BloggeRhythms

As the mainstream media once again uses a tragedy, this time the terrorist rampage in London, to further its own agenda, the POTUS went right to the American people on Twitter.

One tweet, posted @realDonaldTrump said: “Do you notice we are not having a gun debate right now? That's because they used knives and a truck!”

76,000 “Likes” were received.

Another Trump tweet said: “We must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people. If we don't get smart it will only get worse.”

There were 106,000 “Likes” for this one.

Confirming Trump’s observation regarding weaponry employed, AWR Hawkins wrote @breitbart.com this morning: “Prior to the June 3 London terror attacks a pro-ISIS channel sent out a meme urging Islamists to use trucks to “kill the civilians of the Crusaders.”

“The meme also urged Islamists to use guns and knives.”

The move toward easily acquirable weaponry will likely be greatly appreciated by the 5 million members of the National Rifle Association who won’t be implicated in this one.

As far as the POTUS himself is concerned, Monica Crowley who served as foreign-policy assistant to Richard Nixon from 1990 to 1994, offered him some advice @nypost.com yesterday.

Her reason for providing “The warnings Nixon would give Trump,” stem from Trump’s never holding high office before. So he’s “making some rookie mistakes that are playing right into the hands of those enemies. And these foes are not mere detractors but organized, well-funded forces openly committed to the destruction of his presidency. He may, therefore, benefit from Nixon’s hard-earned wisdom.”

Whereas the “enemies of both are legion” in their quest to overcome an entrenched corrupt system, both “posed mortal threats to the entrenched power and influence of the establishment and media, regarded with sneering disgust and considered unworthy of the job — and the respect that went with it. If either man were allowed to succeed, the swamp’s corrupt gravy train would come to a screeching halt. The same long knives that were out for Nixon are now out for Trump.”

Commonalities include “sensitiv[ity] to attacks, real and perceived. The burgeoning investigations. A high-profile firing. The appointment of a special counsel. Top aides in the crosshairs. A braying media. A suggestion of White House tapes. Impeachment chatter.”

Crowley also points out the similarity of the current Russia investigation and Watergate, specifically noting that: “Watergate had provable crimes, while thus far, there has been no evidence whatsoever of any wrongdoing by Trump or his team.

And it’s at this point that Crowley joins almost all others who fully support Trump but have yet to grasp his modus operandi as she writes: “Assuming there were no violations, Trump should calmly restate the truth, let surrogates fight the fevered fantasies of his enemies, steer clear of ongoing investigations, contain leaks and focus on his agenda.”

However, since Trump has absolute certainty that no violations exist, he’s free to let the “fantasies of his enemies” consume all their time and energies. And while those enemies are fantasizing among themselves along with the mainstream media, Trump has his administration occupied elsewhere, as reported by CNN’s Jim Acosta in an article titled: “These are the 100-day accomplishments Trump is touting”

Thus, when one carefully considers the 100-day accomplishments Trump is “touting,” it becomes quite obvious he’s quickly transforming America back to the nation his supporters desired to see. However, it’s doubtful so much would have been accomplished if his leftist opposition had been paying attention to what was occurring. Proving the wisdom and insight of Trump’s letting his enemies spend all their time trying to impeach him.

Which means that while Crowley has the best of intentions in suggesting that a “White House dodge-and-weave strategy — particularly when there’s nothing to hide — only encourages more probing,” she’s comparing Trump to a former president who had an entirely different perspective and was devoid of business acumen.

And as a result of both Nixon and Crowley's lack of awareness of business strategizing there’s an inability on Crowley’s part to see the difference in Trump’s approach as she writes: “I always knew that there was a double standard,” Nixon once said to me. “I just didn’t realize that when it came to me, there’d be a triple standard.” Later, he said, “I should have known that since so many hated me, I couldn’t even sneeze as president without someone ordering an investigation.”

“His point was that he should have recognized that, given the grave threat he posed to the establishment and media, he should have been hyper-vigilant and hyper-ethical, leaving no openings anywhere for anyone to leverage against him.”

However, in Trump’s case he wants the “establishment and media” continually occupied chasing their tails. Because while they’re doing that, his administration's left alone to keep fulfilling the very long list of accomplishments to be added to those already achieved in his first 100 days office.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
