gets a very unimpressed look from David Cameron and
bemused world leaders”
Mr. Gilman writes: “Surrounded by world leaders, President Barack Obama gave the peace sign as they gathered for a 'team photo' during a two-day nuclear summit.
“All eyes were on Obama as 54 other presidents and prime ministers joined him
in Washington, DC, for crunch talks on Iran and terrorist threats involving
nuclear weapons.
“There was one set of eyes, however, that was particularly focused on the
President - those of Prime Minister David Cameron.
“Relations between Cameron and Obama have been strained since the President
criticized the Prime Minister for getting 'distracted' during the crisis in
Libya and turning it into a 's**t show'.
“There was more than metaphorical distance between the pair at today's
summit, with Cameron only able to glare at Obama from across the podium as he
was elbowed out to the edge of the stage.”
The preceding brought to mind that in seven short years, the POTUS
has alienated two of the nation’s closest, and most consistently reliable
ally’s, Britain and Israel. And, at the same time, he’s replaced them with Iran
and Cuba. Both of which have absolutely no use for the U.S., unless they can
extort some funds for themselves.
Thus, the question arises as to why any rational American leader would swap
two long-time, trusted friends for two hostile adversary’s. And unfortunately,
without getting into detail, from the POTUS’s attitude toward the U.S. in all
that he does, the answer is obvious.
A similar summation was found @foxnews.com, from Charles
Krauthammer, who “told viewers Friday on “Special Report with Bret Baier” that
President Obama’s comments following the nuclear security summit in Washington
are evidence the president is divorced from reality, and from the real problems
plaguing the world.
“The president said that the South Americans are securing their nuclear
materials…. I’d been up late nights unable to sleep thinking about the South
American nuclear issue,” Krauthammer said. “The president is operating in a
world that is detached from ours.”
“Krauthammer ticked off the president’s main accomplishments over the last
several months: the Paris climate change conference, the nuclear security
summit, and a holiday in Cuba.
“That’s it,” he said, adding, “The world is on fire. We’ve got Brussels,
Paris, San Bernardino. All over the world, we have a rise of Islamic radicalism,
and he is obsessed with these long-term, utopian, as he said, ‘transnational’
issues that ordinary people… do not appreciate.”
In addition to the questionable presidential decisions regarding foreign
policy, this writer sat here wondering a few minutes ago, as to whether or not
the check for $500 million that the POTUS gave to the Green Climate Fund a few
weeks back had cleared yet. And if it did, what are the chances of getting the
taxpayers money back?
This morning, Renee Duff, Meteorologist @accuweather.com warns that
“a fresh shot of arctic air will usher spring snow into parts of the Great Lakes
and Northeast during the first weekend of April.
“An Alberta Clipper system diving down from Canada will deliver a round of
snow and sharply colder conditions to the northeastern United States.
“Snow showers and heavier snow squalls are expected to track across the Great
Lakes on Saturday, reaching the interior Northeast by the afternoon and New
England overnight.”
And then: “A widespread 1 to 3 inches of snow will fall from Michigan to New
England with higher amounts focused on the New York state and Pennsylvania
border to a narrow zone in southern New England.
“Cold air may dive far enough south for wet snowflakes to mix with rain in
cities such as Pittsburgh and Boston Saturday night into Sunday morning.
“Behind this system, people will be double-checking the calendar as it will
feel more like February in places such as New York City, Syracuse and Buffalo,
New York; Boston; Burlington, Vermont; and Portland, Maine.
“Temperatures will fail to leave the 30s F in many northeastern cities on
Sunday. Arctic winds, cloud cover, low humidity and other factors will
contribute to AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures in the teens and single digits.
Strong winds will mark the advance of the arctic air.

On another favorite subject, a short entry by Olaf Ekberg
@theamericanmirror.com, notes that “a rally staged at a college campus
housing plenty of warm bodies wasn’t enough for Bill Clinton to fill the room.”
Mr. Ekberg included a photo tweeted by Chris Garretty, an organizer for the
Clinton campaign, that shows empty space at Friday’s rally in Appleton,
Wisconsin.
And then, following the article, reader John (magnum) posted the
following:
Which, appropriately, brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.
Lisa Lerner and Ken Thomas @bigstory.ap.org, write: “According to
Democrats close to Hillary and former President Bill Clinton, both are
frustrated by Sanders' ability to cast himself as above politics-as-usual even
while firing off what they consider to be misleading attacks. The Clintons are
even more annoyed that Sanders' approach seems to be rallying — and keeping —
young voters by his side.
“While Hillary Clinton's team contends her lock on the nomination as "nearly
insurmountable," the campaign frequently grumbles that Sanders hasn't faced the
same level of scrutiny as the former secretary of state, New York senator and
first lady.”
And then comes one of the most hypocritical, and totally ridiculous premises
seen in any kind of political campaign, much less one for the presidency of the
U.S., as follows:
“Her aides complain about Sanders' rhetoric, claiming he's broken his pledge
to avoid character attacks by going after her paid speeches and ties to Wall
Street, and they point to scenes of Sanders supporters booing Clinton's name at
his rallies.”
So, while these “aides” certainly can’t be naive enough not to understand
what campaign rhetoric is all about, they must certainly be absolutely aware
of their candidate’s highly questionable history.
And, as far as criticising “her paid speeches and ties to Wall Street,” are
concerned, they should be pleased that Sanders didn’t even scratch the surface
of her misdeeds, lies, extortion and corruption. Much less her professional
incapability and lives lost in Benghazi on her watch, or the FBI’s present case
regarding email infractions when Secretary of State.
So, instead of complaining, these very same aides ought to be sending thanks
to Sanders, for behaving as a gentleman when he could be papering the walls with
more than thirty years of her misdeeds. But he really doesn’t have to, because
the FBI will do it for him.
Which brings up the ongoing question once again: Joe Biden, Mayor Bloomberg,
Jerry Brown, and Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you guys
reading this?
That’s it for today folks.
Adios
