BloggeRhythms

The original plan for today was to wish the merriest Christmas to all, and sign off. A short story on Drudge this morning,  however, just can’t be overlooked.

Jennifer Since Kelleher of Associated Press headlined her item: “Blizzard gives Hawaii summits a White Christmas”

The text begins: “HONOLULU (AP) -- Some people in Hawaii are dreaming of a White Christmas.

“A blizzard warning remained in effect Wednesday for the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on the Big Island of Hawaii. While snow on the mountains is common, a blizzard with significant accumulation is unusual.

“Up to 8 inches of snow could accumulate above 11,500 feet, the National Weather Service said. "Usually it's just a dusting or up to an inch or two," said weather service Meteorologist Norman Hui. "Right now we have a pretty powerful winter storm."

Therefore, Mother Nature and Santa Claus got together and in a single stroke not only clearly refute the global-warming farce, but picked always warm Hawaii, the president’s birthplace, to do it. And then, just to add a bit of icing (no pun intended) to the cake, they bring their blizzard on a day when the president’s there playing golf.

It simply doesn’t get better than that.

That’s it for today folks.

Merry Christmas!
