Another very slow news day. Nonetheless, although the Republicans as a group are running miserable presidential campaigns, the Democrats are doing far worse. In fact, at the rate Democrats are going, their party may never recover again.  

 

To reiterate the major story from yesterday, but certainly worth repeating, Iran announced finding an unexpectedly high reserve of uranium, just days after Obama essentially secured an international nuclear deal with the country's leaders. Which means that, in its historical tradition, further breaches of the meaningless deal will almost certainly keep appearing. And that means, since only Democrats are gullible enough to follow their leader into this travesty, Republican candidates are now beneficiaries of what will likely be landslide victory’s for all their candidates in November 2016.   

 

On another issue, this one probably ignored by most Americans, more truths are surfacing regarding the global-warming fraud being perpetrated on the ignorant public. 

 

Thomas M. Kostigen @usatoday.com, headlined his article today: “Poor nations want U.S. to pay reparations for extreme weather”

 

Mr. Kostigen writes: “Poorer nations suffering from extreme weather disasters, so much so that their citizens are seeking refuge in safer terrains outside their borders, want rich nations like the United States to pay for reparations and to relocate populations.

 

“Preparatory talks ahead of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change to be held in Paris in December has representatives from developing nations asking for more than an already agreed upon $100 billion per year for climate change mitigation measures. They want additional compensation for weather-related disasters as well as a "displacement coordination facility" for refugees. And they want all this to be legally binding as part of the larger anticipated Paris accord.”

 

“The U.N. Paris conference aims to reach an international, legally biding agreement on climate change that would reduce greenhouse gas emissions and thwart global temperature rise. A separate agreement is being eyed to address losses and damages from extreme weather events, thought to be a result of climate change.”

 

As far as “thwarting global temperature rise” is concerned, there’s a better than excellent chance of successful achievement. Because temperatures haven’t risen in the past 18 years, and the current polar vortex almost guarantees frigid winter weather for at least the next ten years to come. Which means that the same $100 billion to be given to the backward nations annually could also have been dedicated to protect them from raining xylophones. 

 

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

 

According to foxnews.com, “The tech company that managed the private email server that Hillary Clinton used as secretary of state says it has “no knowledge of the server being wiped,” which means some of her deleted emails could be recovered, The Washington Post reported Saturday.”

 

While Bill’s wife has been saying for months that she gave the government all of her official emails and deleted about 31,000 personal ones, it’s remained unclear as to what was actually contained in those that were “wiped” from her personal server.

 

But, now there’s a very good chance that much of the server’s contents can be retrieved. Which means, if history has anything to do with it, damaging information likely exists. If not, why wipe the disk in the first place?

 

And that leads to the ongoing question: Joe Biden, Mayor Bloomberg, Jerry Brown, and Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you reading this?

Nothing much new in the “news” today, but things still look pretty good for Republicans in general. That’s because, for some strange reason, Democrat politicians, and their supporters in the press and elsewhere, don’t ever seem to use the brains they were born with.

 

Michael Crowley @politico.com writes that, “Buoyed by the success of his nuclear deal with Iran, President Barack Obama is preparing to move aggressively on other long-delayed priorities, including a major climate change summit this winter and his elusive quest to close the Guantanamo Bay prison camp.”

 

Reading the preceding paragraph makes one think that the writer is either a flack paid by the administration to spin its agenda, or is simply too dumb to grasp what transpired in the Iran deal’s slim passage in the Senate.

 

To repeat the statistics, posted here yesterday, “a disapproval resolution for the agreement fell just two votes short of the 60 needed to move forward. That means that only 42 senators voted for it, while 58 didn’t.

 

“As far as the voting public's concerned, only two in 10 Americans support the deal. Another three in 10 simply say they “don't know,” while 49 percent oppose it altogether and opposition far outpaces support.

 

“While political independents as a group have become increasingly critical vote-wise in national elections, they too are strongly against the deal. 47% disapprove, only 31% are in favor, and another 23% say they don’t know.”

 

And now, today, it appears that while only Democrats voted in favor of the deal, Iran played them for the suckers that it depended on all along. Obviously, by their arrogant actions during the negotiations, Iran fully and correctly expected those Democrats would blindly follow a leader working his own agenda, as usual.

