While the administration dodges and weaves, trying to change the facts about the ill-conceived, illogical and poorly designed new heath care tax, folks in the real world outside DC are pouring oil on the flames from the legislation’s implosion.

 

Validation of public opinion that the tax is evidence of governmental incompetence was strongly indicated last night at the Country Music Awards, of all places.

 

According to Sasha Bogursky of FoxNews.com: “Viewers who tuned in to watch the 47th Annual Country Music Association Awards, held Wednesday night in Nashville, might have confused the show with a roast of ObamaCare. Country music’s hottest stars had a bone to pick with the faulty Healthcare.gov website.

 

CMA Awards host Brad Paisley jokingly told his co-host Carrie Underwood that his back hurt and he needed to see a doctor. Underwood asked the singer if he had signed up for ObamaCare.

“ObamaCare, what’s that?” Paisley asked Underwood.

 

“Oh, it’s great!” Underwood quipped. “I started signing up last Thursday and I’m almost done!” The “Blown Away” singer proceeded to help her co-host sign up for ObamaCare and “join the six other people” who have reportedly signed up successfully for the healthcare service.”

 

Ms. Bogursky goes on to note that: “The routine had the Nashville audience clapping their hands to the tune of newly crowned entertainer of the year George Strait’s “Amarillo by Morning,” but with the words changed to “ObamaCare by morning/ Why’s this taking so long?/ I’m going to end up with hemorrhoids/If I sit here ’til dawn.”

 

The most important point, to me, is that shows such as this one have millions of viewers, many in the younger age groups targeted to make the program work financially. So, to be made a national laughing stock has to be a significant set-back. And what’s  even worse for the administration, is their insistence on making themselves look far more untrustworthy by continually having stooges like Jay Carney refuse to admit the failure and miserable quality of the job that was done.

 

Carney causes me to wonder how anyone could have such little regard for himself, so often double-talking in circles, protecting his boss rather than presenting truths. And that was never more obvious than yesterday, when he refuted information still posted clearly on the White House website WhiteHouse.gov, which still says, according to FoxNews:

 

"For Americans with insurance coverage who like what they have, they can keep it. Nothing in this act or anywhere in the bill forces anyone to change the insurance they have, period."

 

The language appears in a section of the website labeled "health reform details," and also appears exactly the same way in the Department of Health and Human Services' online description of the law.

 

Even more ridiculous, on Monday the incumbent told top backers of Organizing for Action, his permanent campaign arm, that “What we said was, ‘You could keep it [your plan] if it hasn’t changed since the law was passed,” which is an out and out fabrication. 

 

Then Carney compounded the falsehood with: “If you had a plan and your insurance company didn’t cancel it, you could keep it." 

 

However, according to Fox, the truth is: “The insurance company cancellations were largely due to a rule issued by the Department of Health and Human services which disqualified plans that have changed at all since the law passed from being “grandfathered” in and exempted from the regulations.

 

“When the rule was issued, Secretary Sebelius and others spoke to the press about it, specifically about the fact that… if insurance companies changed their plans or canceled their plans, they would give up the opportunity to grandfather those plans in,” Carney said."

 

So, now you have a choice to decide which Carney lie you prefer. The one from the beginning about keeping your health care plan if you wished, or that he sent the press to Secretary Sibelius to answer questions at other times in other places that were asked directly of him.

 

But, aside from the distortions of truth, what I’ve been concerned about from the beginning is over and above the factor that the heath care tax is purely an aspect of socialism. Because, far worse is that having the government run it is like turning brain surgery over to a roomful of blindfolded chimps. Except that the chimps are likely far smarter than what’s been evidenced so far by those responsible for this total foul-up. Which brings me to further proof of politician's incompetence and stupidity 

 

According to the Boston Globe, “On the night Martin Walsh was elected mayor of Boston, Vice President Joe Biden made sure to call the incoming Democrat to offer his congratulations. 

