BloggeRhythms 5/16/2013

No one needs me today to learn the magnitude of the administration’s disgrace, corrupt politicizing and functional incompetence. Headlines and stories of the incumbent’s unraveling can be found just about everywhere one looks. And that leads to today's theme: My total confusion with current reactions to the apparent implosion and self-destruction of leadership at the top.

My quandary’s actually quite basic, beginning with the method I use constructing the entry’s for this very blog.

For the most part, I simply sift through many subjects every day, with no particular or predetermined agenda. Generally, so much media attention focuses on DC activity, and the incumbent specifically, a large percentage of news coverage naturally addresses both.

Therefore, for more than five years now, simply by perusing the most basic, readily available publicly distributed information, I’ve not only known what an incompetent, self-serving fraud the incumbent is, I’ve got hundreds of my own blogs proving that point. In fact, sitting wherever you are right now, you can go back through all of them and read them yourself.

So, here’s the nub of my current confusion.

If all I did was sit here and type about public information I read, how come the major media, along with huge numbers of the population in all walks of life, are suddenly shocked by disclosures of presidential fraud, deceit and incompetence that have been continually apparent to anyone paying the slightest attention?

The funny thing about the answer to that one is, the biased, brain-dead major media thought that by helping the administration strong-arm and subvert Republicans, and especially Tea Party threats, they were furthering their socialist agenda. However, they backed a guy without principle or decency, using politics as the vehicle to satisfy only himself, leaving them and their mission totally stranded with everyone else, regardless.

But, it seems now that too much has come apart to keep under cover any longer, more items appearing daily that probably wouldn’t have been mentioned only a few months ago.

Michael Goodwin, of FoxNews.com, wrote an article headlined: “Now we know -- Team Obama both corrupt and incompetent.”

He then notes that, “The chorus of comparisons between President Obama and the only president to resign in disgrace is growing by the day, as the administration’s scandals appear to pile up.

Whether the comparisons are fair or not, columnist George Will perhaps led the charge -- after citing the Article of Impeachment against President Nixon in an opinion piece this week.

Will recalled the line: "He has, acting personally and through his subordinates and agents, endeavored to cause, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, income tax audits or other income tax investigations to be initiated or conducted in a discriminatory manner."

But, here’s the one that almost knocked me off my chair.

Dylan Byers, of Politico on-line quotes the incumbent’s biggest fan, Chris Matthews, as saying last night “[He] obviously likes giving speeches more than he does running the executive branch.”

That followed a comment Matthews made Tuesday, when he called called him "a ship with the engine off."

So, now I’ve been joined by one of the nation’s top journalists, George Will, and a broken down, biased flunky, Chris Matthews, in believing the Incumbent’s unfit for the office he holds, and in my opinion, any others as well. Which brings me back to my opening question: Why did it take these guys five years to find out what was so obvious from the very beginning?

That's it for today folks.

Adios
