BloggeRhythms

Today’s one where you have to sit back and ask how its possible that an administration as totally incompetent as this one could ever be elected to office. In fact, it’s doubtful the nation has any enemies that could take it apart as effectively as this one is doing from the inside.

For starters, Susan Rice once again proved herself totally out of touch with reality, while completely unaware of the facts regarding the subject she was addressing on national TV.

Brendan Bordelon of The Daily Caller reports that, “Deputy national security advisor Tony Blinken struggled to cover for his boss Susan Rice on Tuesday, backtracking from her contention that Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl “served with honor and distinction” in the face of tough questions from NBC reporter Andrea Mitchell.

Mitchell confronted Blinken over Rice’s Sunday claim that Bergdahl “served with honor and distinction” —  an assertion almost immediately disproven by scores of Bergdahl’s comrades and official Pentagon reports, which show the soldier abandoned his post and may have been seeking to join the Taliban.

Why did Susan Rice say he served with honor and distinction?” she asked. “It was clear to the military as soon as he left what had happened, according to his former fellow soldiers?”

On the same subject, Rep. Tom Cotton of Arkansas, an Afghan war veteran who commanded a counterinsurgency unit in the same province formerly ruled by one of the released Taliban prisoners, told KWNA: “I think the president made a grievous error by negotiating with terrorists and engaging in a prisoner swap. There is now a price on the head of an American hostage. And Barack Obama has helped put that price there.”

However, its been quite clear for the past five years that foreign policy’s a subject never understood by the incumbent, so it may be unfair to criticize a neophyte. Therefore, let’s move on to his purported strong suit, health care.

On that subject, Chris Stirewalt’s column on Fox News.com discloses that, “The drug industry lobby group, PhRMA, which was arguably President Obama’s most important partner in writing and passing ObamaCare, is voicing new concerns about soaring prices under the law.”

Quoting from The Hill, Mr. Stirewalt goes on, “In a blog post Tuesday, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) pointed to new research showing that insurers tended to apply federal cost-sharing subsidies to deductibles and out-of-pocket caps rather than to specific treatments and services, including specialty drugs. The group also blamed the Obama administration for failing to impose constraints on how insurers determine what part of their coverage merits an extra discount for low-income individuals.”

A study commissioned by PhRMA last month showed that many Americans could end up paying more than double in out-of-pocket costs for prescriptions under some ObamaCare plans.”

Therefore, as the nation moves toward a one-payer system, the harm to consumers of this socialistic system is rapidly becoming apparent. Evidenced further by an article in the Wall Street Journal about a “quarter billion to fix failed ObamaCare exchanges” whereas “Five states that launched health exchanges under the Affordable Care Act expect to spend as much as $240 million to fix their sites or switch to the federal marketplace, a Wall Street Journal analysis shows.”

Thus, while the population hemorrhages money due to financial misguidance and mismanagement, it might be the time to consider what might happen after the upcoming presidential election in 2014.

In that regard, David Corn of Mother Jones via Drudge wrote an article about Bill Clinton’s wife, captioned,”She talks populism, but hobnobs with Wall Street.”

Mr. Corn reports that, “A few weeks ago, Hillary Clinton delivered a much-touted policy speech at the New America Foundation in Washington, where she talked passionately about the financial plight of Americans who "are still barely getting by, barely holding on, not seeing the rewards that they believe their hard work should have merited." She bemoaned the fact that the slice of the nation's wealth collected by the top 1 percent—or 0.01 percent—has "risen sharply over the last generation," and she denounced this "throwback to the Gilded Age of the robber barons."

Yet, one of her closets alliances is with investment bankers, Goldman Sachs.

The articles quite informative, and well worth reading whereas it clearly illustrates the hypocrisy and double standards of a major self-proclaimed protector of the masses, who’s proven time and again she’s always for sale to the highest bidder.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