Trouble is, he phoned the wrong Martin Walsh, 

 

“You son of a gun, Marty!” Biden reportedly said. “You did it!”

 

The Marty Walsh at the focus of the vice president’s glee was a former aide to U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy who is now the president of Gateway Public Solutions, a Boston-based government relations firm.

 

Walsh thanked Biden for his kind words after telling him that he had reached the wrong Marty, the paper said. He offered his help to track down the incoming mayor.”

 

But, the VP isn’t the only dunce in office because, “Also on Tuesday night, the wrong Walsh received phone calls from several Democratic luminaries, including Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee.”

 

Then, moving along to the incumbent’s ongoing game plan as to what aspect of freedom he can curb next, since after planning to spend billions on global warming that doesn’t even exist he still wants to pursue gun control and education. But, before he goes on another fool’s errand, perhaps he should read this from washingtontimes.com about NYC’s Mayor Bloomberg’s recent venture in Colorado:  

 

“Colorado voters kicked the mayor to the curb at the ballot box again, rejecting a proposed statewide income-tax hike backed by Mr. Bloomberg just two months after ushering out two Democratic state senators who supported his gun-control agenda. 

 

Mr. Bloomberg sunk $1 million into the $10 million campaign for Amendment 66, a proposed $1 billion tax increase to fund K-12 education. Despite an enormous spending advantage — opponents of the ballot measure only raised about $20,000 — Amendment 66 lost by a whopping 66 percent to 34 percent.”

 

So, I guess the question for the incumbent is when, if ever, will he figure out that just about everything he touches or suggests is unpopular, irrational and almost always, unfeasible. And that the European nations he idolizes are among the most backward in every aspect of human life. So much so that progressive Germany is bigger and better itself than just about all of the socialist failures put together.

Today’s news is full of very strong indicators of things to come, if you put them together. And basically, what’s seemingly clearer is a much rougher road ahead for Democrats, regardless of the positive spin they’ll try to con voters with.

 

A major event for Dem’s, of course, was the win by Clinton hack, Terry McAuliffe, in the Virginia gubernatorial race. However, not only wasn’t the victory margin as huge as predicted, thanks to the incumbent’s new health care tax, if the election was held a week or two later, the odds are Republican, Ken Cuccinelli, might very well have pulled off an upset win despite his extremely conservative ideology.

 

According to FoxNews.com’s Dana Blanton: “Ken Cuccinelli’s strongly conservative views on issues like abortion hurt him with female voters. Women backed Terry McAuliffe by a nine percentage-point margin.  In 2009, women preferred Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell (who is also pro-life, but less conservative) by eight points.”

 

But then, you have to dissect the details, because: "Despite being outspent by an unprecedented $15 million, this race came down to the wire because of ObamaCare," Cuccinelli said in his concession speech. "That message will go out to the entire country tonight." 

 

In that regard, “While 46 percent of Virginia voters support Obamacare, a 53-percent majority oppose it. That includes 41 percent who said they “strongly” oppose the law.

 

Furthermore, “Unmarried women went for McAuliffe by a wide 67-25 percent margin,” while “Cuccinelli had the edge among economy voters (+6) and health care voters (+4), while McAuliffe had a whopping 25-point advantage among abortion voters.” 

 

Exit polls also showed,  a “53-percent majority disapproving of the job Obama’s doing as president.  Just 46 percent approve.  That’s down from the 51 percent of the vote Obama received in Virginia in 2012.”

 

However, despite all the money spent by Dem’s and the pull of the Clinton’s, the Republicans still took down several challengers to retain a solid Virginia House majority. So neither Mr. McAuliffe nor the Dem’s are going to accomplish much in the state anyway, which voters probably knew.