 

Then, this morning, a Reuters article reports that, “Iran has discovered an unexpectedly high reserve of uranium and will soon begin extracting the radioactive element at a new mine, the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation said on Saturday.”

 

What’s even more incredible is that: “The comments cast doubt on previous assessments from some Western analysts who said the country had a low supply and would sooner or later would need to import uranium, the raw material needed for its nuclear program.”

 

And these “expert” scientists are the one’s the administration depended on for determining Iran’s current and future capability, nuclear weapon-wise. As it now turns out, the White House could have gotten the same, if not better, analysis from Curly, Moe and Larry.  

 

However, we need not worry because: “Any indication Iran could become more self-sufficient will be closely watched by world powers, which reached a landmark deal with Tehran in July over its program. They had feared the nuclear activities were aimed at acquiring the capability to produce atomic weapons – something denied by Tehran.” 

 

Anyone who believes that those “world powers” will be able to closely watch or control anything Iran does might be interested in buying a bridge I own that connects Manhattan to Brooklyn.  

 

Iranian nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi summed the situation up perfectly, saying through the state news agency IRNA: "I cannot announce (the level of) Iran's uranium mine reserves. The important thing is that before aerial prospecting for uranium ores we were not too optimistic, but the new discoveries have made us confident about our reserves." 

 

Coming back to the subject of facts and reality disproving political spin as delivered by the administration and supported by ally’s in the press, the Iranian miscalculation isn’t the only mistaken objective noted today.

 

It’s also going to be interesting to watch how the POTUS handles what’s projected to be one of the coldest winters in history this coming season. Thanks to the Polar Vortex and shifting pull of polar strength. But since for this administration, politics always outweighs reality, we’ll all find out how his global-warming warnings sound when delivered through chattering teeth in freezing temperatures.   

 

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

 

The Associated Press via foxnews.com, reports that: “Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton had the right to delete personal emails from her private server, the Justice Department told a federal court.

 

“Lawyers for the government made the assertion in a filing this week with the U.S. District Court in Washington, part of a public records lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group that seeks access to Clinton's emails.”

 

What’s hard to ascertain in this case, is why the Justice Department is so pleased with the probability that “personal emails” might be excluded from judicial scrutiny, treating the situation as if it was a victory.  

 

“Because: “She has said that she sent and received about 60,000 emails during her four years in the Obama administration, about half of which were personal and deleted. The others were turned over to the State Department.” Which means there are still 30,000 chances that she violated the law, as suspected by the Inspector General and Trey Gowdy’s committee in Congress.

 

Leading to the ongoing question: “Joe Biden, Mayor Bloomberg, Jerry Brown, and Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you reading this?

The Republican party received a gift yesterday that will likely assure them of keeping both congressional houses next November. It also practically guarantees a Republican president will be elected as well. And who gave it to them? The Democrats, who may have set their party back irreparably by, like lemmings, voting for an Iran nuclear deal that hasn’t a whisper of chance of working as sold to them by an anti-Israeli/Saudi Arabia administration.

 

While Senate Democrats voted to uphold the worthless nuclear accord with Iran on Thursday, a disapproval resolution for the agreement fell just two votes short of the 60 needed to move forward. That means that only 42 senators voted for it.

 

As far as the voting public's concerned, only two in 10 Americans support the deal. Another three in 10 simply say they “don't know,” while 49 percent oppose it altogether and opposition far outpaces support.

 

While political independents as a group have become increasingly critical vote-wise in national elections, they too are strongly against the deal. 47% disapprove, only 31% are in favor, and another 23% say they don’t know.

 

What’s even more preposterous, is that among those Democrats blindly following their leader, many are doing so not only with trepidation, but openly admitting it. For example, minority whip, Denny Hoyer announced his support by Tweeting @TheIranDeal: "not one which I would have negotiated, nor one I think should have been agreed to." Which means Hoyer’s trying to straddle the fence of having an excuse for voters while still backing his boss, the POTUS.

 

Chuck Schumer who voted no on the deal because he had to appease his Jewish constituents, showed his true colors of party patronage above all else yesterday. Saying: “Regardless of how one feels about the agreement, fair-minded Americans should acknowledge the president’s strong achievements in combating and containing Iran,” according to the New York Times. Which means he too will have nowhere to hide when Iran violates the deal and more than likely acts hostily toward its loudly proclaimed enemy Israel. Good luck with that one, Chucky.

