Rob Nikolewski@watchdog.org via FoxNews.com reports that: “The administration of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has shown no signs of backing off the statewide prohibition on hydraulic fracturing the Democrat announced at the end of last year.

“But a collection of landowners in one of the most economically depressed areas in the Empire State hopes the Cuomo administration will give it the OK to drill without using conventional “fracking” techniques, in the hopes of reaching some of the vast natural gas deposits in the Marcellus Shale formation.”

While it’s hard to believe that a governor would stand firm against new technology that potentially could help a depressed area of his state simply due to political posturing, there’s another consideration that’s perhaps even more important that Cuomo’s ignoring.

At the moment, Russia’s flexing it’s power, taking advantage of natural resources that finance Putin’s moves in the Middle-East. However, falling oil prices cost him dearly, possibly preventing further advances. Thus, for that reason alone, a responsible governor ought to re-think his political postures and try to help his nation in any way possible whenever he can. In this case, by contributing to lowering the price of oil.

On another subject, a FoxNews.com item this morning is headlined: “Obama says Clinton email server a 'mistake,' but denies national security jeopardized”

According to the text, Obama said in an interview with CBS' "60 Minutes," that ”Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server to conduct her correspondence while secretary of state was a "mistake," but denied that U.S. national security had been jeopardized as a result.

Obama added: "She made a mistake. She has acknowledged it. I do think that the way it's been ginned up is in part because of politics. I think she'd be the first to acknowledge that maybe she could have handled the original decision better and the disclosures more quickly."

Reading the headline, then the first few paragraphs led to the conclusion that Joe Biden must have decided to drop out of the presidential race, because why else would the POTUS defend someone he supposedly despises. Or perhaps, he’s simply defending his own mistakes, whereas she was his highly-touted Secretary of State.

But then, in the last paragraph, his true feelings finally surfaced when he concluded by saying: "What I think is that it is important for her to answer these questions to the satisfaction of the American public. And they can make their own judgment." And thereby, he threw right back under the bus.

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clintons wife.

The Editorial Board @usatoday.com blasted her this morning, writing that: “As a member of the human race, Hillary Clinton no doubt has a spine. But her backbone has been more than a little difficult to detect in recent weeks as she opts for one politically expedient position after another ahead of Tuesday's first Democratic debate.

“She has decided to oppose the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, trade pact. She's against the Keystone oil pipeline. And she wants to repeal the so-called Cadillac tax on high-end health insurance plans.”

And then the Editor’s presented the very same conclusions expressed here quite often, by noting that: “The positions she has taken are the easy way out. They involve siding with unions, environmental groups or those who advocate throwing yet more taxpayer subsidies into the health care system. They might not even be good politics, as they will make it more difficult for her to move back to the center for the general election if she wins her party's nomination.”

Along the same lines, wnd.com via Drudge, published an article regarding a Sunday night program: “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio,” in which the host spoke with Gennifer Flowers.

According to the text: “For the first time since Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy for president, Bill Clinton’s notorious mistress for 12 years, Gennifer Flowers, is now speaking out, calling Hillary’s bid to run in part on women’s issues “a joke.”

The story goes on to present significant filler and detail, however Gennifer’s first-hand observation’s are neatly summed up in the following paragraph: “Woman's rights. Ha!" Flowers retorted. "I personally have worked my tail off to get where I am in the entertainment business, which has not been easy since the Clinton scandal, by the way. ... Hillary never put up a shingle and worked for her clients and built her clientele. She always got things on the back of her husband. ... I think it's a joke that she would run on women's issues."

Therefore, it continually becomes apparent that the only consistency regarding Bill’s wife, is that virtually everyone who knows her personally concedes that they are unaware of any accomplishments of hers other than her marriage to Bill. Which leads to the ongoing question: Joe Biden, Mayor Bloomberg, Jerry Brown, and Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you reading this?

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