 

As far as Hillary herself is concerned, while McAuliffe's win might seem to bode well for her presidential aspirations, it might not really mean that much. Howard Kurtz put it precisely in Media Buzz today in FoxNews on-line when he asked: “And what would the argument for a Hillary presidency be? Something interesting happens when you ask Democrats why her in 2016. They say that it’s time for a woman, that she’ll raise oodles of dough, that other potentially strong candidates won’t dare take her on. The answers are about the process more than the person or any vision she has for the country. There’s no poetry in them. That’s not good.” 

 

Then again, next time around folks might be tired of Dem’s in general because of things like the following as reported by Tim Devaney of the washingtontimes.com about a company, Ecotality, that “received $135 million in total funding from the federal government over the past eight years. Including $35 million for two projects that were approved in 2005 and 2011, and a $100 million grant from the Obama administration’s Recovery Act, known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which gave a boost to energy-efficient companies.”

 

And after receiving the $100 million in aid from the 2009 stimulus, “Ecotality filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection September16, but the officials at the Energy Department failed to give the inspector general notice in the months leading up to the bankruptcy.”

 

It’s this sort of news that folks may be tiring of, despite all the hype and smoke emanating from the White House, whereas as Deadline's, Dominic Patten points out, the CNN TV show “Crossfire has hit new lows. 

 

Resuscitated on September 9 after eight years off the air, the political debate show pulled in just 233,00 viewers overall and a mere 59,000 among adults 25-54 between 6:30 PM and 7 PM on Monday. Full-hour time-slot rivals on Fox News Channel and MSNBC did a lot better — to put it mildly. FNC’s Special Report had 2.44 million viewers with 411,000 in the key news demo, while MSNBC’s Al Sharpton-hosted PoliticsNation had 707,000 total viewers and 170,000 among the 25-54s.”

 

So, if folks aren’t tuning in the administration’s main TV outlet, choosing despised Fox instead, or even deadbeat Sharpton, it looks like folks are just plain fed up. Which likely explains the next item.

 

Because despite all the Dem noise every time “W’s” mentioned,  according to Eric Pfeiffer, of Yahoo News via Drudge: “In the first week of November in the fifth year of their presidencies, Obama and Bush have nearly identical approval numbers, according to the latest Gallup polling.

 

When President Obama first ran for the White House in 2008, it was with the promise to turn the page on the presidency of George W. Bush. But for all their political differences, it turns out the American public pretty much view the two men in the same light, according to new polling data, where In fact, Bush comes out one point ahead, 40 percent to 39 percent, respectively.”

While the incumbent backpedals, distorting his own words uttered over and over again when hustling the quickly unraveling health care tax, another false premise is gaining exposure.

 

According to David Rose of the dailymail.co.uk yesterday, “The 17-year pause in global warming is likely to last into the 2030s and the Arctic sea ice has already started to recover, according to new research.

 

A paper in the peer-reviewed journal Climate Dynamics – by Professor Judith Curry of the Georgia Institute of Technology and Dr. Marcia Wyatt – amounts to a stunning challenge to climate science orthodoxy. 

 

Not only does it explain the unexpected pause, it suggests that the scientific majority – whose views are represented by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) – have underestimated the role of natural cycles and exaggerated that of greenhouse gases.”

 

The data supporting the conclusion that global warming hasn’t occurred in many years, and likely won’t for quite some time in the future, if ever,  is well worth reading, so I’ve included  a link: STUDY- Global warming 'pause' may last for 20 more years

 

Another item that caught my eye regards Harry Belafonte, the 86 year old entertainer who frequently involves himself in social issues. I mention him today because I wonder if he ever considered what the consequences might be if he lived almost anywhere else than the U.S., and kept expressing his political opinions, regardless.

 

Apparently he made an appearance at the First Corinthian Baptist Church where, according to Capital New York, he disparaged the Koch brothers saying: “Already we have lost 14 states in this union to the most corrupt group of citizens I’ve ever known. They make up the heart and the thinking in the minds of those who would belong to the Ku Klux Klan. They are white supremacists. They are men of evil. They have names. They are flooding our country with money.”