 

On another subject, watching Trump’s continual unnecessary and completely unprofessional bashing of competitors leads to a not so obvious conclusion. Because it’s entirely possible that he now realizes he’s in over his head and thus, is looking for a way to get out of the campaign while preserving his shoot-from-the-hip self-styled image.

 

The possibility of his seeking a graceful way out came to mind because, even a spoiled brat like he is must surely understand that while appealing to frustrated voters, childish, name-calling and the absence of professional substance disqualify him from the level of experience, expertise and self-discipline required to successfully fulfill the duty’s of a POTUS. 

 

If, on the other hand, the assumption is wrong and he doesn’t find a way to drop out, he has several serious problems. Forty plus years in sales taught me, to never, ever denigrate competition. It’s always best to compare products, demonstrate their effectiveness with proven results, and earn sales by proving how good your own offering performs. 

Talk is cheap and available everywhere, but the highest of quality certainly isn’t. Which is why the old adage, “put up or shut up,” always works. It's also why proven results are the only valid, and worthwhile, criteria that should be considered. 

 

Which means that a huckster like Trump can’t truly compete for the presidency, because he has no experience in governance, successful or otherwise. And government isn’t business, requiring a completely different array of skill-sets. 

 

As far as sales go, I wrote a book on the subject myself, about twenty years ago, that still sells on Amazon today. You can look it up. However, with all my knowledge regarding the business world, its clear to me that my successfully closing hundreds of financial deals has nothing at all in common with running a nation. And certainly not the largest and greatest free one that ever existed. 

 

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

 

A new CNN/ORC poll finds Bill’s wife “37% support among Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters, down 10 points since August, followed by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders at 27% and Vice President Joe Biden at 20%. Sanders' support is about the same as it was in August, making Biden the only candidate to post significant gains in the last month. His support is up 6 points in the last month as he weighs making a run for the presidency.”

 

What’s really telling, though, is that: “In the general election matchups, Clinton trails former neurosurgeon Ben Carson by a significant margin (51% Carson to 46% Clinton among registered voters) while running about evenly with both former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (49% Bush to 47% Clinton) and businessman Donald Trump (48% back each).”

So, with the Iran deal now added, Bill's wife's hopes look less than dim, adding credibility to the point made in today’s first subject above. And also leading to the ongoing question: Joe Biden, Mayor Bloomberg, Jerry Brown, and Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you reading this?

After earning well-deserved praise yesterday, for highlighting the horrendous error made by the administration in totally conceding to Iran in the nuclear deal, Trump turned around and put himself back in the gutter again. A place he apparently is well acquainted with and seems to enjoy as a place to spend lots of his time.

 

What’s most confusing is that, while trying to convince the voting public that he’s the best man to serve as POTUS next time around, he willingly acts like the spoiled brat he is by denigrating competitors for no reason at all. In the process making himself look like a teenager in a schoolyard, who instead of outperforming his rival, thumbs his nose, utters epithets and acts like a sissified five year old.  

 

According to foxnews.com, “Donald Trump is under fire yet again after insulting the physical appearance of fellow GOP presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

 

"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president," the Republican frontrunner said in the interview. "I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?"

 

In this case, instead of presenting a premise that would enhance his candidacy, illustrating his self-proclaimed superior executive capabilities, he lost out twice in the same situation. 

 

Apparently unphased by Trump’s interview outburst  about her, Carly Fiorina told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly on “The Kelly File” Wednesday that Trump’s comments “speak for themselves” and are “very serious.” And thus, without coming down to Trump’s level or responding in kind, Ms Fiorina calmly left viewers with the impression of her own calm professionalism under fire. A capability Trump's proven often that he severely lacks. 

 

As far as Trump’s hard stand on immigration is concerned, his bluster may all be a waste of time in the end anyway. Because, according to Jeffrey M. Jones @gallup.com, Gallup's Minority Rights and Relations poll was conducted from June 15-July 10. It was “the first time Gallup has asked the question about immigration, so it is not known whether voters' orientation to the issue today is different from the past.”

