Today’s entry
results from a twofold reaction to some truly incredible news. In what can only
be described as a totally shocking development: “Israel and the United Arab
Emirates reached a landmark accord sealed by President Trump on Thursday that
could presage a broader realignment in the region as the two agreed to “full
normalization of relations,” as reported by The New York Times."
The unexpected
world-changing event took place during a time when most reporting pertained to
the upcoming presidential election. Now that a Democrat vice presidential candidate
selection’s been made on the Democrat side, hard core mud-slinging’s begun. And
that’s where significant reaction stimulus occurred, whereas in typical
fashion, while two Democrats are now running for the nation’s two highest
offices little to no substance has been offered by either one as defamation, degradation
and disparagement of Donald Trump maintains as a primary focus.
The
premise of deprecation stirred another thought regarding opposition to the
president by numerous others having little to no substantive underpinning whatsoever.
While certainly true that Trump was previously known to embellish, overstate
and exaggerate quite often, those actions are commonly found among those
relying on self-promotion as part of their occupational endeavors. However, in Trump’s
case, he’s moved on to a completely different level,
managing the future and fortune of an entire nation. While at the same time,
significant numbers of detractors remain mired in their close-minded,
blindfolded, utterly childish blathering’s reflective of the basest immaturity.
While the likes of Robert DeNiro, Cher, Rosie O’Donnell, Madonna and Alec Baldwin spew inane Trump drivel to equivalent juveniles, “In a surprise announcement at the White House after a three-way phone call with Israeli and Emirati leaders, Mr. Trump said the deal would lead to greater cooperation on investment, tourism, security, technology, energy and other areas while the two countries move to allow regular direct passenger flights, open embassies and trade ambassadors for the first time.
“If fulfilled, the pact would make the Emirates only the third Arab country to have normal diplomatic relations with Israel along with Egypt, which signed a peace agreement in 1979, and Jordan, which signed a treaty in 1994. It could reorder the long stalemate in the region, potentially leading other Arab nations to follow suit in forging an increasingly explicit alliance with Israel against their mutual enemy in Iran while taking Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s explosive annexation plan off the table, at least for now.
“This deal is a
significant step towards building a more peaceful, secure and prosperous Middle
East,” Mr. Trump told reporters in a hastily arranged event in the Oval Office.
“Now that the ice has been broken, I expect more Arab and Muslim countries will
follow the United Arab Emirates’ lead.”
Further importance underpins the impact of Trump’s accomplishment whereas the positively influenced article was written by Peter Baker, Isabel Kershner, David D. Kirkpatrick and Ronen Bergman, all of the vaunted Times writing staff, known for continual Trump disparagement.
Thus, while primarily due to the president’s efforts and skills, major steps are taken toward peace in the Middle-East, the nation continues its rebound from the Covid virus setback as the major stock exchanges persist in setting records, isn’t it about time that these cadres of juvenile detractors acknowledge Donald Trump’s growth and accomplishment and decide to accept reality by finally shutting the hell up?
That’s it for today folks
Adios