 

After reading his comments, I looked his bio up on Wikipedia to find that: “Belafonte has been a longtime critic of U.S. foreign policy. He began making controversial political statements on this subject in the early 1980s. He has at various times made statements opposing the U.S. embargo on Cuba; praising Soviet peace initiatives; attacking the U.S. invasion of Grenada; praising the Abraham Lincoln Brigade; honoring Ethel and Julius Rosenberg and praising Fidel Castro.”

 

Now, this certainly is a free country and therefore, Mr. Belafonte’s at liberty to believe and say anything he wants. However, perhaps he might take a moment before spouting off against the U.S. next time, to consider what might befall him should he go to Russia, Cuba or anywhere else, and make hostile public speeches criticizing them.

The daily toll mounts. More and more items appear throughout  every aspect of communication showing displeasure with the new health care tax. But, what’s even worse for the incumbent is distrust and disgust amongst the intended target groups, including damaging commentary from their idols.

 

Lauren Ashburn, in Top Twitter Talk on FoxNews.com reports that “KISS lead guitarist Tommy Thayer is breathing fire – this time it’s on Twitter. Seems Thayer, who joined the band in ’03, got some bad news in the mail about his health care plan that could make it a bit harder for him to rock-n-roll all night…and party every day.

 

"If you like your healthcare plan you can keep it, period." Not true. I just got notice mine's cancelled 12/31. #ObamaCareFail

 

Fans wrote to him about their experiences, including one who said: “When @tommy_thayer needs to scramble and figure out his family's health care, what hope is there for the rest of us!? Ughh!”

 

Another article, however, shows the incredible disconnect between the administration and the real world. 

 

On “Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace,” Ezekiel Emanuel, “the leading architect of ObamaCare, insisted that Obama isn’t to blame for millions of cancelled policies, premium spikes and other disruptions.” He then claimed that “The insurance decides how to make money. When the private companies decide to drop an individual, you blame Obama. He isn’t responsible for that,” said Emanuel.

 

And that’s the aspect of the new tax that they either don’t understand, which would be beyond belief, or continually lie about.

 

Because the insurance providers didn’t simply decide one day to change their coverage requirements. The incumbent himself did that, by adding a new list of items that now must be included in policies. And what’s even worse, for significant segments of the population, they not only don’t really need the now required services, but in many rural parts of the nation the health care system doesn’t even offer what’s called for. 

 

Compounding the issue further, another White House flunky, Senior Adviser Dan Pfeiffer, “claimed Sunday,“ [I]f the president were to allow people to have those plans be downgraded, or insurance companies to keep selling barebones plans …if he had done that he'd be violating even more important promise to the American people, that everyone would have a guarantee to access of quality affordable health insurance,” Pfeiffer told ABC’s “This Week.” Pfeiffer did not say when Obama deemed the “if you like it” pledge inoperable due to the “barebones” promise. "

 

But what this hack Pfeiffer missed is the point that nobody ever asked the incumbent to get involved in health care in the first place. This hare-brained scheme was his idea from the start. Even Slick Willie figured that out way back when he told Hillary to quit trying to foul the health care system up, whereas she and Ira Magaziner were clueless as to what what they were trying to do even then. 

 

So, in the incumbent’s case, this is something he decided to do on his own, nobody asked him to. And when he killed the system in the process, others were blamed for his failure. Which all adds up to an incredible Catch-22, where while he’s pointing fingers everywhere he can think of, his problem is, he’s trying to catch his own tail.  

 

Then on another aspect of misguided governance, there may be a hint of where this ridiculous new acceleration of focus on the environment might wind up, as indicated by this item on Fox:

 

“Not easy being green - Nearly 15,000 French protestors were met with tear gas as they voiced their opposition to punitive environmental taxes proposed for the trucking industry. The government suspended the application of the ecotax earlier in the week, AFP reports.”  

