BloggeRhythms

While the incumbent tries to point fingers, as usual, blaming others for his major foreign policy misjudgments, mistakes and errors, the truth continues to prove otherwise.

Wynton Hall of Breitbart writes today that, a newly released report by the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) “included a breakdown of Obama’s PDB attendance record between terms; he attended 42.4% of his PDBs in his first term and 41.3% in his second.”

At the same time, as expected by yours truly, huge backlash’s beginning to build from the intelligence community, as evidenced by the following from Mr. Hall: “On Monday, others in the intelligence community similarly blasted Obama and said he’s shown longstanding disinterest in receiving live, in-person PDBs that allow the Commander-in-Chief the chance for critical follow-up, feedback, questions, and the challenging of flawed intelligence assumptions.

“It's pretty well-known that the president hasn’t taken in-person intelligence briefings with any regularity since the early days of 2009,” an Obama national security staffer told the Daily Mail on Monday. “He gets them in writing.”

The Obama security staffer said the president’s PDBs have contained detailed threat warnings about the Islamic State dating back to before the 2012 presidential election.

“Unless someone very senior has been shredding the president's daily briefings and telling him that the dog ate them, highly accurate predictions about ISIL have been showing up in the Oval Office since before the 2012 election,” the Obama security staffer told the Daily Mail.

However, here’s further, damning evidence establishing what little regard the incumbent and his senior staff have for those bringing them critical information and intelligence that doesn't agree with their political posturing. “When Washington Post columnist Marc Thiessen mentioned the GAI’s findings in his column, then-White House Press Secretary Jay Carney dubbed the findings “hilarious.” The very next day, U.S. Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens and three American staff members were murdered in Benghazi. As Breitbart News reported at the time, the White House’s very own presidential calendar revealed Obama had not received his daily intel briefing in the five consecutive days leading up to the Benghazi attacks.”

Now, whether or not the incumbent would have understood the input  about Benghazi had he heard it in person, or done anything differently isn’t really the question. What’s far more critical is that after five years he still spent more time “campaigning” and pandering to his constituents than he did performing the duties and responsibilities of POTUS.

Nonetheless, and despite his continual speech-making instead of attempting to perform presidentially rather than as a permanent candidate, it seems the public has caught on to his misdirection attempts and is now seeking truth’s from a well-informed, reliable source.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The last three months have been so big, Fox News Channel just clocked its first quarter with the most-watched primetime across all of cable in more than a decade — even besting USA and ESPN.

Third-Quarter 2014 Primetime Averages

FNC: 1,797,000 viewers, up 12 percent (313,000 adults 25-54, up 12 percent)

CNN: 555,000 viewers, up 2 percent (186,000 adults 25-54, up 4 percent)

MSNBC: 557,000 viewers, down 2 percent (150 adults 25-54, down 21 percent)

HLN: 352,000 viewers, down 4 percent (120 adults 25-54, down 12 percent)”

So, with the mid-term elections drawing nearer, there appears to be a significant probability that Republicans will obtain substantial power by gaining seats in the Senate while retaining control of the House. And if the incumbent stay true to course, by seeking someone or something to blame for the Democrat’s losses, all he really needs is the nearest mirror.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
