A Quinnipiac University national poll released yesterday wasn’t surprising, showing that American voters oppose the nuclear pact negotiated with Iran, 57 - 28 percent. What’s more, there is only lukewarm support from Democrats.

As to be expected, there is overwhelming opposition from Republicans, 60-15 percent while Democrats are backing the deal by a 58-8 percent margin.

However, there’s also an indication of potential problems in the upcoming presidential elections. Because while independent voters are critical to winning that contest, the poll found that, “More self-described independent voters, oppose the deal then support it, 39-24 percent."

As far as the election itself goes, FoxNews.com’s Chris Stirewalt reports that, Joe Biden is seriously considering another presidential run, and that Josh Alcorn, “a former aide to Biden’s late son Beau Biden announced Sunday he is set to join the Draft Biden super PAC.”

While Alcorn ‘is described by the AP as the younger Biden’s “top political and fundraising” aide from Delaware,’ Maureen Dowd wrote in the New York Times that, “Beau was losing his nouns and the right side of his face was partially paralyzed. But he had a mission: He tried to make his father promise to run, arguing that the White House should not revert to the Clintons and that the country would be better off with Biden values.”

As far as the Clinton’s themselves are concerned, Beau Biden certainly knew what he was talking about. Because, with every passing day, more indications arise illustrating what’s at best, questionable ethical behavior.

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

According to FoxNews.com, “An investigation may have found evidence a top State Department aide to Hillary Clinton took advantage of government employment rules with potential conflicts of interest and overpayments.

“In a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry Thursday, Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said an inspector general probe suggested Huma Abedin leveraged her State Department job to benefit her two other employers at the time: the Clinton Foundation and a consulting firm called Teneo Strategies.”

In what’s become a very consistent pattern, details show that “Teneo Strategies was founded by a longtime aide to Bill Clinton, Douglas Band, and boasted the former president as a paid board member when it first launched in 2011.”

Whereas Abedin either didn’t think of eliminating what might become evidence, or simply forgot to erase it from her server, Senator Grassley’s letter to Kerry said, “Abedin allegedly sent or received more than 7,000 emails on her government account that involved [Douglas] Band.”

It also seems that her closeness to Bill’s wife provided Abedin a PhD level education in quid pro quo, whereas, Senator Grassley noted that, “Judith Rodin, the Teneo client in question, was then president of the Rockefeller Foundation, "which donated hundreds of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation, a fact which Mr. Band allegedly noted in his email to Ms. Abedin."

And then, much like her boss’s proclivity to squeeze every nickel possible from whoever one can, the Senator’s letter states that, "[E]mail evidence allegedly suggests that Ms. Abedin and Ms. Mills shared a desire to find a way to ensure the Department paid for Ms. Abedin's travel to and from New York, while calling into question a $33,000 payment Abedin received from the State Department for leave she hadn't used.”

So, if the presidential run doesn’t turn out well for Bill’s wife, she might very well use her experience to build a new career in education. Because, as the evidence illustrates, she’s seemingly taught her top aide, Huma Abedin, well as to how extortion and fraud work, netting Abedin $33,000 that’s presently known about.

Mayor Bloomberg, Joe Biden, Jerry Brown, and now perhaps Howard Schultz, Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, are you reading this?

That's it for today folks.

Adios
