While the leftist press in Britain has been predicting a likely defeat for British Prime Minister, David Cameron, FoxNews.com reports that yesterday, he and “his Tory party scored a decisive victory over the opposing Labour Party.”

In what ought to be a very strong indication of what American voter sentiment will be in 2016, Prime Minister Cameron’s win “left far-left and far-right parties in the dust and defied pre-election polls with a resounding election triumph, which he called, “the sweetest victory of all.'

As far as things U.S. voters will be most concerned about, Tyler Durden wrote yesterday in zerohedge.com via Drudge that the nation’s workforce continues to shrink.

“In what was an "unambiguously" unpleasant April jobs payrolls report, with a March revision dragging that month's job gain to the lowest level since June of 2012, the fact that the number of Americans not in the labor force rose once again, this time to 93,194K from 93,175K, with the result being a participation rate of 69.45. That’s “just above the lowest percentage since 1977.”

The results led Mr. Durden to conclude that the situation “will merely catalyze even more upside to the so called "market" which continues to reflect nothing but central bank liquidity, and thus - the accelerating deterioration of the broader economy.”

Overall weakness in the economy is also confirmed in an article “Realty Check,” by Diana Olick in cnbc.com yesterday, illustrating that the U.S. hasn’t recovered from the market crash in 2008.

Ms Olick writes: “That crash, however, created a much larger share of renters, and these Americans are not enjoying the new wealth that now-rising home prices afford. Ninety percent of metropolitan housing markets have seen a decline in their homeownership rates.”

She also points out that, while home values are rising, “incomes are flat, and that is widening the wealth gap, according to a new study by the National Association of Realtors, which looked at homeownership, home values and income growth from 2000 to 2013.”

Additionally, “The homeownership rate rose to a high of more than 69 percent during the housing boom in the mid-2000s and has now fallen to 63.7 percent, the lowest in 25 years, according to the U.S. Census. With millions of homes either in the foreclosure process or in a negative equity position, the real homeownership rate is actually lower.

“The study also showed that income inequality, based on the Gini index, a measure created by the World Bank, is widening as well. That is exacerbating the wealth gap in certain metro markets as well. For instance, Miami has the third-highest income gap in the nation.”

So, here’s another critical case where results of presidential policy have been the exact reverse of what was promised by Obama. Which is something else to add to the mix regarding the probable outcome of the upcoming presidential election in 19 months.

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

Jonathan Allen writes in Reuters via yahoo.com that “The U.S. State Department will not review the breaches of the 2008 ethics agreement Hillary Clinton signed in order to become secretary of state after her family's charities admitted in March that they had not complied, a spokesman said on Thursday.”

While that’s certainly no surprise, whereas the Clinton’s rarely comply until subpoenaed by Congress, Bill’s wife had previously, “promised the federal government that the Clinton Foundation and its associated charities would name all donors annually while she was the nation's top diplomat.

“She also promised that the charities would let the State Department's ethics office review beforehand any proposed new foreign governments donations.”

Nonetheless, “In March, the charities confirmed to Reuters for the first time that they had not complied with those pledges for most of Clinton's four years at the State Department.”

As far as the The State Department’s concerned, spokesman Jeff Rathke said on Thursday, the department, “regrets" that it did not get to review the new foreign government funding, but does not plan to look into the matter further.

So, while no one with more than half a brain would trust either of these self-serving thieves with a quarter, one has to admit that their nerve and gall is in a class that’s unrivaled by anyone else on the planet.

That's it for today folks.

Adios
