BloggeRhythms April 2nd, 2014

Couple of interesting items today, illustrating that while Dem’s continually rely on fact obfuscation and misdirection to cover massive mistakes and inadequate job performance, as time goes by the truth frequently surfaces.

Mike Morell, who served as both deputy and acting director of the CIA, spoke before the House Intelligence Committee this morning, regarding the attack in Benghazi. While his testimony painted a general picture of the agency performing as it should under the circumstances, many questions remain unanswered, suggesting that investigation will continue on.

However, what caught my eye was a related item in Chris Stirewalt’s column regarding Bill Clinton’s wife who was given a job in the incumbent’s administration after be blew her out of the presidential nomination.

She’s the one who as Secretary of State, when asked if the Benghazi attack was a political demonstration or terrorist attack replied “What difference does it make?’

Well, apparently there are folks who are still quite interested in the subject, feeling strongly that the difference matters very much.  As noted in the following paragraph, also from Fox.

“Democratic 2016 frontrunner Hillary Clinton has scrapped plans to appear at a major health industry conference next week in San Diego. Clinton was originally set to give a speech to the Western Health Care Leadership Academy next week, but the group has announced that she will now address the gathering via video uplink instead. Taking credit is a group hounding the former secretary of State for her role in failing to prevent the 2012 raid by Islamist militants on a U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya. The group, The Difference Matters includes Pat Smith, whose son, Sean Smith, was killed in the attack. An official told Fox News that Clinton’s switch is due to a “scheduling conflict” on Clinton’s part.”

So, here’s another indication that the 2016 presidential nomination is no cake walk for Slick Willy’s wife. Especially since the only evidence of her ever doing anything herself except marry him, turned into a major, life-taking disaster.

And then there was another tirade from Harry Reid, who with nothing positive to present as usual, went after the Koch brothers again yesterday, as follows:

“Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., …attacked House budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., for his newly released budget. ‘It's a blueprint for a modern Koch — how would we say this? Koch-topia,’  Reid said. "Yes, that's it. K-O-C-H-T-O-P-I-A. Call it whatever you want…We might as well call it the Koch budget because that's what they're doing, protecting the Koch brothers.”

While Reid himself supports the issues and goals of those who pay him, or his granddaughter, this is a good time to mention again what the Koch brothers strive to achieve.

According to Wikipedia, “They actively fund and support organizations that contribute significantly to Republican candidates, and that lobby against universal health care and climate change legislation They have donated more than $196 million to dozens of free-market and advocacy organizations.”

Consequently, its no wonder that Reid would despise these people. They have the nerve, and cash, to not only rally against the incumbent’s horrendous health care tax, but won’t accept the climate change fraud either. And worst of all, they want a free market with minimal government interference.

All of which means they should be bound and gagged as quickly as possible, because with folks like them running around others might want a free society too. And if that ever happened, what would Harry Reid and his Dem associates do? They might even have to find jobs and actually work for a living.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