 

What the results show is that, “Currently, 8% of Americans name immigration as the most important problem facing the country, compared with 6% before Trump entered the race, which suggests his presence has not greatly elevated the issue as a priority for voters, and it may still not be as important of a factor in the election as some of the other issues like the economy and the government.”

 

And so, in typical Trump fashion, he’s once again delivered huge sizzle, but no steak.

 

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

 

John Solomon @washingtontimes.com, reports that, “Federal investigators formally investigated top Hillary Rodham Clinton aide Huma Abedin for the crime of embezzlement after confirming she took a “Babymoon” vacation and maternity time at the State Department without expending her formal leave, resulting in thousands of dollars of pay she wasn’t entitled to receive, The Washington Times has learned.”

 

Evidence showed she filed time sheets charging the government for impermissible overtime and excessive hours after she converted from a full-time federal employee to a State Department contractor. 

 

What’s most interesting, though, is  Abedin, who served as a deputy chief of staff to Mrs. Clinton from 2009 to late 2012, “told investigators she hadn’t noticed she had received a $33,000 lump sum payment — about a third of which investigators determined was improper — when she left the State Department.” 

 

Her excuse made typing difficult, because laughing makes one’s hands shake: “My husband handles all the finances in our household,” she told investigators during a recorded interview in October 2014.” And that husband is “disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner, who she says failed to let her know.”

 

Potentially damaging information is perhaps the reason the government has turned over fewer Clinton-related emails than demanded, as cited by Stephen Braun @ap.org. 

 

“The State Department has delivered only seven of nearly 70 pages of documents that a federal judge identified as potentially responsive to an Associated Press request for documents relating to Hillary Rodham Clinton's hiring of longtime aide Huma Abedin as a special government contract staffer.” 

 

What’s more, although the department's response contained only five email documents, two of them were partially censored. 

 

Additional problems also exist because, “Government lawyers cautioned in a filing in a separate court case against the State Department that the agency's resources for processing requests for Clinton-related files "are strained to the limit." Justice Department lawyers working on behalf of the State Department said more than 16,500 new requests for Clinton-related files have been filed since September 2014 and there are now 87 court challenges pending in federal courts.”

 

And maybe that’s why Democrat leaders seem to be acting nervously lately, as referenced by Patrick Healy @nytimes.com, who wrote: “If party leaders see a scenario next winter where Bernie Sanders has a real chance at the Democratic nomination, I think there’s no question that leaders will reach out to Vice President Biden or Secretary of State Kerry or even Gore about entering the primaries,” said Garnet F. Coleman, a Texas state lawmaker and Democratic national committeeman.”

 

And then, Glenn Thrush and Hadas Gold @politico.com write about a truly incredible turn of events showing just how bad its really gotten for Bill’s wife. Whereas, no one in their wildest dreams could have ever imagined seeing something like this in print.

 

Writing that, “The New York Times has 'a special place in hell',” David Brock, former right-wing journalist-turned-pro-Clinton crusader, takes aim at a top New York Times editor in a soon-to-be released book obtained by POLITICO.

 

Brock accuses former Times D.C. bureau chief Carolyn Ryan of helping to turn the paper into a 'megaphone for conservative propaganda.

 

So, what we have here is the fact that troublesome issues, most of which were caused by Bill’s wife herself, have gotten so far out of hand that even that bastion of liberalism, The New York Times, has to report on them to preserve it’s image as the paper of record.

 

And in response, like the good lap dog he is, Brock turns around and tries to shoot the messenger who’s simply bringing documented facts to the public. And thus, if Brock truly wanted to eliminate the cause of his apparently overwhelming unease, he should simply turn the gun around and then pull the trigger.

Busy day today, but not much going on in the world that's really new.

 

Yesterday, I gave some credit to Trump for the first time. Opining that, “while its doubtful that Trump or Cruz are truly presidential material, if they deliver as promised tomorrow in D.C.,  significant credit must be given to them.”

 

And now, today, the rally’s over and here’s what Trump had to say: According to jpost.com, “Trump's remarks were short, unscripted, and largely focused on Israel, referring to calls from Iran earlier in the day to disappear the Zionist state within 25 years.”

 

"Israel will not survive," he said, with America's existing, "incompetent leadership."

