BloggeRhythms

According to breitbart.com, the incumbent declared that the “world’s at a crossroads between war and peace” when he spoke at the  U.N. on Wednesday.

Trying to lead a coalition to dismantle an Islamic State "network of death" in the Middle East that has drawn the U.S. back into military action, the “president's remarks came against the backdrop of an expanded U.S. military campaign against the Islamic State group, with airstrikes now hitting targets in both Iraq and Syria. A coalition of five Arab nations joined the U.S. this week in the strikes in Syria: Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar.”

However, while his actions now are certainly needed, “W” Bush took care of that problem years ago. And it’s the mistakes caused by the incumbent’s pandering to his immature and irrational political base that’s allowed ISIS to come into being today in the first place. Because the U.S. should never have abandoned the strong foothold gained by its efforts the first time around.

On another purely political issue, two climate-change advocates, one pro, one con, appeared on Fox News this morning. Unfortunately I didn’t record their names.

The one who supported climate-change theories presented statistics and data, primarily gathered from computer models predicating all kinds of anticipated disasters in the nation’s future. The guy had tons of facts, all warning about the coming ruination of the world’s atmosphere.

As far as the other side was concerned, the gentleman said that regarding actual man-caused carbon-dioxide emissions, their affect to date is nowhere near dangerous levels at present. And even if they were, it’s Mother Nature alone that controls 98% of the atmosphere surrounding the planet, while actual temperatures haven’t changed at all in the last 17 years.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
