You’ve got to hand it to the Democrats. They’ve either reached the pinnacle of inanity, or believe their constituents are abject morons. Because, for some unknown reason they’ve chosen a wounded, untruthful phony as their attack dog against Trump.

To find a comparison to the campaigning error, a web searched showed the biggest blunder to date in history to have occurred in 1788 when the Austrian army accidentally attacked itself and lost 10,000 men.

In today’s case, according to FoxNews.com: “Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren continued to fill the role as attack dog Saturday, as she tore into presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump calling him a “thin-skinned racist bully” who shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the White House.

“Warren blasted Trump on several hot button issues over the course of her speech and even openly boasted that she “could really do this all day.”

"Every day we learn more about him, and every day it becomes clearer that he is just a small, insecure moneygrubber who doesn't care about anyone or anything that doesn't have the Trump name splashed all over it," Warren declared speaking before hundreds of fellow Democrats in New Hampshire. Warren berated Trump for his remarks on minorities and women, his economic policies, views on climate change and for allegedly using deceptive marketing practices for the defunct Trump University.

“She declared Trump is only qualified to be "fraudster in chief" and said he relies on tearing others down.”

In reality, however, Warren’s comments are like bank robber Willy Sutton, calling Bonnie and Clyde crooked.

As recently as May 25th, Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe: “reminded the show’s panel of Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D., Mass.) hypocrisy after she attacked Donald Trump for his comments on the housing market.

“Just a headline, though, from National Review, May 27, 2015,” he said. “Because I heard this and we all heard this, and so, headline: ‘Elizabeth Warren Bought Foreclosed Homes to Make a Quick Profit.’ May 27, 2015, ‘before the crash that she blamed on speculators, Sen. Elizabeth Warren made a bundle by flipping houses.’”

Similarly, also according to Fox: “President Obama on Saturday broke from his family vacation in Yosemite National Park to urge Americans to act on climate change, which he argued is destroying the country’s precious natural resources.

“Make no mistake, climate change is no longer a threat, it’s a reality,” the president said in a roughly 10-minute speech, ahead of the upcoming 100th anniversary of the National Parks system.”

He was referring to the heatwave currently affecting the region, which happens to be a perfectly normal occurrence in weather cycles.

According to Wikipedia: “Yosemite has a Mediterranean climate (Köppen climate classification Csa), meaning most precipitation falls during the mild winter, and the other seasons are nearly dry (less than 3% of precipitation falls during the long, hot summers.” Which means that it’s supposed to be dry and hot at this time of year.

Historically, the park’s climate swings are consistent with the past as well, whereas: “At the park headquarters, with an elevation of 3,966 feet (1,209 m), January averages 38.2 °F (3.4 °C), while July averages 73.0 °F (22.8 °C), though in summer the nights are much cooler than the hot days. There are an average of 39.5 days with highs of 90 °F (32 °C) or higher and an average of 97.9 nights with freezing temperatures. Freezing temperatures have been recorded in every month of the year. The record high temperature was 115 °F (46 °C) on July 20, 1915, while the record low temperature was −6 °F (−21 °C) on January 2, 1924 and on January 21, 1937.

Which means that if park temperatures remain consistent, considering the 121 point swing between 1915  and 1924, if the POTUS returns in nine years (2025) he might very well find the temperature to be below zero, as has happened regularly in the past.

Bringing us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

Bill Scher writes today @politico.com: “So at last the presumptive nominee can hope to gather in all those unhappy Bernie voters and lead a united Democratic Party in the fall, right?

“Not if Dr. Jill Stein has anything to say about it.

The longtime Massachusetts environmental activist and presumptive Green Party nominee (the Green convention is not until August 4) is hungrily eyeing disgruntled Sanders voters—many of whom have been saying that even now, with the nomination all but locked up, they still won’t vote for Hillary. And Stein appears to know her audience, declaring on CNN right after the California primary that she represents “a plan B … to continue to fight that revolution.”

Asked whether the Warren endorsement presents a problem for her: “Stein suggested that the Massachusetts senator lacks the progressive credibility to sway Sanders voters: “Elizabeth Warren has very good proposals regarding Wall Street, but she really has not been leading the charge for single-payer health care … and is pretty much a war hawk in alignment with Hillary Clinton.”

Nonetheless, many of the party faithful show little concern, believing Bill’s wife will easily overcome this minor disturbance.

However, according to Mr. Scher: “[Stein] is beginning to register in the polls as well, at least when the polls mention her, hitting 5 percent in a NBC/SurveyMonkey poll and 4 percent in Ipsos/Reuters. Does that hurt Hillary? Maybe. The inclusion of Stein in the NBC/SurveyMonkey poll helped trim a 7-point Clinton lead over Trump down to a tighter four, whereas in Ipsos/Reuters, an already comfortable 9-point lead was bumped up to 10.”

Thus, with 5 months yet to go until election day, where anything can happen (just ask AlGore) it seems there’s another fly in Bill’s wife ointment, aside from the FBI.

Bringing up the ongoing question again: Joe Biden, Jerry Brown, and Starbucks chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you guys reading this?

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
