BloggeRhythms

An article today @judicialwatch.org via Drudge probably won’t get a lot of reader attention. But, it certainly should. Because for a nation presently carrying $20 trillion in debt, one would think that the POTUS would at the very least, try to set an example of frugality. Especially since he takes aim at income inequality and the robber-baron Republicans every chance he gets. Yet, in reality, he does the complete reverse of what he preaches, as follows:

“Judicial Watch announced today that it has obtained records from the U.S. Department of the Air Force revealing that the October 2015 Columbus Day getaway enjoyed by President Barack Obama and his family cost taxpayers $969,783.90 in flight expenses alone.  The documents regarding the Obama travel expenses came in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request first filed on October 13, 2015.

"The Obama family’s October 11 flight from Los Angeles, where he had attended three high-dollar fundraisers, to San Diego, and then from San Diego back to Washington on October 12, required a total of 4.7 hours of flying time at $206,337 per hour. That brought the total flight cost to taxpayers to $969,783.90.”

What’s truly astounding, though, is what the travel costs have totaled for the POTUS’s time in office. “The $2,001,468.90 Obama spent for his flights between DC and Los Angeles to vacation in San Diego brings his known total expense to the American taxpayers thus far for all Obama travel to $72,881,504.68.  That comes to more than $10 million per year for each year he has been in office.”  Which is hypocrisy of the highest order.

On another subject illustrating complete disregard for any others but themselves, administration hack, John Kerry, said yesterday: “[I]t is likely that some of the billions of dollars in sanctions relief granted to Iran under a landmark nuclear deal will go to groups deemed terrorists.”

From the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, Kerry said, “that there is little the United States or others could do to prevent the now-unfrozen assets from getting into the hands of the Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps or "other entities" that Iran has supported in the past.”

He went on to add that: “But since nuclear-related sanctions were lifted on Iran last weekend, Kerry said there was no evidence yet to suggest such transfers had occurred.”

Which means the American public should now feel much safer, because seven whole days have gone by without any known proof of hostile use of the now unfrozen funds. However, in the event that Iran does become a major terrorist nation in their region, it’s certain that Kerry has ways to prove that the nuclear deal was “W” Bush’s fault.

Bringing us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

Yesterday, Rush presented a detailed analysis of the current status of the FBI investigation regarding Bill’s wife’s misuse of her private email server. His short introduction of the segment, however, says it all accurately and succinctly.

Rush said, “One of two things is gonna happen here. Either Hillary Clinton is gonna get indicted or the FBI is going to lose its great reputation for legitimacy.”

And then, he posted one of the best photo-shopped images seen in years.

Catherine Herridge @FoxNews.com, also wrote about the issue, illustrating how truly serious Bill’s wife’s infractions really are, as follows:

“Some of Hillary Clinton’s emails on her private server contained information so secret that senior lawmakers who oversee the State Department cannot read them without fulfilling additional security requirements, Fox News has learned.

“The emails in question, as Fox News first reported earlier this week, contained intelligence classified at a level beyond “top secret.” Because of this designation, not all the lawmakers on key committees reviewing the case have high enough clearances.

“A source with knowledge of the intelligence review told Fox News that senior members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, despite having high-level clearances, are among those not authorized to read the intelligence from so-called “special access programs” without taking additional security steps -- like signing new non-disclosure agreements.

“These programs are highly restricted to protect intelligence community sources and methods.”

Thus, putting these two commentaries together further illustrates that it would be extremely difficult for the Justice Department, the Attorney General and certainly the POTUS himself, to try to protect Bill’s wife from facing justice for her improprieties. Especially in view of what happened to General Petraeus under similar, but far lesser, circumstances.

Which leads to the ongoing question: Joe Biden, Mayor Bloomberg, Jerry Brown, and Starbuck’s chairman and CEO, Howard Schultz, are you guys reading this?

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
