BloggeRhythms

The incumbent’s finally done something that will incite huge numbers of citizens to act, but unfortunately for him, they’ll be revolting against one of his most desired objectives.

At an Independence Day citizenship ceremony for service members yesterday, promising again to act on his own if Congress doesn't pass a bill, he said, “I'm going to keep doing everything I can do to keep making our immigration system smarter and more efficient."

However, whereas his history shows continual leniency toward illegal immigrants and a refusal to strongly enforce border protection, despite his verbiage to the contrary, residents of alien besieged towns and cities now have a model from which to build on.

Fox News.com reports that; “The Southern California town of Murrieta that gained national prominence when a crowd of protesters blocked buses carrying illegal immigrants being flown in from overwhelmed Texas facilities has become a flashpoint in what has become an intense national debate over immigration.

Earlier this week, approximately 200 protesters blocked buses carrying 140 illegal immigrants sent from a Texas to a US Border Patrol station, where they were to be processed before being moved to await deportation or asylum.

Days later, residents packed into a fiery town hall meeting, expressing their objections to the government sending any more illegal immigrants to Murrieta.”

Therefore, although many, perhaps even most, American citizens might appear complacent, seemingly accepting things foisted upon them with no apparent objection, it can be a huge mistake to think there won’t ever be major revolt. And often what’s needed to wake the “sleeping giant” is pushing it too far by underestimating its resolve against encroachment regarding public rights.

So, whether or not this show of revolt in California is an indication of further upheavals, only time will tell. However, there’s a very good chance that now that the first steps been taken by the public, its almost certain many, many more rebellions against open-door immigration policy will follow.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