 

And then, trying to sound tough and presidential he went on to note his history of brokering successful business deals, telling the crowd: "You're going to have so much winning." But, he didn't elaborate.

 

However, the not “elaborating”is quite understandable, and also where his premise breaks down. Whereas, other than inheriting a boatload of money, there are a significant number of failures and bankruptcies dotting a career that peaked when he became a TV host.

 

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife

 

As reported on foxnews.com, “Hillary Clinton offered her first outright apology for using a private email server while secretary of state, calling it a “mistake” in an interview that aired Tuesday.

 

“Even though it was allowed, I should have used two accounts. One for personal, one for work-related emails,” she told ABC News. ”That was a mistake. I’m sorry about that. I take responsibility.”

 

“The comments came just a day after Clinton told the Associated Press she did not need to apologize for her actions because “what I did was allowed.” She earlier had said she was sorry only for the confusion caused by the issue. 

 

But just as the interview aired, Clinton’s apology came under fire. RNC National Press Secretary, Allison Moore, said in a statement: “The only thing Hillary Clinton regrets is that she got caught and is dropping in the polls, not the fact her secret email server left classified information exposed to the Russians and Chinese. Hillary Clinton’s reckless attempt to skirt government transparency laws put our national security at risk and shows she cannot be trusted in the White House.”

 

However, by deciding to apologize now perhaps this will begin a whole new aspect of Bill’s wife’s approach, including the admittance of fault in many other cases. Some examples follow illustrating past events where some belated reticence might be appropriate.

 

When her husband was president, he allowed her to assume authority over a health care reform.  Yet even after threats and intimidation, she couldn’t even get a vote in a democratic controlled congress.  This fiasco cost American taxpayers about $13 million for studies, promotion, and other efforts.

 

Bill next gave her authority over selecting a female attorney general.  Her first two selections were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood – both forced to withdraw their names from consideration.  Next she chose Janet Reno – husband Bill described her selection as “my worst mistake.”  Some may not remember that Reno made the decision to gas David Koresh and the Branch Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in dozens of deaths of women and children.

 

Bill also allowed her to make recommendations for the head of the Civil Rights Commission.  Lani Guanier was her selection, until some probing led to the discovery of Ms. Guanier’s radical views, causing her withdrawal from consideration.

 

After that, Bill mistakenly allowed her to make some more recommendations.  She chose former law partners Web Hubbel for the Justice Department, Vince Foster for the White House staff, and William Kennedy for the Treasury Department.  Ultimately, Hubbel went to prison, Foster (presumably) committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

 

While many, if not most, younger voters will have no knowledge of “Travelgate,” in that situation she wanted to award unfettered travel contracts to friend Harry Thompson. When the White House Travel Office staff refused to comply, she managed to have them reported to the FBI and fired.  This ruined their reputations, cost them their jobs, and caused a thirty-six month investigation. Only one employee, Billy Dale was charged with a crime, and that of the enormous crime of mixing personal and White House funds. A jury acquitted him of any crime in less than two hours

 

Then she was allowed to recommend a close family friend, Craig Livingstone, for the position of Director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, suddenly both the president and his wife denied even knowing Livingstone, and of course, denied knowledge of drug use in the White House.  Following this debacle, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office after more than thirty years of service to seven presidents.  

 

And then, when women started coming forward with allegations of sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton, his wife was put in charge of the “bimbo eruption” and scandal defense.  Some of her more notable decisions in the debacle included: urging her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit.  Later, the case was settled with Ms. Jones.

 

It was her refusal to release the Whitewater land deal documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs. The devious game plan resulted in Bill losing his license to practice law for lying under oath to a grand jury and then his subsequent impeachment by the House of Representatives.

 

While avoiding indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation, Bill’s wife repeated “I do not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” a total of 56 times while under oath.

 

Even on her way out of the door of the White House, her trustworthiness came into play, whereas she was forced to return an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork that she had taken.

 

However, it seems that at present either voters aren’t buying what she has to sell, or perhaps she's giving off that same vibration that made them leery last time around, which opened the door for Obama.  