 

So, that's another case of government interference in issues wherein there was no real problem in the first place. Which leads to some commentary made yesterday by comedian Jackie Mason, who hit the nail on the head this way, via wnd.com: 

 

“He has a whole country walking around dizzy wondering who we’re listening to. If this is a president of a country, how come he’s the only one in America who doesn’t seem to know what’s going on here?

 

“The latest is that it’s only 5 percent of the people, only 15 [or] 20 million people who are going to lose their plan. …  What if you shoot a guy? He’s only one person out of 300 million. How come it’s in the paper that you shot an innocent person and you go to jail for it?

 

Since when do you destroy people and it doesn’t count because it’s too small a percentage?”

Saw this link on Drudge from the Mason Conservative: “Virginia Democrat Calls For Forcing Doctors To Accept Medicare And Medicaid Patients”

 

Reading it, a host of thoughts flooded my mind of Dem’s absolute inability to grasp how the real world works and their continual shortsightedness about anything having to do with commerce or even the most basic aspects of economics.

 

Consequently, I was preparing to write my response, pointing out how, after the devastation to come in the nation’s health care system due to the new tax law, forcing doctors into further financial losses would decrease the number of practitioners significantly greater. And then I read the article itself, finding it made my point perfectly, so here’s the crux of it as written:

 

“You would think that when your party is [digging] a hole that is getting harder and harder to get out of, you wouldn't want to that hole get deeper faster.  But here is Kathleen Murphy, Democrat running for the House of Delegates against Barbara Comstock, telling a forum in Great Falls that she believes it should [be] law to force doctors to accept Medicare and Medicaid patients. Forced by government decree, mind you. 

 

A birdie sent me this: FYI last night at the Great Falls Grange debate, Democrat delegate candidate Kathleen Murphy said that since many doctors are not accepting Medicaid and Medicare patients, she advocates making it a legal requirement for those people to be accepted.  

 

She did not recognize that the payments are inadequate to cover the doctors' costs.  She also did not recognize there is a shortage of over 45,000 physicians now and that it is forecast to be 90,000 in a few years.  Democrats appear to want to make physicians slaves of the state, but Democrats don't admit they would just drive more doctors out of practice into retirement and other occupations. 

 

The Obamacare law and regulations are causing millions of people to lose their health insurance, drop many doctors and hospitals. The HHS internal forecast is 93 million Americans would lose their health insurance due to the Obamacare law and rules about adequacy of insurance.Many more people will be uninsured.  

 

The penalties for being uninsured start at $95 per year, but the penalties can't be collected by the IRS if a person does not have a tax refund to attach.”

 

And then, I came across another item on Drudge by Maya Shwayder, a Jerusalem Post correspondent who writes, ”While the US has “implemented unprecedented sanctions and pressure on Iran, we may very well have to use military force to back up our policy,” Leon Panetta said on Thursday night.

 

The former US defense secretary and CIA director made the remarks while addressing around 600 people at the Anti-Defamation League’s 100th annual meeting.

 

Panetta, who was receiving the ADL’s William and Naomi Gorowitz Institute Service Award, said the US needs to “maintain a healthy skepticism” when negotiating to suss out Iran’s true level of commitment to negotiations over its nuclear program.

 

“It is the Supreme Leader [Ali Khamenei] who is key, and he is not likely to give up [uranium] enrichment,” Panetta warned. “We have to remain strong. We have to remain consistent.”

 

So, when all is said and done, what’s happening here was easily foreseeable by anyone with the slightest knowledge of the fragile structure of the Middle East and why it was so critical for us to have a strong position the region. 

 

But, once again naïve leadership, unwilling to accept the responsibility of the  truth’s, pandered instead to ignorant constituents insisting on burying their heads in the sand and denying reality.

 

And now, two years later we’re right back where we were in the first place, facing military intervention anyway, except this time in a significantly weaker position. 

