BloggeRhythms

It seems Nancy Pelosi lost her composure on the floor of the House  on Friday night. Fox News reports that she, “lashed out at Rep. Tom Marino, R-Pa., after he accused Democrats of neglecting the immigration issue when they controlled the White House and Congress in 2009 and 2010.

While she could be seen walking over to him and pointing her finger at him, Rep. Marino later said Pelosi called him "insignificant."

Other photographs show Pelosi with her fist balled up, as if wishing to take a swing at the Republican congressman, which unfortunately she didn’t do. Because if she had, he could have swung back and not only put her out of her misery, but do the nation a great service as well.

On another issue, CBS New York states that “The area is on track for our coolest summer since 2009, but that’s leaving some people with seasonal depression, CBS 2’s Cindy Hsu reported.”

For example, “Staten Island high school seniors Gabriell Vinci and Antoinette DiStefano said summer is going by way too fast.

“It’s very depressing,” Vinci said.

However, beyond the fact that many others are quite happy to have pleasing temperatures instead of blistering heat, there are far more dismal issues currently at hand than the weather.

According to CNSNews.com, “The total federal debt of the U.S. government has now increased more than $7 trillion during the slightly more than five and a half years Barack Obama has been president.

That is more than the debt increased under all U.S. presidents from George Washington through Bill Clinton combined, and it is more debt than was accumulated in the first 227 years of this nation's existence--from 1776 through 2003.”

While the total federal debt first passed the $7-trillion mark on Jan. 15, 2004, after President George W. Bush had been in office almost three years, by the close of business on July 31, 2014, it had risen to $17,687,136,723,410.59—up $7,060,259,674,497.51 since Obama first inauguration day.

Furthermore, “As of June, there were 115,097,000 households in the United States, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The $17,687,136,723,410.59 in debt the federal government had accumulated as of the end of July equaled $153,671.57 per household.

The $7,060,259,674,497.51 in new debt that the federal government has taken on during Obama’s presidency equals $61,341.82 per household.”

In conclusion is the following incredible fact, “The median household income in the United States in 2012 (the latest year estimated) was $51,017. Thus, President Obama has increased the federal debt by more than the typical household’s annual income.”

So, this horrendous statistic can now be added to the mistakes made in the handling of the economy, illegal immigration that’s now totally out of hand, foreign policy disasters everywhere, half the nation on some form of government support, crippling environmental laws focused on non-existent global warming and a weakening military defense capability.

Which means that, the slimmest book in the world would have to be the administration's list of successful accomplishments. Because it would only require a very thin cover and no pages at all.

That's it for today folks.

Adios
