Absorbing published probabilities of the Democrat platform spurs a combination of frustration and pity for what is apparently a majority of those on the left. Primarily because they haven’t the knowledge, education or exposure to appropriate information to understand that what they are being “sold” by their party representatives can’t possibly be delivered.
And the reason for non-deliverability has absolutely nothing
to do with political belief, party affiliation or any other philosophical
aspect of government. Non-deliverability predicates from nothing more than simple
affordability. In the same way that a husband and wife sit at the kitchen table
with a listing of their incomes, available cash from other sources and whatever
other funds are available to them, they determine whether or not they can
afford a new car, home or any other major expenditure.
Thus, someone like Trump whose primary expertise stems from managerial
experience doesn’t approach the nation’s budgetary requirements by assessing
which expenditures will please the most voters. His background, education and intuitive
business sense quite naturally lead him to spending analysis as the primary
consideration. While something like free health care for illegals might sound
wonderful to an entire segment of voters, it might also be perceived as enormously
humane. However, to a realist, the first question arising would be “how will we
pay for this?”
If nothing else, Trump understands that the United States budget
is huge by itself paralleled by enormous existing debt. At the same time, funds
are needed for myriad additional expenditures. So, question one becomes: “where’s
the money going to come from?” In that way, the decision to lower corporate
taxes had nothing to do with political bent or favoring the “rich.” The decision
was made because lower corporate tax rates permit higher corporate profits,
which in turn drive investment and business expansion, leading to overall
growth and development, ultimately increasing cash paid in taxes to drive and
support the entire economy.
While the complexities of the nation’s budget management and
tax regulation are enormous, no financial expertise is required at all to grasp
the positive impact of Trump’s economic rationale. Lower taxes and decreased regulation
stimulate business growth, which in turn promotes expansion thereby increasing
hiring opportunity across the economy. Increased hiring provides opportunity
for individuals of all types and persuasions regardless of ethnicity whatsoever.
And what is the result? Every minority in the nation saw an increase in job opportunity,
not because Trump appealed to those individuals within their particular ethnic
or religious persuasions, but because metaphorically speaking, rising tides
raise all boats.
What’s more, is that without having to sit down and specify
funds be allocated toward any particular interest or endeavor, overall economic
growth is far more likely to provide required financial wherewithal across the
board. Therefore, instead of politicking against the evil, greedy business
community, allowing and supporting their growth is a far better means toward
attaining budgetary success. While those on the left might prefer to close
their eyes, ears and whatever intellect they perhaps possess to the simplest of
financial premises, the nation’s only alternatives to a stifled business sector
are either additional debt or a huge Lottery win.
Bringing us back to the unfortunate basis for today’s stream
of thought and the enormous differences between unrealistic, undeliverable
political promises to an uneducated electorate versus practical realities
managed by individuals capable of the task.
That’s it for today folks.
Adios