 

Which I guess, is what the left is all about. Because they obviously believe that losing is much more gracious and humane than winning, the strong should always defer to the weak, and that the helpless and hopeless are not only to be admired, it’s worth bringing down the most successful nation on earth on their account, rather than striving to help them achieve their own success.

Scanning the news today, most items are repetitive and really, quite boring. But there was one that adds to my continuing belief that I’m either brain-dead or can’t comprehend what I read.

 

While I have no interest in the Virginia governor’s race whatsoever, since one of the candidates is a Clinton flunky and cohort, I read an article on FoxNews.com that included the following:

 

“The top candidates -- a quintessential Democratic insider and a Tea Party-backed Republican -- have engaged in an old-school political brawl that has included go-rounds on such issues as ObamaCare, gun control and women’s rights, while attracted more than $43 million in campaign donations.

 

Democratic nominee Terry McAuliffe leads GOP nominee Ken Cuccinelli by roughly nine percentage points in the once-reliable Republican state that voted for President Obama in 2012 and 2008 -- marking the first time since 1964 that a Democratic presidential nominee had won the state.”

 

And then I got to the part that confuses me completely, regarding candidate Cuccinelli’s platform, described as follows: “His campaign platform has been based in large part of such progressive ideals as the environment and gun control. However, Democrats have also  tried to connect Cuccinelli to the recent federal government shutdown, his views on global warming and a donor scandal involving Republican Gov. Bob McDonnell, despite an ethic probe clearing Cuccinelli.”

 

So, here we have several issues where candidate Cuccinelli’s stances have proven to be absolutely correct, yet Democrats villainize him while completely ignoring hard facts. 

 

Republicans shut the government down in a last ditch effort to try to prevent an ill-conceived new tax from the future harm it will do the citizenry, the overall economy, and ultimately the nation’s health care system itself. 94% of the population has no problem whatsoever with gun control laws in existence now, and not only isn’t the globe warming, temperatures haven’t changed at all in the past fifteen years.

 

As far as the scandal goes, I know absolutely nothing about it. But, obviously, candidate Cuccinelli was cleared of any wrongdoing.    

 

Yet, Democrats not only keep harping on these issues, they scream even louder when they’re proven entirely wrong. And that’s the part that continually confuses me. Because either I’ve gone totally bonkers,  or Democrats are the dumbest squad of ciphers that ever existed, permitting failed ideology to override incontrovertible facts.

 

And speaking of Democrats with mindsets that totally disregard facts, there are some who are not only absolutely incapable of learning anything that conflicts with their misguided theories, they continue to make glaring public fools of themselves. And here’s a mega-example from the washingtontimes.com/news

 

“President Obama issued an executive order Friday directing a government-wide effort to boost preparation in states and local communities for the impact of global warming.

 

The action orders federal agencies to work with states to build “resilience” against major storms and other weather extremes. For example, the president’s order directs that infrastructure projects like bridges and flood control take into consideration climate conditions of the future, which might require building structures larger or stronger — and likely at a higher price tag.”

 

So, after going through the health care tax start-up fiasco, and certainly aware of the hundreds of millions misspent on gross ineptitude, total incompetence and facing expectation of future failure, this guy turns around immediately to waste however many millions more on a fiction that doesn’t even exist.

 

And the real problem for anyone in the nation who has any money left at all, is that it will keep getting spent by the administration which doesn’t give a good GD how much their hare-brained schemes cost everybody else.

Some pretty bright folks are starting to wake up and figure out what’s coming down the road for the  faltering health care tax. 

 

Steve Hayes a Fox News contributor, yesterday “dismissed the administration's attempt to spin President Obama's previous assertions that if individuals were happy with their current plans, they could keep them - a statement that turned out to be false since not all plans met the health act's requirements - by saying that only five percent of the country would lose their policies.”

But then, however, Mr. Hayes went on to address the extremely important point I made yesterday when referencing airhead Juan Williams regarding the “small amount of people” losing their coverage.

