Something for the incumbent, and Democrats in general, to think about is that the Exodus occurred 480 years before the construction of Solomon's Temple. That would suggest that it took place somewhere around 1446 BCE (Before Common Era).

Therefore the Jewish people’s problems with Egypt go back approximately 3,460 years. Yet, today, Israel prefers having the Egyptians mediate cease-fires, and perhaps an eventual peace treaty, rather than the current U.S. administration, and especially the empty-suit John Kerry.

In another example of the results of failed foreign policy, the incumbent tried valiantly to defend his mishandling of the conflict in Iraq by sharply rejecting the premise that it was his decision to pull out from there. Instead, he said, it was because Iraqis didn't want U.S. troops there.

However, some research shows that, according to Daniel Greenfield of www.frontpagemag.com: “As he campaigned in New Hampshire, in 2007, Obama said that he would not leave troops in Iraq even to stop genocide. “Well, look, if that’s the criteria by which we are making decisions on the deployment of U.S. forces, then by that argument you would have three hundred thousand troops in the Congo right now, where millions have been slaughtered as a consequence of ethnic strife, which we haven’t done,” he said. “We would be deploying unilaterally and occupying the Sudan, which we haven’t done.”

And now today, as he sought to prepare Americans for an extended air presence in Iraq, he told reporters on Saturday that the airstrikes he ordered this week could go on for months as Iraqis try to build a new government. He also repeated his insistence that the U.S.would not send ground combat troops back there, pledging that it and other countries would stand with the Iraqi leaders against militants if they built an inclusive government in the months ahead.

Furthermore, he described for the first time a more complicated effort to rescue Iraqis stranded on Sinjar Mountain, saying “The next step, which is going to be complicated logistically, is how can we give people safe passage.” Which sounds like he’s preparing his anti-involvement voting base for the probability of having to send in ground troops if that’s the only way to achieve the goal. Although it would be another glaring example of broken campaign promises that should never have been made in the first place.

Additionally, as mentioned here frequently, John Kerry’s incapability's keep becoming exposed, with fewer and fewer nations wanting to have anything to do with him at all. Much like Bill Clinton’s wife before him, who as Secretary of State accomplished absolutely zero.

Today, Steven Beardsley of Stars and Stripes reports that, “An insurgent-fired rocket struck the military side of Kabul International Airport on Friday, the same day Secretary of State John Kerry departed the city.

No one was injured in the attack, which happened just before 9 p.m., according to a spokesman for NATO’s International Security Assistance Force. Damage was minor, with a forklift destroyed, the spokesman said.”

Which means that the insurgents must have thought it was very important to them to make the point that Kerry's visit didn’t impress them an iota. So, perhaps he forgot to tell them that 50 years or so ago, he served in Vietnam for four whole months, making him an expert on warfare, a legend in his own mind, and therefore, someone they should all trust their nation's futures to.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