 

A new poll to be released later today,  from Vox Populi which was conducted for the pro-GOP group American Crossroads last week in in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, and Virginia, shows that, Bill’s wife’s “net favorability reached yet another new low, ticking down to negative 25 points. That’s four points worse than last month and 10 points worse than when the monthly poll began in July.”

 

Not surprisingly, “On the question of trust, it was more of the same from last month. She was viewed as to some degree untrustworthy by 58 percent of respondents at least to some degree trustworthy by 37 percent. Just 16 percent said they trust Clinton “completely” while 46 percent expressed “complete” distrust.”

 

After recapping much of her history today, and then reviewing the poll results, especially regarding “trust,” there’s one thing that becomes abundantly clear. She certainly is consistent.

Caught the last couple of minutes of Fox’s “The Five” yesterday. The TV sound was off, however the crawler at the bottom of the screen asked panelists what they’d do on their first day if elected POTUS.

 

An answer occurred to me instantaneously. Cancel the Iran deal, re-impose sanctions at an even higher level and remove most restrictions on drilling for oil and fracking in the U.S.. If those actions didn’t immediately curb the financial capabilities of hostile nation’s in the Middle-East, Russia, Venezuela and the Ukraine, I’d subsidize pricing until there was no real income left at all to those relying on oil as a primary revenue source. 

 

In that way, not only would terrorism threats be greatly reduced without firing a shot, or requiring military invasion, but allies such as Turkey and Israel would gain significant protection from hostile actions from neighbors.            

 

On another subject, while its doubtful that Trump or Cruz are truly presidential material, if they deliver as promised tomorrow in D.C.,  significant credit must be given to them.  

 

Garth Kant @wnd.com reports that the two will head “a huge rally to try stop the Iran deal at the Capitol on Wednesday.” Appearing with them will be Sarah Palin, political commentator Glenn Beck, radio talk-show host Mark Levin and many others.

 

And that’s what’s sorely needed now. Because while the majority of citizens oppose the “deal,” the administration is using every angle it can to force the travesty on the nation. 

 

From a statistical point of view, passage of the deal is upside down. 34 senators have now committed to support it, which means 66 have not. Yet, that number ensures Obama could veto a bill blocking the deal without the Senate overriding that veto.

 

Looking at the rest of the numbers causes scratching of one’s head. Because the much-criticized deal likely will go into effect despite opposition by as much as three-quarters of the House and 55 percent of the country. Just 25 percent of Americans support the deal.

 

What’s more, “Sixty-six percent of voters believe the deal should require the approval of Congress.”

 

Perhaps the reason for such significant voter discomfort is that, as often mentioned here, “the deal’s most controversial provision has been kept secret, even from Congress.” That’s the “side deal between the International Atomic Energy Agency and Iran, “that lets the country’s leaders decide which sites to inspect.” And also, “lets Iran do its own inspections at a key site.” Which is like letting Bill Clinton’s wife keep her own unmonitored computer server, if she promises to use it only for personal purposes. 

 

On another topic where the administration has been consistently and totally wrong, global-warming, reality has raised its ugly head once more, as Mother Nature is now cooling off the Atlantic.

 

The POTUS continually warns of increasing threats from storms, hurricanes and fierce weather due to what he now calls “climate-change”. However, the facts illustrate something completely different, as evidenced yesterday by two prominent hurricane researchers and Nature Geoscience, that: “The Atlantic looks like it is entering in to a new quieter cycle of storm activity, like in the 1970s and 1980s.”

 

According to scientists at Colorado State University, including the professor who pioneered hurricane seasonal prognostication, “they are seeing a localized cooling and salinity level drop in the North Atlantic near Greenland.”

 

The scientist now theorize, that the changing local weather and ocean patterns form an on-again, off-again cycle in hurricane activity that they trace back to the late 1800s. As a result, warmer saltier water “produces periods of more and stronger storms followed by cooler less salty water triggering a similar period of fewer and weaker hurricanes." The periods last about 25 years, sometimes more, sometimes less. The busy cycle that just ended was one of the shorter ones, perhaps because it was so strong that it ran out of energy, said study lead author Phil Klotzbach.

 

Which means that, for now and perhaps up to twenty-five more years, the cooling trend will continue. Directly the opposite of climate-change contentions.

