BloggeRhythms

Considerable speculation continues as to why Attorney General Eric Holder suddenly decided to resign from office. History shows, however, that sooner or later the truth will ultimately come out.

I mention him today because a Fox News.com article reports that his “legal legacy will be debated for months and years to come, but his most important political benefaction to his party is on display right now as Democrats continue to crush Republicans in campaign spending for November’s midterm election.”

The reason the article’s interesting is that considering the horrendous state of the nation due to Democrat blundering, total incapability and the harm done to the majority of the population by their arrogance and stupidity what difference could campaign spending possibly matter?

To the 50% of the country that’s un or under-employed, or on some kind of government assistance, or had their standard of living decimated, what in the world would an ad or speech do to make their lives any better? Instead, what those folks know for sure is that it isn’t another vacant promise in an ad that’s needed. A total change in government is required. Starting with a Republican Senate in November, and two years later in the White House too.

On another matter, Dan Pfeiffer, the top communications adviser to the incumbent said yesterday that, “Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., is the most interesting Republican in the country, and the only one with a long-term vision that could threaten Democrats’ coalition. Paul has a defined vision with a real appeal… if not the organization to take advantage of it. And the reason I say that is he is the only Republican who seems to know about what their long-term structural problems are and trying to do something about it’…”

Pfeiffer’s statement is a great example of how the game of politics really works. Because he knows for sure that Paul’s unelectable, and therefore if he can drum up support for him it will help the Democrat cause by draining votes away from real threats, such as almost every other Republican likely to run for the office of POTUS.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
