The government scandal of the day, getting caught siphoning the phone records of millions of American citizens in a massive data-collection effort, provides one more example of the administration’s total and absolute inability to do anything right. This cadre of clowns has got to be the most inept bunch of bozo’s on Earth.

But the funniest thing about it is, this fiasco actually does go back to “W” Bush. Yet, although for once they can say this truly  is his fault, they botched up so badly themselves it’s not going to help. So, what it comes down to then, is that bad as he might have been, the current boatload of morons is unbelievably worse.

Aside from the administration imploding from ineptitude, there’s not really much going on, but I did come across an item worth thinking about.

According to Shan Li of the Los Angeles Times, via Drudge, “A Saudi Arabian billionaire prince has sued Forbes magazine in London, accusing the publication of underestimating his wealth in its highly scrutinized annual list of the world's richest people.”

Li’s article says that “Prince Alwaleed bin Talal claims the magazine was "deliberately biased" when ranking him at a lowly 26th place in its 2013 tally of the super wealthy, according to court documents cited by the United Kingdom's Guardian newspaper.

The magazine pegged his net worth at $20 billion. The prince claims it is closer to $30 billion. The difference? About $9.6 billion, the Guardian reported.”

I mention this because I think it’s something to ponder every time you fill up at the pump. Because while unemployed folks are paying about two and a half times what a gallon gas of ought to cost, this guy's suing Forbes over $10 billion he claims they don’t give him credit for.

On the other hand, though, if the incumbent and his lunatic anti-fossil fuel fanatics had an iota of common sense and admitted that today’s drilling methods are environmentally safe and reliable, we’d get fuel prices down where they truly belong, put our economy back on the right track and create countless jobs.

And as far as the “Prince” goes, he might take a few billion dollar hit to the pocketbook, but then again, how much does a camel really eat and what’s the weekly rent on a tent?

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
