While the incumbent wasn’t answering questions asked of him on Fox, one of his favorite agencies was releasing some truly incredible information, further illustrating how this administration cares about absolutely nothing but itself.

Stephen Dinan of the washingtontimes.com/news on-line writes that: “Citing the need to boost employee morale, the Internal Revenue Service’s new commissioner said Monday that he will pay out millions of dollars in bonuses to agency employees, reversing a decision his predecessor made to save money amid the sequester budget cuts and other belt-tightening last year.

The agency remains under fire for targeting tea party groups, but Commissioner John Koskinen said the bonuses are needed to retain and attract good employees in a time of cutbacks.”

So, here we have an agency probably involved in criminal activity that will never be pursued by the politicians they work for, who instead of being penalized are getting bonuses to improve their “morale.” There isn’t a well-managed business on earth that could survive if run like that.

In the meantime, however, people in the real world are getting their work-weeks shortened, facing rising health care costs, paying considerably more for fuel than they should, watching the deficit climb over $17 trillion while according to Market Watch, the "real" unemployment rate is now at 15%.

And what’s even worse is that the IRS isn’t really needed at all. A flat tax with no deductions not only solves the problem, it offers the fairest revenue system for everyone. Which is why it won’t be considered because it takes ”special interests” and favoritism out of the picture, hampering government attempts to feather its own nests.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
