Terence P. Jeffrey @cnsnews.com presented some statistics today that are really cause for thought and consideration.

Mr. Jeffrey writes that: “Even as the Treasury was hauling in a record $3,248,723,000,000 in tax revenues in fiscal 2015, the federal government was spending $3,687,622,000,000. So, the federal government ran a deficit of $438,899,000,000 for the fiscal year.

“According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, total seasonally adjusted employment in the United States in September (including both full and part-time workers) was 148,800,000. That means that the federal tax haul for fiscal 2015 equaled about $21,832.82 for every person in the United States with a job.”

Where did all that the money come from? “The largest share of fiscal 2015's record-setting tax haul came from the individual income tax. That yielded the Treasury $1,540,802,000,000. Payroll taxes for “social insurance and retirement receipts” took in another $1,065,277,000,000. The corporate income tax brought in $343,797,000,000.”

Therefore, one has to wonder whether the likes of Bernie Sanders and Bill Clinton’s wife, among other leading Democrats understand at all how the nations economy runs. Because as it stands now, all those paying taxes already fund all the nation’s bills, yet these fiscal lunatics want to gouge them further, although what’s collected now is truly staggering.

And what’s worse, what these deadbeat leftists with their hands out don’t seem to care about, understand or even try to grasp, is that it was overbearing government and taxation that caused the Founding Fathers to come here and build America in the first place. However, if they keep gouging the successful, history may very well repeat itself.

On another topic involving the same sorts of people, John Heilemann @bloomberg.com, wrote about Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii.

Representative Gabbard states that: “She spent debate day giving cable-news interviews via satellite, claiming that, as retribution for loudly calling for more Democratic debates than the DNC currently envisions, she was deemed unwelcome in Vegas by the committee’s chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz—who Gabbard suggested is an enemy of free speech, as well as a liar.”

The crux of the story, though, is the author’s revelation that: “Of two dozen Democratic insiders with whom I spoke this week, including several DNC vice chairs, not one defended Wasserman Schultz’s treatment of Gabbard. Most called it ridiculous, outrageous, or worse. Many argued, further, that the debate plan enacted by the chairwoman is badly flawed—an assessment shared by many party activists, left-bent supporters of Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley, and those candidates themselves, all of whom see it as a naked effort to aid and comfort Hillary Clinton. And they maintained that the plan was a clear reflection of Wasserman Schultz’s management style, which many of them see as endangering Democratic prospects in 2016 and beyond.”

Further investigation showed that there’s apparently significant displeasure among Democrats about Schultz. This was indicated by DNC Vice Chair R.T. Rybak, a former mayor of Minneapolis ,who when asked if he was calling for Wasserman Schultz to resign, replied: “I'm coming really close. I'm not quite doing that yet, but unless I see some significant shift in the way she's going to operate and see that she has some ability to reach out and include people who disagree with her, then I seriously question whether she's the right person to lead us.”

What’s most significant here, is that while the major media takes every opportunity to stretch the slightest indication of possible disagreement among Republicans in their search for a new Speaker of the House as evidence that their party is in disarray, at the same time the Democrats are in exactly the same state of uncertainty, yet almost no one reports on it.

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

Matt Apuzzo and Michael S. Schmidt @nytimes.com, wrote that: “Federal agents were still cataloging the classified information from Hillary Rodham Clinton’s personal email server last week when President Obama went on television and played down the matter.”

The article’s author's then go on to take stale information and reshape it into a story protecting Bill Clinton’s wife, even after the White House tried to retract what the POTUS had indicated by saying that eventually, the facts will speak for themselves.

What’s most important here, though, is that despite appearing in the Times, with it’s highly leftist audience, reader’s comments following the story run heavily against the column’s authors and their conclusions. Which means that, people in both major party’s are concerned about the truth regarding email misuse and leads to the ongoing question: Joe Biden, Mayor Bloomberg, Jerry Brown, and Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you reading this?

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
