BloggeRhythms 11/17/2012

Watching a series of tragic events take place in the Middle-East, from the Benghazi terrorism miscalculation to Iran’s soon employing nuclear weapon technology to Israel's imminent total destruction of Gaza and then adding those disastrous events to the incredibly poor judgment applied to U.S. domestic issues such as health care, pending tax increases, continually high unemployment, deterioration of education, and a dwindling economy got me to thinking about Bill Clinton.

The reason  he came to mind stemmed from the fact that he was a small town boob who happens to possess extremely strong traits of salesmanship and public speech.  And although the presidency was a post light years over his head, he also clearly understands his own talents and abilities and isn’t afraid to draw on qualified others in the myriad of subjects where he himself is weak. The best example of which is Alan Greenspan who kept the economy humming along for Bill’s entire tenure, affording Bill the room to make lot’s of other mistakes such as Hillary’s totally bungled up attempt with health care and closely knit relationship with the Arafat's.

But then we have the current example of the complete reverse of a politically clever guy like Bill, and are forced to endure a totally incompetent bag of air as he misguides the nation domestically, overseas and in just about everything else he touches.

And what it all boils down to in my view is the incumbent’s unfortunately possessing two extremely powerful traits which he doesn’t seem to manage very well, if he tries at all. On one hand, he appears to be hampered by an inability to learn or intellectually grow, whether inborn or purposely applied I simply do not know, coupled with an arrogance of world class size. And when these two traits are continually enjoined, as we all observe every day, the results tend to be horrendous.

On the other hand, however, now that the incumbent thinks he’s been anointed he’ll likely pick up the pace of what he believes should be changed in legislation and foreign policy, which will almost surely trip him up. Because as evidenced by the colossal misjudgments he’s already made to date, the odds are compounding rapidly that he’ll vocationally self-destruct. And the incredible pity is, he's doing it to all the rest of us as well.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
