BloggeRhythms

September 11th went quietly by, while no terrorists have apparently entered the nation via the open southern border which seemed quite odd to me. Then, giving the situation some thought this morning, a very strong possibility came to mind.

Aside from all else, ISIS has a very intelligent leadership. Therefore, along with their significant funds and weapons cache, they also use their heads. And whereas the congressional elections will be held quite soon, they probably feel that the more Democrats there are in office, the better chances ISIS has for success. So, they don’t want to see a Republican controlled Senate at all, while preserving as much of the House for Democrats is also strongly to their advantage.

On the other hand, should Republicans gain significant congressional power, ISIS knows its days are over. Therefore, it's in their own best interest to be patient for now.

On another subject, taxpayer funds were used to produce a musical stage show promoting climate change, and now the reviews have come in, as follows:

Perry Chiaramonte of FoxNews.com writes that, “The curtain has come down on Climate Change: The musical and reviews of the taxpayer-funded play about global warming are downright icy.

The play, which is actually entitled "The Great Immensity," and was produced by Brooklyn-based theater company The Civilians, Inc. with a $700,000 grant from the National Science Foundation, ended its run early amid a storm of criticism from reviewers and lawmakers alike. It opened a year late, reached just five percent of its anticipated audience and likely fell short of its ambitious goal of informing a new generation about the perceived dangers of man-caused climate change.

Plus, it apparently wasn't very good.”

So, it seems that folks continue to refuse to buy into the subject of climate-change, primarily because it hasn’t had any effect on them, obvious or otherwise. Furthermore, it has to be quite upsetting for taxpayer’s to learn that not only has $700, 000 been taken out of their pockets, but the frauds and charlatans that stole their cash wrote a musical to sing about it.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