 

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

 

Michael S. Schmidt @nytimes.com writes that, “A special intelligence review of two emails that Hillary Rodham Clinton received as secretary of state on her personal account — including one about North Korea’s nuclear weapons program — has endorsed a finding by the inspector general for the intelligence agencies that the emails contained highly classified information when Mrs. Clinton received them, senior intelligence officials said.”

 

Bill’s wife’s presidential campaign and the State Department disputed the inspector general’s finding last month, questioning whether the emails had been over-classified by an arbitrary process. However, the special review “by the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, concluded that the emails were “Top Secret,” the highest classification of government intelligence,” when they were sent to her in 2009 and 2011.

 

Maybe that’s one of the reasons a Tweet from Rupert Murdoch yesterday said:  “Looks like Biden already running. Very likely he wins nomination and be hard to beat.”

 

Thus, as it stands right now, regardless of political leanings, Biden's campaign would be a breath of fresh air. The hard core left would have a champion and most people would have to concede that simply being a woman isn’t a valid reason for attaining the most powerful position in the world. 

 

Which leads to the ongoing question: Joe Biden, Mayor Bloomberg, Jerry Brown, and Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you reading this?

If there was any lingering doubt as to how worthless the Iranian nuclear deal has become, a confirming addition proving that it has no value occurred yesterday. Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has now endorsed the farce.  

 

While every time this woman speaks, her intellectual incapacity becomes more obvious, her reasons for endorsement, even for one so dense, make no sense whatsoever. 

 

While expressing concern about the agreement, she argued that “it provides the best chance to ensure" security for the U.S., Israel and other allies,” according to foxnews.com.

 

And then she added, “Under the agreement Iran will not be able to produce a nuclear bomb for at least 10-15 years.” While the U.S. and its allies "will be able to more closely concentrate on stopping Iran's terrorist activity." However, since Iran will now be policing its own nuclear development activity, exactly how does this Democrat party hack know that? 

 

A few days ago Mike Huckabee, also @foxnews.com put the issue in far clearer context, writing that: “They say when the cat’s away, the mice will play. But when America abdicates its leadership role in the world, the rats run riot. President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran is a rat ship.

 

“The latest chapter in this rat-infested deal: the Obama Administration has agreed to Iranian “self-inspections”.  Letting the Iranians “self inspect” their nuclear energy facilities is like letting mass murderers run a gun shop, hoping they’ll behave.”

 

Yet, the most tragic aspect of what Wasserman-Schultz, and almost all other Democrats, have done is put politics over reality, like always. This time with the security of much of the free world in the balance. 

 

Staying on the politics subject, a new NBC/Marist poll reveals some very interesting results. Especially regarding Jed Bush, who many journalists and pundits tend to be writing off. Yet, he apparently still comes out on top for now. Even beating Trump. 

 

According to the poll, in hypothetical general-election contests, Jeb Bush and Donald Trump both beat Clinton in Iowa, but Bush beats Trump.  

• Bush 50 percent, Clinton 39 percent 

• Trump 48 percent, Clinton 43 percent.

But Biden performs better than Clinton:  

• Bush 46 percent, Biden 44 percent  

• Biden 49 percent, Trump 45 percent

In New Hampshire, the general-election numbers show Jeb on top as well:  

• Bush 48 percent, Clinton 43 percent

• Clinton 46 percent, Trump 45 percent  

• Bush 46 percent, Biden 45 percent  

• Biden 50 percent, Trump 41 percent. 

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

 

Mark Murray @nbcnews.com, refers to the same poll, writing that: “Back in July's NBC/Marist poll, Clinton was ahead of Sanders in the Granite State by 10 points, 42 percent to 32 percent, with Biden at 12 percent.

 

“Without Biden in the race, Sanders' lead over Clinton in the current survey increases to 11 points, 49 percent to 38 percent. 

 

“In Iowa, Clinton maintains her previous advantage over Sanders — but her lead has declined from 24 points in July (49 percent to 25 percent) to 11 points (38 percent to 27 percent); Biden sits at 20 percent.”

 

So, at this point, it looks like Bill’s wife’s campaign is beginning to resemble the old joke where the doctor says, "I bet they told you it had to be cut off." The patient answers, "Yes!" The doctor smiles, nods, and says, "That is not correct. It will fall off by itself."
