BloggeRhythms 12/1/2012

As mentioned many times before, I’ll never understand why Democrat voters blindly follow “leaders” who are clearly nothing more than hypocritical phonies, caring about  little other than themselves. These self-anointed caretakers of the weak, tired and hungry among us are also the first on line when it comes to feathering their own nests, though continually presenting themselves as the complete reverse of the facts.

In that regard,  UN Ambassador Susan Rice, the incumbent’s current favorite for Secretary of State, and presently under fire from Republicans for gross misrepresentations in her phonied up story about the terrorist attack on Benghazi, is in the news again on another matter.

According to the TheHill.com, as posted on Drudge this morning, she’s “now taking hits from the left over six-figure investments in the company behind a controversial oil pipeline," owning between $300,000 and $600,000 in TransCanada Corp. stock, according to her financial disclosure forms. TransCanada's the company whose 1,700-mile Keystone XL pipeline --which would bring oil from Canada down to Gulf refineries-- has been repeatedly delayed and now is in regulatory limbo.

So, here we have another case where had this situation involved a Republican, there’d be glaring headlines all over the media blasting the self-serving, money-grubbing attitude possessed by the heartless “rich.” Yet, since a Democrat’s in question I’m sure the story will either be downplayed or promoted as evidence of wisdom in investing.

As for me, I truly couldn’t care less about Ms. Rice’s investments nor anything else she does either. I only mention her because she so clearly illustrates a question to which I keep diligently seeking the answer. And that question is: Why do Democrat voters keep walking into the same walls, over and over again? Because other than monumental stupidity or deep desire for personal failure, I can’t think of any other reasons for their willingness to be made to look like fools by those they continually endorse, no matter what.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