Mr. Hayes apparently did the math too, concluding: “'If you're talking about 15 million as the 'just five percent' - the original goal was to cover an additional 30 (million people). So you're talking about half of the population of the uninsured that was the reason for the entire plan in the first place," Hayes said.  "So it's a little disingenuous for them to minimize that many people."

And now, using Mr. Hayes results which narrow the uninsured population even further than I did, we actually have just 15 million without coverage ruining the perfectly adequate health care coverage of 218 million others. And if that doesn’t clearly illustrate the incredibly damaging illogic of socialism, I can’t imagine what does.

Right after reading the preceding, I found the following on Drudge by Pat Buchanan, titled, “The First Hustler Runs the Big Con”

A section of the column follows, which describes the horrendous situation just about perfectly: 

 

“And though the Obamacare website will one day be repaired, and people may begin to sign up, the land mines in Obamacare are by no means all exploded. We will be walking right through them.

As Obamacare requires the cancellation of insurance plans and forces Americans to buy more expensive insurance than they want, this will inevitably raise the cost of health care for the nation. 

 

And when the employer mandates cut in, many businesses will halt hiring at 49 employees to keep out of Obamacare, as others cut part-time workers to 29 hours a week to escape the mandates. 

 

This cannot but adversely impact an economy whose growth in job creation under Obama has been anemic at best for five years.

Obama and cohorts are celebrating an historic achievement in passing Obamacare. But as one looks at Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Puerto Rico, Detroit and Illinois, the truth seems obvious.

The welfare state that began with Bismarck is reaching the end of the line, just as the private sector that generates the wealth to sustain that state is now, almost everywhere, buckling under its weight. The deficits stretch to the horizon. The debts rise inexorably.”

Frankly, I was never a big Pat Buchanan fan, he’s a little extreme for me. But in this case he’s capsulized the case I’ve been trying to make since the incumbent was elected the first time. And while I have no doubt that a collapse of some kind has to happen, if the Republicans don’t learn to stop muddying their fiscal policies with social incursions from those on the extreme right, there’s no else left on earth left to fix it. 

However, as I say continually, there may be real hope because its always the little things that count, which is why we all have to continually pay attention to them.

Dominic Patten of Deadline via Drudge, headlined an article: “CNN Falls To Lowest Primetime In Over A Year; Fox’s Megyn Kelly Returns To Cable News Ratings Top Spot.”

The text says: “Between 8 PM and 11 PM last night, CNN had a mere 67,000 viewers among the key news demo. That’s the worst its done in the demo since August 10 last year. Megyn Kelly’s 9 PM Fox News Channel show pulled in 445,000 in the adult 25-54 demo Wednesday.”

So, here we have a station “Fox,” branded as villainous by the White House, drawing almost 7 times the audience of the favored news outlet of the left, CNN. And although I clearly understand that one night’s statistics don’t prove anything much, the numbers are certainly something to watch.

Along the same lines, another quiet indicator of declining image is getting publicly mocked which means significant loss of respect. Especially when that disrespect is demonstrated on major network shows tending to lean left.

Which is why there may be another indicator here in the fact that, according to Mitch Miller of WTOP, also via Drudge, a "Saturday Night Live" parody of Obamacare and the healthcare.gov website got a lot of laughs when "SNL"'s Kate McKinnon portrayed Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. "Millions of Americans are visiting healthcare.gov, which is great news," McKinnon said during the opening of last week's show “Unfortunately the site was only designed to handle six users at a time."

In conclusion today then, it seems that the health care tax situation is like water dripping on a rock. Bit by bit, piece by piece, situation by situation this ill-conceived, unworkable morass, headed by incompetents reporting to an administration even dumber than they are is incrementally unraveling and falling apart. 

 

So, I guess the opportunity lies with professional folks in the private sector who’ll make billions for themselves, putting healthcare back together when the flea-brained socialists finally give up and put it back in the free-market where it's always belonged in the first place..
