The best summation of the Iran nuclear deal came from one of the most important sources of information available, the nation’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to FoxNews.com, Khamenei said Saturday that the “historic nuclear deal reached with world powers earlier this week won’t have any effect on Iran’s policy toward the U.S.”

In a televised speech the Ayatollah went on to say that, “U.S. policy in the Middle East runs counter to Tehran’s strategy and that Iran will continue to support its allies in the Middle East including the Lebanese, Hezbollah, Palestinian resistance groups and the Syrian government.” And that, “Our policy towards the arrogant U.S. government won't change at all."

At the same time Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the deal “will enable Iran to emerge from crippling economic sanctions while doing nothing to moderate Iran's aggressive behavior around the Middle East.”

The situation was also discussed on Forbes on Fox, this morning, where a panelist, whose name I didn’t catch, offered a frightening perspective on what the POTUS has now done to U.S. security in all. The nations borders are basically unsecure, unbridled illegal immigration is rampant, the military’s size has been shrunk and now we’ve given a sworn enemy a path to nuclear weaponry.

All of which makes one wonder what the POTUS’s true agenda is, and who its being done for. Perhaps Valerie Jarrett has the answer. If not, there's always an explanation available from Susan Rice.

Which brings us to today’s update on Bill Clinton’s wife.

An article @freebeacon.com says, “A federal agency rushed to approve funding for a Clinton donor’s sham Haiti recovery project that ended up defrauding the U.S. government out of millions, according to court transcripts and internal government documents obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

“Miami businessman Claudio Osorio, who is currently serving 12 years in federal prison on fraud charges, leveraged his relationship with Bill and Hillary Clinton to help his company, InnoVida, obtain a $10 million loan from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) for a Haiti housing project in 2010.

While “OPIC is an independent government agency that submits its annual budget requests through the State Department and works closely with the agency, Bill Clinton helped arrange for a high-powered Florida law firm to represent Osorio during loan negotiations with OPIC, according to court testimony.”

As far as Bill’s wife is concerned, an internal OPIC memo said she “was prepared to marshal State Department resources to assist with the donor’s project.”

While continually erupting story’s about past self-serving behaviors seem to be finally having some effect on the public, present competition is now also taking its toll on the formerly thought to be invincible presidential candidate.

David Martosko, U.S. Political Editor for Dailymail.com, writes that  in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, “Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley, two emotionally potent politicians determined to run far to the left of former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, outshined her Friday night during the Democratic presidential field's first big 'cattle-call' event.

“Following Clinton, who spoke in sharp cadence about herself and her family's story, the two men wowed a crowd of more than 1,300 with powerful appeals to progressives.” Both, “exceeded her ovations and grew their following on Friday in Cedar Rapids.”

Thus, the situation may prove quite ominous for her, because in 2006 the vast majority of voters in the U.S. would likely have asked, Barack who?

Mayor Bloomberg and Joe Biden, are you reading this?

That’s it for today folks.

Adios
