BloggeRhythms

Another slow news day, but found some incredible input confirming the current administration may truly be the worst that ever existed. While the number of incompetents involved is astounding, two favorite targets got some unbelievably bad press today.

According to John Davison on Yahoo news, “US Secretary of State John Kerry, who has invested more than a year of intensive shuttle diplomacy, said there were "limits" to the time Washington could devote to the process.”

He was talking about fruitless attempts to solve hostilities between the Israelis and Palestinians, where he’s evidently striking out completely.

What really stood out, however, is why he’s concerned about all the time he’s spending on the issue. And that’s because he currently had an "enormous amount on the plate", highlighting negotiations with the Russians over Ukraine, talks with Iran on its nuclear program and the Syrian conflict as other US priorities.

So, in review, every single one of the issues mentioned is in dire straits primarily because the administration either dropped the ball, relinquished its power and authority, or proceeded incorrectly from the very start. And worst of all, not one of the nations mentioned has anywhere near the level of respect it once had for the U.S., primarily because they’ve learned that no matter what’s promised or threatened, the odds are huge that nothing will ever be delivered at all.

And then there were two other items, both about Bill Clinton’s wife.

According to Joe Schoffstall of Capitol City Proj, via Drudge, “Hillary Clinton spoke at the Women of the World Summit in New York City and was asked what she was most proud of during her tenure as Secretary of State. Clinton could not provide any concrete examples of the accomplishments she holds in high regard.”

Which really isn’t surprising, because except for completely bungling Benghazi, she didn’t do anything except travel at taxpayer’s expense for her entire tenure.

Mr. Schoffstall ‘s article’s amusing because Mrs. Clinton provides five paragraph’s of double-talk wherein she not only doesn’t answer the question asked, but provides absolutely not one scintilla of hard information at all.

If you want a laugh, here’s a link: Struggles to list accomplishments during tenure as Sec of State

Adam Kredo of the The Washington Free Beacon, however, did provide some real detail on Mrs. Clinton’s performance in her post, as follows:

“The State Department misplaced and lost some $6 billion due to the improper filing of contracts during the past six years, mainly during the tenure of former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, according to a newly released Inspector General report.”

Furthermore, “The $6 billion in unaccounted funds poses a “significant financial risk and demonstrates a lack of internal control over the Department’s contract actions,” according to the report.”

And then, “The alert, originally sent on March 20 and just released this week, warns that the missing contracting funds “could expose the department to substantial financial losses. The report centered on State Department contracts worth “more than $6 billion in which contract files were incomplete or could not be located at all,” according to the alert.”

So, aside from her humungous travel expense, while she was away from the office she rarely visited another $6 billion was blown on her watch. Which means that she’s responsible for almost as much in costs to taxpayers as her former boss, the incumbent, runs up in his own travel costs for all the vacations he takes.

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
