BloggeRhythms

Anyone aware of the incumbent’s hands-off practice of governance certainly can’t be surprised that although he’ll soon be visiting Texas, he doesn’t care enough to even look the part of a U.S. president. Raising money for himself and his party is his only real forte.

He’ll be attending three fundraisers in Texas next week, but won’t travel to the border to see the crisis many say he has exacerbated by not enforcing the country's immigration laws. Instead, according to Fox News.com, he’s “vowing to enact unilaterally more executive actions to ease deportations.”

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said the incumbent’s “scheduled to attend a fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in Dallas on Wednesday and two events for the Democratic National Committee in Austin on Wednesday and Thursday. And then, when pressed about the decision not to go to the border and the military bases and detention centers where illegal immigrant children are being warehoused, Earnest said “Obama has all the information that he needs from his senior advisors.”

On another issue, the White House is loudly promoting the news that the unemployment rate dipped to 6.1 percent last month, the best reading, they say, since September 2008. However, the number’s no longer accurate whereas the formula’s been changed to exclude the long-term unemployed, a significant statistic.

According to Ali Meyer of CNSNews.com, “there were 92,120,000 Americans 16 and older who not only did not have a job, but did not actively seek one in the last four weeks. That is up 111,000 from the 92,009,000 Americans who were not participating in the labor force in April.”

Even worse, “In June, according to BLS, the labor force participation rate for Americans was 62.8 percent, matching a 36-year low. The participation rate is the percentage of the population that either has a job or actively sought one in the last four weeks. Before December, the last time the labor force participation rate sank as low as 62.8 percent was in February 1978, when it was also 62.8 percent. At that time, Jimmy Carter was president.”

And that's probably a significant reason for the incumbent’s job approval rate to be even lower than the peanut farmer’s.

Additionally, Michael W. Chapman, also of CNSNews.com, writes that: "In the numbers released today, covering the month of June, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for black Americans age 16 and over was 10.7%, reported the BLS. The unemployment rate for white Americans in the same age group and time-frame was 5.3%, said the BLS.”

So, while the stock market keeps climbing, further enriching those the incumbent claims to despise, those he constantly talks about helping aren’t gaining a thing job-wise.

Which brings us once more to Bill Clinton’s wife.

Whereas it seems her new book is going nowhere in the American market, she’s now in England trying to hustle sales there.

But, during a BBC Interview she "appeared to state the Conservative and Tory Parties in Britain were rival political parties. However, "Tory" is in fact another name for the Conservative Party in Britain.”

Here’s what she said about the U.S. relationship with England: “There's not just a common language, but a common set of values that we can fall back on. It doesn't matter in our country whether it's a Republican or a Democrat or frankly, in your country, whether it's a Conservative or a Tory. There is a level of trust and understanding. That doesn't mean we always agree because, of course, we don't."

So, at least she’s always consistent. Because she’s never really known about what goes on around her in our nation, being the boss’s wife she didn’t have to. And now, it seems proven she doesn’t know a thing about other nations either, which her ignorance about the cause of the Benghazi raid made quite clear.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
