BloggeRhythms

Democrats, especially the hard left, are truly amazing as a group whereas they rarely have viable ideas or constructive thoughts, thriving instead on tearing the successful down. Their major stock and trade is seeking out the gainful, striving to force sharing with those that are not.

However, what’s most odd about Dem’s is that although they can’t survive without those who attain any level of wealth or success, they despise, demonize and denigrate them every chance they get.

An example of this lunacy appeared today in a short item on Fox News as follows: “Virginia Democratic state Senate candidate Jennifer Wexton is taking to the airwaves comparing Tea Party Republicans to violent rapists in her bid to replace Mark Herring¸the Democrat who won a cliffhanger race for Virginia attorney general last November. In the  ad Wexton exclaims, “…as a prosecutor I put violent offenders in prison. In the Virginia Senate, I'll fight just as hard against Tea Party Republicans…”

In reality, though, looking up a simple description of what the Tea Party actually strives for, this one appeared in The Hollywood Reporter via Drudge: “The Tea Party started as a group that [the government] could make go home to bake meatloaf at any point in the last three years by simply doing two things: Stop raising taxes and stop stealing their money.”

So, I guess if you  have nothing to offer as a candidate and must grasp at straws, one might as well try to smear competition any way they can. However, that means running the risk that more voters are unaware of the truth than those that are.

In the meantime, while low level Dem’s distort facts to make their case, the one at the top has far bigger problems at present. Because while his health care tax needs oxygen and a former Secretary of Defense infers presidential military incompetence as global freezing sweeps the nation, washingtontimes.com/news reports more bad news, as follows:

“Although the president often rails against income inequality in America, his policies have had little impact overall on poverty. A record 47 million Americans receive food stamps, about 13 million more than when he took office.

The poverty rate has stood at 15 percent for three consecutive years, the first time that has happened since the mid-1960s. The poverty rate in 1965 was 17.3 percent; it was 12.5 percent in 2007, before the Great Recession.

About 50 million Americans live below the poverty line, which the federal government defined in 2012 as an annual income of $23,492 for a family of four.

In spite of the administration’s anti-poverty efforts, however, the government reported this week that poverty by some measures has been worse under Mr. Obama than it was under President George W. Bush. The U.S. Census Bureau reported that 31.6 percent of Americans were in poverty for at least two months from 2009 to 2011, a 4.5 percentage point increase over the pre-recession period of 2005 to 2007.”

So, as suggested many times in the past, the best way for Republicans to help themselves is to do nothing at all. Because the current group of incompetents in office don’t need an iota of assistance in their self-destruction as their total incapability proves itself over and over, all day long.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
