Flipping channels a few moments ago, I happened to accidentally view CNN. That's something that ordinarily never occurs in my home. At the time, some talking head or other was bemoaning the fact that the POTUS told a reporter he would certainly listen to a foreign power who claimed to have information on a political opponent. The POTUS also said he'd simultaneously involve the FBI or whatever other agency might have an interest in the subject on the nation's behalf.

The CNN response apparently means that simply because information arises from nations other than ours, that input is to be avoided at all costs, regardless of the subject or its potential merits. And furthermore, any Commander in Chief of the U.S. who might even consider conversing with any non-American source rises to the level of an impeachable executive.

And that brings up the reason for posting this entry today, to ask the simple question of those who cannot see the value of viable information regardless of source, but would play politics instead: HOW MONUMENTALLY STUPID CAN YOU POSSIBLY BE?
