Back on Friday, August 12th as the country faced a list of growing problems including the: "Tragic mess in Afghanistan, a completely open and broken Border, Crime at record levels, oil prices through the roof, inflation rising, and taken advantage of by the entire world–DO YOU MISS ME YET?" Trump said in a statement that was tweeted by his director of communications, Margo Martin.

Now, yesterday, May 3, the nation seemed to be beginning to answer the question in voting booths as primary’s began. Trump touted victories to Fox News’ Brooke Singman ” for the nearly two dozen candidates he endorsed who won their primary races in Ohio and Indiana Tuesday night, predicting the night was just the beginning of a "tremendous season" for Republicans he supports.

One of them attracting much attention is JD Vance, a venture capitalist and bestselling author of "Hillbilly Elegy." He secured Trump's endorsement in a crowded Ohio GOP Senate primary less than three weeks ago.

While results establish that Trump remains truly established as head of his party, other indications arose as well. Biden-endorsed Rep. Shontel Brown fended off progressive primary challenger Nina Turner, who was supported by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-CortezTurner was also a top surrogate for Bernie Sanders 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns and backed by many on the left.

Although the results are interesting in and of themselves, something else is indicated perhaps of even greater importance. In all, Trump went “22-0” after all of his endorsed candidates swept their primary elections in Ohio and Indiana. Those results would seem to indicate that, combined with losses taken by Cortez and Sanders, Trump’s impact has grown in terms of being reconned with. From here on, when Trump talks, Biden has to pay a greater degree of attention. Naturally, attentiveness is up to Biden, but should he ignore the results, he most certainly will bear the loss.

Fox News readers put it this way,

We had the best economy ever until COVID, and it is recovering well. We have not had any new wars or conflicts in the last 4 years. North Korea has been under control and has not been testing any missiles. ISIS has not been heard from for over 3 years. The housing market is the strongest in over 20 years. Homes have appreciated at an unbelievable rate and sell within hours of going on the market, with multiple offers. "Minority groups led the way in poverty alleviation. Compared to the overall poverty rate reduction of 1.3 percentage points, black poverty fell by 2.0 percentage points, Hispanic poverty fell by 1.8 percentage points, and Asian poverty fell by 2.8 percentage points.”

And there’s the rub for Democrats, whereas regardless of voter’s personal feelings for Trump, his results speak for themselves. Meaning that voters have now felt the pains, financial and otherwise of buying incompetence, wishing for something else. Further underscored by their complete endorsement of his candidates, regardless, across the board.

 That’s it for today folks.

 Adios
